“Difficult to contact ”

Lowcost holidays are hard to contact, long waiting times not ideal but quick enough to take you money , customer services not so good I found them rude . Also why is this the only holiday company who want full balance paying months before you travel unlike most other companies where it's a month. I'm really sorry that this has happened to you. Please be assured that this is not our standard practise and our team is doing their best to help all our customers as soon as possible. Your feedback is really important for us so, I will pass it to the relevant department. Unfortunately, sometimes our team is really busy and that's why it takes longer to resolve query.
We ask our customer to pay in full up to 8 weeks before departure date, as we depend on our suppliers and their policy and we need to secure your booking.

“Cheapest agent for our hotel booking”

Booked for the Club Hotel jersey for a weekend break. Low cost holidays offered the break £20 cheaper than anyone else and it also included breakfast. After paying the vouchers were immediately emailed and the hotel had all our details on arrival. “Could Be Better”

This hotel is in a good position for restaurants, bars & shops but if you want to go to the beach everyday it is about a 15 mins walk, there is a bus stop 5 mins away as is the taxi rank. The hotel itself is very clean & the staff are very accommodating any problems it is sorted out very quickly. The rooms are very large but the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours. “Misleading booking information”

Her husband is in the Navy and is home rarely so she had childcare in place for a few nights in Dubai with me. Thank you for your message. I didn't expect to hear a thing as a result of this comment. I have subsequently contacted LCH as you kindly suggested. My booking reference was 7189154

However, for any potential customers reading this thread, I feel compelled to add that what really sits uneasily with me is that if a ticket is cancelled with Emirates directly they process a full refund minus taxes. LCH could do this but they choose NOT to do this for their customers. I fail to see the logic here. By doing something like this would mean the world to people, nobody gains from your current policy. You have a hurt and angry customer in Newcastle leaving an unsavoury review for a start….

I could have recouped around £300 back from the unused ticket but instead I paid around £400 for an empty seat on the plane! That knowledge just incenses me. Had that been possible I would never have had the lonely experience that I had. My sister would have accompanied me by having the refund to go towards another ticket directly with Emirates. I feel truly tricked by LCH and feel that an exception should have been made. How many more customers has this happened to? How many more will fall victim to this scenario?

I have been in touch with Emirates for support, and although their hands were tied, they’ve been wonderful and have really set the bar in terms of Customer Care. They have indicated that they can refund the tax etc back to me but via lowcostholidays. I told them not to do anything as I don’t believe from experience that any money would be refunded to me from LCH.

With the exception of your message, my customer experience so far with your firm has been cold and uncaring, thinking about it really upsets me. I can’t tell you how misled I feel about my booking, which I saved and subsequently paid £1,636 for. This might be a drop in the ocean to some people, but not to me. A lot of overtime went into this. It’s left me feeling very bitter and let down.

I would urge LCH to review their website data with regards to bookings involving Emirates (Prior to committing to the holiday) and urge you to change the policy on refunds in line with Emirates for the good of your customers and reputation.

i hope from my heading you get the picture of my experience. “Value for money”

I normally book holidays and city breaks separately, flight first, hotel later and always save money doing so. However, I will be trying this website in future as it was actually cheaper this time, and was easy to use on the website so quick convenient to book something quickly. Obviously it doesn't include every possible hotel out there but it depends on how wide you want to cast your net. “An enjoyable holiday but.....”

Lowcost holidays website needs to be made clearer with regard to checked in bags. The box does not make it clear whether the number is per person or for the whole party. As it was a rapid ammendment was made by phone (responder very helpful) to add another bag but this was at higher cost than if the correct number had been inserted originally.
