“Great Holiday, Great value”

Two wonderful weeks at the Petrino Suites Hotel, Afitos, Halkidiki, Greece. Booked over the phone, great advice from the representative, sorted cheap offsite parking at the airport, confirmation email with all the details within five minutes of putting the phone down. Hotel accommodation was delightful, small apartment with downstairs sitting area, and mezzanine floor upstairs for sleeping. “Customer service disgraceful!!!!!!!”

I was travelling alone with my disabled daughter and was anxious about doing so. I booked parking at the airport as I knew I would struggle with two cases and a daughter who cannot walk unaided. On arrival I was told that my paperwork was incorrect and I was at the wrong terminal!! I struggled immensely to get to the other terminal and this led to tremendous anxiety and upset for my daughter. “no voucher!!”

We did not receive a voucher before our trip, we did not know we needed one until we got to the hotel and they asked us for it. It took a while to sort out and was stressful. We had paid for a pool or sea view, the room we were given did not have either of these. We had to request to be moved. This was stressful too. WE BOOKED FAIRLY LAST MINUTE AND WEREN'T LEFT WITH MUCH CHOICE FOR HOTELS ETC. AFTER READING SEVERAL HORROR STORIES ON TRIP ADVISOR WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO FIND THE HOTEL WAS ACTUALLY NOT BAD!! Great to hear that you've spent a lovely time away, we are doing our best to fulfil all our customers needs, so I'm happy our care lived up to your expectations.
We aren't ATOL protected, because ATOL is a requirement specific to the UK. As we are Spanish company, we need to comply with Spanish regulations and the protection we provide is the Spanish equivalent. We also voluntary cover all our customers under EU package travel regulations, so you are fully secured on your holiday.
I'm truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you've faced during your flight. As Ryanair is a low cost airline, you need to pay for an extras like extra leg room etc. However, great to hear it didn't have much influence on your overall experience and that besides of this you've had a beautiful time away.

“marina resort benidorm”

the hotel is very modern and in a superb location right in the thick of it .only 5 mins from the beach and a 15 minuite stroll to the old town.the entertainement is first class with at least 3 acts in different bars around the comlex.now the pool area is good but there are no where near enough sunloungers hence the stampede at 9am.the rooms are adequate for the price a bit small but very well cleaned in fact the cleaning staff are superb the hotel is spotless.breakfast is good. a great choice… Read Full Review

“very poor communication with hotel!”

We booked a short break to the Hilton in Blackpool to coincide with my 30th birthday. The hotel was amazing and i would book there again tomorrow, but i most definitely would NOT book through lowcostholidays.com. I would book direct, as every complication that we encountered on the break was due to lowcostholidays none existent communication with the hotel. I had tried to book my holiday through Sunmaster, but their website is completely misleading with regard to children going free! (They don't) My experience with the booking process for the holiday was good, no problems at all. Very detailed emails confirming bookings etc and the paperwork was clear and came in plenty of time. Overall very pleased with the holiday we booked. Very decent hotel in centre of Malaga so plenty to do and also less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Only gripe was the internet/wifi in the hotel. At the end of our corridor, strength of signal was minimal or non-existent. But apart from that a pleasant hotel, clean and friendly, spacious room too. “Not so low cost”

I booked same hotel as last year since we'd had such a great holiday in 2014. The Orka Sun Life is a fantastic hotel, though the rooms are in 4 blocks stacked up the hillside, 200 steps to the top! My request for a suite in the lowest block resulted in a slightly larger room than we had had before but at the very top level, which for the extra £500 compared to what it cost last year was definitely not worth the extra money. “Not what we expected”

Our accommodation was not in the hotel, but over the road in what I would have thought was for self catering clients. Not enough sun loungers or chairs for clients based there. The rooms were very tired and in need of refurbishment.
