Ordered bed in October still not received and it is 20th December. Try to call and now the phone does not work!!! Everything bad, hopefully they will see this as cannot contact them?

I had bought a mattress last month for £589.99 from Bed Centre UK. I have been sleeping on an airbed while waiting for it to arrive. I had a email after 3 weeks to say it was delayed another 3-4 weeks by Sealy. It said on their website it would be delivered in 3-5 days. They wouldn't reply to emails and their phone line kept ringing out. After searching online I have found out they are in liquidation and that I would not be receiving the mattress I have desperately be waiting for OR THE MONEY BACK! I am now £589.99 out of pocket before Christmas, and still sleeping on a crappy airbed. Merry Crapmas. Avoid please!!!

Ordered mattress on 2/11/13 - NOT RECEIVED. Emails and telephones calls indicted delivery had been made 6 days after order placed. Now I find it would appear they have gone out of business. Trying to ring company and all I get is that I am dialling a wrong number and supplier web site of no help whatsoever. Today I learn from this site that the suppliers has gone out of business. fortunately credit card purchase will give me protection and I will get my money beck, but I wanted my mattress for family Christmas visit. NOT IMPRESSED WITH BEDCENTREUK. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Same problem as many people! Bed Centre UK are in administration and no longer trading! However they will still take your money! Promise a delivery date and then postpone it time after time again. WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Ordered a mattress 3 weeks ago, nothing arrived. I've been days trying to get in contact, phone just puts you in a cue, after 50 minutes of waiting got to the last person waiting and then voice mail says sorry no ones available to take your call!!! No reply to emails. Got an email today and they said they have gone into administration. Now I have the trouble of getting my money back if I can? Absolutely fuming I could cry.

I should have listened to other reviews, but thought no, people mostly comment on bad experiences, and lots of people would have been fine, so put in order for mattress, paid, they emailed to say no mattress, will process refund, and now they have closed down, don't know if Ill get my money back, wasted another week sleeping on sofa, WAT I NIGHTMARE, I need that money back!!!!

Do not pay for anything from this company until you have checked if they are still in business. I paid for a new mattress over a month ago and never received the goods. The couriers will not explain why and bedcentre phone is dead and they do not respond to any emails!!!!

Ordered a futon on 29 Oct. Sent two emails to check delivery date and got no reply. Spent ages waiting on the phone to customer service whilst the automated system told me I was in a queue - I never managed to get through. A month later they sent a series of emails blaming their courier system. I asked why they couldn't use a different courier system and if they wouldn't deliver in a week then I wanted a refund. After being fobbed off I was told that they had refunded me. Checked a week later and no refund. It appears that I have to take legal action to recover my money.

Ordered a bed at the start of October with delivery supposed to be 2 to 5 days They are very quick to take your money but do not deliver. Do not use this company There service....... They don't have a clue what service is. No bed Money taken Told refund would be put into account No refund Going to trading standards as it is disgusting that you can not even get through to them

I just recently bought a single bed for my daughter and with great disappointment their service was dreadful. Promised next day delivery and was told that it would be in two weeks, then four days before its due to be delivered I checked to make sure and only to be told that it will be three days late!! (after many phone call attempts with just music playing). If I had not phoned them then I would have booked a day off work for nothing. No one bothered to contact me about the change and indeed no apologies either. The morning before the new agreed date for the delivery I received an email to say that the delivery will be AM. A a few hours later a van pulled up the drive and there was the bed!! (lucky for us my wife was home on this day) They have obviously got a rubbish delivery system coupled with lack of customer service. The bed came with no instructions what so ever and it took me hours to put together something that should only take an hour if I had the appropriate docs! To finish off, the delivery guy basically dumped the items in the porch and went off. Didn't even ask if I need any help carrying it upstairs. Put it this way, I will never buy from them again and will most definitely NOT recommend them to anyone!

I ordered bed and they took ages to deliver and when I got it, it was not the mattress they shown on their web. I think they are selling fake stuff. so please avoid if you can. Customer service phone will take and hour to reach

I ordered a bed and mattress 3 weeks ago with next day delivery and the goods still have not arrived. They will take your money, smooth talk you and you will never see your goods. Don’t fall for their baloney that they will give you a discount and organise delivery. Shorten your pain and just cancel your order. How has the office of Fair Trading not closed them down?

I ordered abed at the begining of October. Iwas then told it had been delivered to them damaged and they would order another iwas offered a matress protector as a substitute for the price match guarantee. 2 weeks later i called them and my bed had not been re ordered they offered a £30 refund to compensate i agreed. Weeks later still no refund i phoned it takes ages to be put through then they fob you off saying it will be done that day, they dont reply to emails so tried live chat. The staff are very friendly but nothing gets done. Finally got refund 5 weeks after bed order and numerous calls etc. i now have my matress but they did not deliver the protector i am still trying to get this. The bed is fine the prices are good the service is apauling. I wouldnt recomend this company to anyone.

spent £1000 on new bed base and Matteress. Money transfered with No problems, and recieved a immediate e-mail confirming order. Delivery no problems until delivery men try to errect base of bed to be found that it is broken AND THE BASE OF BED HAS NO HEADBOARD. aLL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTED ON DELIVERY FORM AND E-MAIL SENT TO BED CENTRE. This was two weeks ago and I am still waiting for a reply. Several telephone calls but no reply or put on hold then cut off. now with consumer advice

Ordered a superking sealy mattress on 8th October. Finally got a refund due to the problems detailed below on 15th November...... Mattress was delivered on agreed date which was all good. Delivery guys took our old mattress out to the van and got the new one out and we discovered the packaging was ripped and the mattress was filthy down 2 sides so had to reject delivery. Called bedcentre on the monday and explained what had happened and e-mailed pictures of the mattress across to them. Did get an answer phone message 8 hours later after I chased via email explaining that the mattress was now out of stock and I would be called before midday the next day. Of course I didnt get a phone call on the tuesday so I had to call wednesday and was told it would be in stock by the following tuesday and the delivery company would be in touch then. For the inconvenience so far I was offered a "free gift" of duvet or mattress topper, opted for mattress topper and told this would be sent seperately. Heard nothing from the delivery company the following tuesday so called bedcentre on the wednesday (I was hold for over 20 mins, same as the other occasions) was put on hold again whilst they supposedly called the couriers, was then told, I would be contacted shortly by the couriers. Had a very uneasy feeling of what I had been told so called again on the thursday and explained still not been contacted by the courier and how unhappy I was with the service. The Guy I spoke to at bedcentre decided to finally tell me the truth that the mattress was still not in stock and would be another couple of weeks at least. At this point I decided that was not happy for them to have my money for few more weeks and asked for a refund which was told would be done. I also asked when we would receive the mattress topper and told this would have been sent with the mattress so no longer would be. I asked due to the service and inconvenience we had so far received if we could still be sent the topper as a way of an apology. They said they could do this if we paid the £10 postage. We agreed to this. I asked when this would be sent and was told I would be called back later that day...SURPRISE SURPRISE, no phone call. I called again the following monday to ask when I would receive my refund to be told that this was now PENDING. Asked about the topper to be told there were no notes on the system about this and the person I had been speaking to about this was not in that day and would call me tomorrow. He said he would get my refund released and sent back to me (as far as I was aware, the refund was minus the £10 for the topper). You guessed it, no phone call the next day. I called last wednesday as you can imagine by this point was very mad. Told my refund could take a few more days and it was for the full amount (they obviously had no intention of sending the topper) I requested we be sent the topper free of charge now due to the disgusting customer service we had receieved and was told they would only send it if we paid the £10. I could hardly speak that they had the cheek to ask me to still pay the postage, you think they may have wanted to redeem themselves and stop reviews like this being written. I told them that i would not be paying the postage and would waste no more time or money on this dispicable company. They had £644 of my money for 5 weeks! I now have my money back, 8 days after initially being told it was refunded. Customer service costs nothing and goes a very long way. This is the poorest customer service I have ever received and the reason I felt compelled to write this review. I hope bed centre uk are throughly ashamed of themselves with the way they treat customers. I will never ever recommend this company and hope people do read these reviews before thinking of purchasing products from them because if you do have a problem with the product, do not expect this company to give a damn about sorting it out!!!!!!!!!!

I just received an email from sales at the Bed Centre saying they are going into liquidation, they took my money £229 for a headboard on 19th November and said they couldn't deliver this side of Christmas so I requested a refund. I exchanged various emails who promised time and time again that my refund was being put into place. Today, 10th December, still no refund but an email saying they are going into liquidation! I haven't tried the phone line but on reading this review it looks like the phone line is dead!

I have received no communication from the company at all, but I did contact my bank and they will try to get my money back. I suggest you do the same if you haven't already.
