“WORST COMPANY EVER”

I am very disappointed with the customer service that has been provided by Very Customer Service. They have a no care attitude. “The worst company I have ever encountered ”

I order 3 toys from Very in Aug 2015, taking advantage of a £30 off offer. 2 arrived without any problem and I was informed of a delay on the 3rd. I logged onto my account in December to see when I could expect the item and it had been delayed again until March, some 7 months after my original order. I complained and canceled the order. “worst company ever”

Bought a fan and paid for it, 4 months later the fan broke so I phoned customer services who duly had it collected and agreed that the fan was broken, given a refund on my account and that's when the trouble started, first was told it would take 2 weeks for a cheque to be posted to me, after 1 month I phoned and was told it would take 28 days when I pointed out that it was past 28 days I was put on hold for so long I hung up. “Incompetent and untrustworthy”

I have shopped with very for years without too many issues other than the occasion item not turning up. I had a direct debit set up and everytime was good. I took a break from ordering for about four months before seeing something I wanted to get. After ordering I did not hear anything for six weeks expecting to see the direct debit payment taken. “Terrible system/customer service”

I ordered 2 wardrobes that were on sale on 2/4/16 which according to the website were In stock. I selected the 7th as my delivery date. I got a confirmation later that night saying it was sceduled for delivery and even gave me a 2 hour time slot. My order was supposed to arrive by 2.45pm and at 4pm the online tracker had not even moved to on the road so I decided to contact the courier. “Poor customer service”

Used to be good but the customer service is terrible you get through to a South African call centre wher they are completey untrained . They have know idea what they are talking about and don't understand when you try and explain , I have called 10 times now on the same problem and it is still not rectified , 30 mins on the line only to be cut off very frustrating company to deal with. Please make yourself a favor and DON'T BUY in Very. I've bought there a washer dryer which I've been waiting for 1 month - on the assigned delivery day Customer Care say that the item has been lost and the purchase would need to be cancelled and I'd need to re-order the item (whaaaat???) But it doesn't end here... 10 days later day called me for at least 20 times trying to organize the delivery of this item and today they're sending it home!!! I've been with very for a number of years now and I've always been impressed with there reasonable prices and finance deals, especially the buy now pay later which is fantastic. However today I closed my account as I found there customer service team extremely unhelpful. Worst customer service in the UK that ive ever encountered. This company will charge you twice and expect you to chase up your own refund. They will enter incorrect information on your credit report and dispute it - they will not put it right when you challenge it and prove theyre incompetant fools.They say theyll phone you back but they never will. “Customer Service pathetic”

Product price was good, only missed the delivery promise by 6 days, reasonable so far. I was charged for an installation of a gas cooker. When the gas fitter arrived he wouldn't install due to a pipe needing modification so he just left. I telephoned the Very helpline asking for a refund. The operatives are obviously somewhere like India or South Africa and extremely difficult to understand. After a very frustrating phone call they said the would pass the request to accounts. “Illegally stating 28 days to return items”

All the returns information on their website refers to the outdated sale of goods act 1979. The consumer rights act has been in force for purchases since 1st October 2015. You legally have 30 days to return any item you aren't happy with not 28. There are many other things within this act that I hope may help people fight this awful company.
