“Terrible company with terrible customer service-AVOID”

I ordered a Samsung tablet in the black Friday sale for £129. A confirmation email was received and everything appeared ok. I then received a phone call on Saturday telling me the price was incorrect and ALL orders for this item will either be cancelled or you could buy it at a higher price of £249! I asked for a manager to call me back as I was not happy and was told no managers were available (really!!) and that I should refer to the terms and conditions! Exact thing is happening me at the moment.

A colleague of mine has an account with them and she ordered hers after me.. She knew none of this was going on until I told her..

She received an email yesterday evening from a customer manager stating that they are going to honour the price and the tablet will be dispatched within 10days.. I am still waiting on all my replys..

I have been constantly nagging them on the phone to speak to a manager aswell and am getting no where..

I am not long of the phone with them there and they have now decided to honour the price but because mine is a cash account I have to pay the full amount and then they will refund me, yeah right as if they will !!!!!

“THIS COMPANY A BAD JOKE!!”

My wife ordered a Samsung tablet from VERY for my birthday on the Black Friday deals! We received an email later that same day to confirm the order! On Saturday my wife took a phone call from a call center to inform her that we couldn`t have the tablet at the offer price but at double it!! “Customer services is shocking”

I have had a few problems with delivery dates but that is not my issue. My issue is their customer service department. When I worked in sales I was always told to look after the customer and try to help with anything they need, clearly very don't teach the same thing. Anytime I have phoned up they don't seem to know anything about my account. They also don't want to know anything about your account. “Surely UK's Worst Online Retailer!”

Having been in retail for over 30 years and been a keen online shopper for the last ten, I have never experienced such poor service from a national multiple! I purchased three items in October, two of which had problems and almost two months later, having been passed from piller to post, had numerous email correspondence and unreturned phone calls, I still have two items valued at over £400 that I can't use. Lured by 10% off but never given! Almost 2 weeks since order and no items received. Very phoned out of the blue requesting an initial payment which I made before items could be released - still not released almost two weeks on! “Very expensive Asus Notebook”

I bought an ASUS N550JV £900 from Very.co.uk. Had it a few days and it has a faulty touchpad. All I get from Very ( overseas call centre) is a contact number for ASUS. Under the Sale of Goods act its the retailers resoponsibility to deal with goods that are faulty or not fit for purpose. Tried getting to a manager. Never one available. “Very.co.uk refused to refund delivery charge of faulty...”

I ordered a South Coat. I inspected the item immediately upon receipt. The stitching at one sleeve came off. So I log into my account to do a return. There was a message that asked me to call the 0844 number. I explained the problem to the lady who answered the call. I asked for a replacement to be sent to me. I ordered 3 items from Very for Christmas. It was the first time of using this site. I ordered 2 craft sets and a doll for my daughter and used the Click and Collect Service with the items to be delivered to my local Asda store. They dont even deserve 1 star but that was minimum!I have never dealt with such a diabolical customer service department in all my life (oh apart from littlewoods who are the same company but charge more!!). I too am looking for a Z510, but was suspicious of Very. I saw your review, and noted the web site did say 1080p, then the next day it had changed ! As a result I'm steering well clear of Very and LittleWoods and Woolworths etc. Noone else has this model in stock, but I'd rather wait than go through the hassel of using very. Thanks for adding the review, it was the final straw that stoppped me from ordering from these charlitans

“Awful”

Ordered a dress that was in stock, I then received an email to say it would take 5 weeks before it would be delivered! They allow you to order but do not notify you if it's out of stock! Also if you buy anything with a discount they charge you the full price then refund you! Never known anything like this! I also tried to speak to customer services also shocking and poor done absolutely NOTHING! No explanation nothing! WARNING Ordered a samsung tablet with 3day delivery. Now nearly 4 weeks. Customer service very poor not interested. They will not put you thro to a manager still awaiting refund. “Shocking Returns Deaprtment”

I got a dress from very. Buy now pay later. It was cream on the top and black on the bottom. When it came to washing the dress i followed the instructions to hand wash it. Once it had been hand washed i noticed that all the black had ran into the cream which turned the top bit into grey stains. I rang Very for them to tell me to send it back. After spending an hour and half on the phone 2 nights ago in still no better of except with a huge phone bill to go with it. I ordered a child high chair for our grandson. Delivery was ok and on time. I checked the contents out when opening the box and all were there. I put together the chair and followed the instructions.
