“Great site”

I ordered about 5 items over the Christmas period, they all arrived promptly and I had no problems at all. Though some of the things I ordered together did arrive on different days, which is a little annoying but this was clearly explained to me on the site before I made my purchases. So far I think Very is a good site and I'm surprised by other people's negative experiences. But I'm sure they have many more happy customers, they just can't be bothered to write a review… Read Full Review

hmmm there are plenty of negative reviews because it for one thing sounds like they have awful customer service and quite frankly you are in the minority!!! I hope people will read your review and ignore it!

“Terrible experience! Never again.”

Ordered a present for Valentines day - Looked beautiful and not very expensive and they still had it available in my size! Paid extra for fast postage as I didnt want it to be late - they said it would arrive the day after (this was a tuesday so should arrive the Wednesday). Wednesday flies by and nothing. “VERY disappointed customer”

I purchased a bed and headboard from very. I was advised of the delivery dates for both items and arranged time off for both. First item delivery did not go ahead. There was no communication and very we're not able to say why! item delivered the next day!,. I wrote a complaining email but I am still awaiting a reply. “Poor Customer Service and Very Bad Quality Products”

I ordered 3 door wardrobe on sale for £207 from Very.co.uk. When assembling parts were damaged and doors wont close as the base was very weak and does not support the weight of the body and the doors. “sent return back 47 days ago, still no refund!!”

worst company ever! sent item back by collect plus,got email to say it had been received, 10days later no refund. “Very Bad Service”

I ordered a Swan Oil filled radiator on 19/01/14 this arrived 20/01/14 & on the 21/01/14 I tried to use the returns section on the Very website. “Disgusting Customer Service”

I purchased an Ipad on Very's Buy now pay later Scheme. I had £300.00 left to pay. The due date for this payment was January 10th 2014. Unfortuately, because I only receive on-line bills this slipped my mind, yet I made the full payment 9 days late. I was expecting to have a small amount of interest, due to paying 9 days late. “Products Cheaper Elsewhere”

I've used Very for 3 years now, to be honest I haven't had any major problems with them, I ordered a 3D tv from them which was faulty, they wouldn't let me return it until some repair centre engineer spoke to me first. I spoke to him, told him that the maker has admitted to me it was a known fault, and he agreed it was faulty, I was then allowed to return it, and my money was re-credited to my account. “Great if you can clear off your balance in 3 months”

I have both a Littlewoods and Very account. The difference is that Very is cheaper- but only if you pay off your balance in 3 months with the "take 3 option". If you don't they will charge you interest normally at 49.9% APR. Plus they charge you delivery of £3.95 for every order unlike Littlewoods where its free. “Avoid Very At All Cost You Have Been Warned !”

On 03 December 2013 I was told about a good deal from Very for a Garmin Sat Nav. The product description said "Purchase by 23 December and receive a free Garmin travel pack". “Seriously lacking”

Very are an exceedingly frustrating company to deal with. Unable to provide any information further than that provided on their website when you contact them. Apparently they can not contact their suppliers to check into availability of items when there are worrying signs about them being able to fulfil the order on time. “Appalling, cheap and shoddy goods”

I ordered a single bed from this company which collapsed when anyone sat on it. Eventually, managed to return it after several phone calls and emails and ordered a replacement bed which actually splintered in half. After several attempts at phoning and emailing , I have been told by a customer advisor that I will have to pay £45 to have someone inspect it to see if it is a manufacturing fault. “WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH”

I ordered a computer on 29th of November, still not delivered now (20th December). The computer is currently being passed daily from a Gatehead delivery dept to a Wednesbury delivery dept which is strange as I live in Bristol. “total waste of money for a bunch a cheap stuff.”

“Very are incompetent and useless!!”

I would avoid Very at all costs. After receiving a SMS/text message for £10.00 off my next order, I thought I would place a new order. 3 weeks later and I am still trying to get the £10.00 credit added to my account. They say that they want proof by post, how can you send a text message by post! “Staff have no accounts training”
