“Dreadful Service - Avoid like the plague”

Ordered a wardrobe and was given a 6 week delivery date. Happy to wait, but turned up a week early while I wasn't in. Spoke to the service desk three times, but no one rang back with a new date and now I have no idea whwre the wardrobe is, when it will be delivered and I'm afraid to ask for a refund as I've read numerous reviews whwre no refund is received. I have had an account with Very for a number of years and have bought a number of items from them over that time. I've never had to contact their Customer Service as usually the item has arrived, even if its been a day later, I've had no cause to complain. “Rip off”

Make sure you check all your transactions with very as I looked back in mine and found I had been charged 7 times for late payments to which I payed on time every time..... Customer service is shocking, being told a load of lies 8 phone calls late ave managed to receive 4 repayments back into my account, but now have a huge phone bill as each call was over a hour long!!! I placed an order and was given a 4 day delivery time which was great, even received an email to confirm this. I then receive another email to say expected delivery was going to be a month and half later???? Phoned up to cancel my order to be told my money wouldn't be back in my account for 6-7 working days, when I complained I was told this would now be 10-14 working days. i waited for 4 weeks for a delivery then on the day it was supposed to be deliverded at 5 oclock after I waited in all day I received a txt to say it was not coming then today I waited in all day for another delivery which did not come and received another txt to say it was not coming after I waited in all day. rang up and they are not intrested said it will come when it comes. “Laughable sales practice”

I am forced to write from my negative experience with Very.co.uk and want anyone who's making a decision whether to purchase from Very to see how they operate. I bought an item which was on sale for £47, however very sent me a wrong item instead, one which was valued cheaper at £37. Having contacted them to ask whether I can simply keep the wrong item so long as they credit the £10 difference to my account. “Dreadful customer service”

I have bought quite a lot of items from very and spent quite a bit of money with them, but recently had experience of their 'customer care'. I bought a buy now pay later item from them last year, a very expensive item, and had paid most of it off, but unfortunately overlooked when the last payment was due, as a family member had a severe stroke and it was a very traumatic time, where I spent most of the time at the hospital. I had a brand new pair of £150 ugg boots from very.co.uk after wearing them for no more that 5 hours a child (who i did not know) kicked a pile of leaves at my feet which had a burst red pen in amongst them. Don't be mis-led and rely on their word when they say you get paper statements through the post every month because you DONT they only send them out when they have stuck a load of interest onto the total, then they have the audacity to say its the POSTMANS fault. “Faulty laptop, repaired twice by HP now very wont refund”

I purchased a laptop in January 2014, then three weeks ago the mousepad stopped responding. Contacted very who said to contact HP directly. So sent the laptop away to HP to be repaired, both times the fault still existed. Contacted very who said to return it to them for a refund so I can order a new laptop. I have been trying to obtain the credit on my account but without success I have the original statement with the credit clearly marked. I just do not wish to purchase anything. Ordered a wardrobe which said would take up to 8 days for delivery. Waited in for the delivery after taking a day off it was meant to be delivered by 12.45 it finally arrived at 5pm!? When it arrived the driver couldn't find one of the boxes? So left us with half of the delivery, we called very "customer service" who told us they didn't know where it was and would get back to us? I have been with very for quite a few years since they took over from additions who I was with before that. When I have bought products I have usally found them to have been good quality and had not problems with the actual items only ever having to return one faulty item. I think that is pretty good. My first order was not delivered on the date i paid "next day delivery" for. Then i purchased a set of 3 bedroom furniture. 2 items were supposed to be delivered on 28 August, while the 3rd item is waiting for new stock.
