Ordered wardrobe with integral lights in sale for £389. Wardrobe arrived, paperwork said 'with lights' Paid someone to assemble wardrobe. Half way through assembly, realised no lights. Very sent me a cheaper version of wardrobe. Very customer service is an absolute joke, they are so incredibly rude and the guy that phoned me about an order was just an ignorant and insulting pig with no manners. After trying to complain to a manager I got nowhere as they will not pass any messages on but just reply how they think they will. Sad to see all the negative reviews, I can only write about my own experience. Very have excellent products at reasonable prices. They deliver to my local shop for FREE the very next day. I have returned one item, which was easy to do- just returned to the same local shop and got a receipt and then a full refund. If you buy an item that defects later (under warranty) beware as Very will insist you deal with the Manufacturer directly. I have returned the faulty DVD player and have spent in total 3 hours on the phone trying to get to the bottom of why my account has not been credited. Answers from their terrible and useless customer services include; I don't know as it should have been done, technical errors, blah blah and at 10p per minute it's cost me £18.00 in phone calls. “Poor Quality Products and Diabolical Service”

“Stay Well Clear !!!”

This has been the worst online shopping experience I have ever had the misfortune to endure. The order was declined but they never bothered informing me, it was only when I tracked the delivery I found out. “Misleading and not willing to help!”

Few months ago we bought a sofa at Very. We have chosen to pay nothing for 6 months and then pay off the sofa in full. After first month I checked the account and found that there was missed payment fee added to my account. After contacting the customer service I was told that the buy now pay in six months option wasn't checked - although this was one of the reasons why we went with very. “Misled into paying for next day delivery.”

Ordered some items on a Friday and was given the option of paying £3.95 for next day Saturday delivery. My confirmation email also showed this. Items failed to arrive until Monday (Yodel!). I asked Very to refund my delivery charge but they have repeatedly refused saying £3.95 is their standard delivery and next day delivery costs £4.95. Ordered a patio set in march. There delivery company "Arrow" rang as and confirmed a date for delivery. I took the day off work and got a voice mail at about 12pm. Ordered bedroom suite with over bed unit. Delivery date was given so arranged day off work....no delivery that day. They couldnt give explanation as to why not. Another delivery date was given and items arrived. Bought a laptop from them. needless to say its gone wrong within 5 mths. Very are not interested. We e-mailed them and recieved a reply saying they will give a full refund. phoned to confirm and now they wont entertain us and want to pass us onto toshiba ( who are as much use as chocolate teapot) Very staff are rude and unhelpfull.
