Recently booked through you, and as I was taking my 87 year old mum who is disabled & in a wheelchair. So I thought I would just check with one of your call centre colleagues that hotel Blue Sea Arenal Tower in Majorca was suitable for her. As the web site was said, close to beach, 2 pools one on roof, close to restaurants sounded to good to be true? “good clear booking proceedure”

I can only comment on the booking procedure as I have not yet been on the holiday. I was booked in by a clear English speaker. This is not always the case. Enquiries about a flight with Asian airlines to an Asian call centre were much more problematic. The agent, who booked me in, changed my hotel to meet my requirements, quickly and with no problem. Do not touch this company stay away as far as possible. I made a booking for a trip to spain. The booking was made in jan 2016 and most of the trip was paid for except 237. 77 pounds remaining. Hello,

I'm very sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Please let me explain, that when customer is paying only the deposit when making the booking, we always send a couple of emails to recall about the outstanding amount, and they are send automatically by our system on the email address provided while making the booking, so there is no option that these emails will not be send. Also on the first documentation you receive from us, on the first page it's written the due date, when the outstanding balance needs to be paid and you can do this over 'manage my booking' section on our website. In such cases we always deeply investigate the whole process, and you can be assured we would never cancel the holiday without trying to reach the customer in different ways: over the email and by calling them - and we've got a record of it in our system. I can understand it's disappointing, however there is nothing more we can do in this situation I'm afraid.

“Total Let Down”

Booked in Sept 2015 for August 2016. They called in May 2016 to let us down on Accommodation!! We had a mini water park at the resort plus all inclusive paying around 5000 for a family of six. “No Atol protection”

Queried the price difference in flights and when I queried this on the phone, they did not pricematch and was told the extra £18 was for the ATOL protection as I was booking a "package", but lowcost are registered in Spain and ATOL cover does not apply, Spanish regulations apply! As we're a Spanish based company we have a Spanish equivalent, which fully complies with Package Travel Regulations and is also a subject to UK law. wasn't a criticism of your company, just the options on the website, i want to book a double room as a single traveller, thats not an option i have found. Double rooms were available when i booked but, only if i changed the option to 2 people. Most hotels single rooms are pokey little cupboards.

Like we've already assured you multiple times, we are truly sorry that you are disappointed with the service you received from us. Of course we understand this situation has caused you a frustration, for what we apologise.
We've already updated this information on our website, and we are sorry this caused you confusion, however if you are interested in the specific hotel facilities, and our website provides the information that they are only included with the All Inclusive option, then you would have to go for the All Inclusive option which is more expensive anyway. That is why we've offered you cancellation with a full refund despite of our standard policy or amending the booking for an All-inclusive option free of charge, paying just the price difference.
Like we've explained you before, we are not ATOL or ABTA protected, as our company is based in Spain, so our protection has the Spanish equivalent. We've sent you all the necessary information about it and you can also find them listed in our policy.
Also please notify, that majority of our reviews are positive - our TrustPilot rating is 8.7 stars out of 10 stars.
Once again I'm sorry that you feel this way and that your experience with us was not as satisfactory as it could have been.

Looks like that our online forums conversations starting to look like a poor ping-pong game. You say your thing and I say mine :). Here's a bit more from my side:
1. I do appreciate your multiple apologies but does this change anything in my situation. No, it doesn't. There was a very clear solution to this problem and it was upgrading me to a package that I thought I'm paying for. You have terribly failed to deliver this.
2.I am very happy that your IT department have made changes to your website so it is not selling the incorrect product. I can only hope that your next customer will not fall into the same trap as I did. Again, that this changes anything to my current situation - absolutely NOT.
3. Again, the info on complaint procedure you have sent me is absolutely inadequate. The links that you've sent me does not provide any useful insights on how the complaint procedure may look like. Looks line that I'm going to complaint to Balearics Island Government (probably need to sign up for a Spanish course in order to communicate with them).
Finally, I'd like to promise you that this is my last Treviewcentre online post on lowcostholidays reviews. Looks like we're not moving any closer to finding a solution that would be satisfying both sides. Therefore, I'd like to thank you for your time and wish you a nice afternoon (wherever your customer service office may be located).

Good - price, website, ease of transaction not so good - wait to talk to someone on helpline. Arrived at hotel in Madeira to be told that although the room was booked, it was not paid for, so if not paid I would have to pay myself.
