WARNING Ordered a samsung tablet with 3day delivery. Now nearly 4 weeks. Customer service very poor not interested. They will not put you thro to a manager still awaiting refund. Paid in full at time of order. Do not order electrucal goods from very. They are still stating 3 day delivery on this item and they know for a fact thats its not true. Misrepresentation. “Avoid at ALL costs”

I would give zero rating if it was possible. I have never dealt with such a diabolical customer service department in all my life (oh apart from littlewoods who are the same company but charge more!!). To name but a few issues, their items are generally very poor quality but funnily enough none of their parcels have returns labels in to allow an easy return, like they should have ( as well as the fact all parcels come separately which is so so annoying!) “Shocking Returns Deaprtment”

I got a dress from very. Buy now pay later. It was cream on the top and black on the bottom. When it came to washing the dress i followed the instructions to hand wash it. Once it had been hand washed i noticed that all the black had ran into the cream which turned the top bit into grey stains. I rang Very for them to tell me to send it back. “Shocking interest rates ”

After spending an hour and half on the phone 2 nights ago in still no better of except with a huge phone bill to go with it. I wanted to pay my balance in full and close my account. My payment declined due to my bank suspecting fraudulent activity. This got sorted so phoned back the next day. They just seem to be a bunch of incompitant twits. No wonder so much goes wrong with orders if they can't simply change the dispatch date. I only wished I had read some of this stuff before I ordered. Would have saved me so much grief.

I ordered a child high chair for our grandson. Delivery was ok and on time. I checked the contents out when opening the box and all were there. I put together the chair and followed the instructions. Only to find when put together that 1 of the legs was 1 cm shorter than the others. Double checked to make sure I had not put together wrongly but no. it was faulty. I ordered a Dyson hoover from Very on Friday as mine blew up. I ordered it from them as they said that it would be delivered on Saturday and we needed a vacuum quickly. “Worst service ever.”

I purchased a netbook so that I had some access the outside world whilst I am battling cancer. This was a year ago. It didn't work for a day, I have been fighting for a replacement for almost a year . After 11 months, I am told that I can have a refund but it will be 21 days after I return the product. Before using them I'd assumed they were a reputable company. After months of attempting to make contact, I eventually sent them a lengthy email explaining my personal circumstances and that I was battling cancer. I'd hoped that this would encourage them to behave decently. The reply I received began "dear ?".

I hope you have better luck, but I doubt it....

I've not yet sent it back.

Despite informing Very of the problem in February, I was only offered the refund a week ago. I'm a little wary of sending the product back on a promise from them.

I was today told that my problem had been escalated to the "customer excellence team". I've no idea if this will be in anyway helpful. I've complained to trading standards and the ombudsman. I made it clear that it was my only access to the outside world whilst I'm in hospital. I find it hard to accept that they left it like this for close to a year.

Have you returned yours yet or are you wary like me?

FYI I was told that the refund was usually credited much quicker.

Hi, so sad to hear this. It's really shocking. I have returned the product as it is not fit for use. In fact it's bloody dangerous and would not put our Grandson at risk by putting him in it. Let's see what happens next. Been told by trading standards that they can have 30 days to refund me. I bet it will take all of those days too.

Thanks. If the "Customer Excellence Team" are of any help, I'll make them aware of your issue.

Most mainstream companies would bend over backwards to help. I'm writing a piece for a paper on this service. I'm fortunate to work in the entertainment industry and, as such, have some helpful contacts. Despite an obvious lack of conscience, hopefully this will force very to right their wrongs.

I bought a microwave oven from Very which was reduced in a sale. I also got 20% off as it was my first order. The delivery was on time, and to the address I specified. I opted to pay over three months, which made the purchase extremely affordable. On one month, the due date was a week before my pay date, and customer service were fine about extending my deadline (I still received text non-payment reminders). “Poor ecommerce experience”

Website very unintuitive.Delivery options not made clear during checkout. Found it difficult to pay for item rather than signing up for Very account. Paid for next day delivery to be told after placing order that item might not be delivered for 28 days. Informed Very of cancellation but they were unable to refund my card. I ordered a asus memo pad, paid extra to purchase through very as the website said delivery would be in time for my daughters birthday. Then informed the item would not arrive in time, then complained only to be told it wasn't in stock even though the website said it was and would come in time. Absolutely non-existant customer service! Extremely unprofessional & nowhere to be seen when something goes wrong. I had an account, used it regularly & paid well above the minimum payment amount each month. “Customer Service Department none existent. AVOID”

Every line of contact you are told to try will reply with 'apologies' and send you to the next one, none of which have any intention of helping to resolve your problem.
