“Might be OK if things worked. Atrocious customer service.”

We received a Christmas hamper from relatives in Australia. Unfortunately one of the items had lost its lid and spilled the contents into the hamper. This could have been dealt with swiftly and easily by a simple 'phone call. Instead you're forced into a thoroughly slow, frustrating and irritating means of attempting to deal with them via the web, which is a largely useless and time consuming means of interaction. I booked two hampers to be delivered on 18th December and which was confirmed by ihamper. They did not arrive. I emailed the company on 27th December to lodge my complaint to which I received an automated reply giving details on how I could track my order on the internet. I couldn’t. I telephoned the office on 28th with an answerphone response saying I need to ring during office hours which I presumed now to be 2nd January. I rang on 2nd January asking to speak to the lady whose name was on the email to be told that I couldn’t speak to her as she was based in India. I asked for the name and email address of the Managing Director, and was told that she couldn’t let me have his email, but gave his name. I wrote a personal letter to him on 3rd January, and marked the letter personal. I had no reply by 11th so I sent a further email to the office on 12th Jan Headed in large letters ’For the personal attention of Managing Director. No reply. It is now 25th January, with no hampers and no reply so I am writing to Barclaycard Visa, The Trading Standards Office, The companies Trade Association and their local Chamber of Commerce drawing their attention to this company. I believe companies like this should not be allowed to continue in business. All companies make errors from time to time, but there is just no excuse for a blatant ignoring of those of us who have very justified complaints.
Note to iHampers. Please don’t reply to this blog in the patronising manner that you’ve replied to complaints above. I don’t want a free bouquet or an apologetic email from you unless it tells me when my hampers are being delivered and why you have refused to answer my communications

Place order on 12 dec for three hampers only one delivered. Sent several online enquiries and rang four times fobbed off each time . I would not recommend using this company, supposed to be delivered on Dec 21 (ordered on the 16th). Now January 2nd....numerous phone calls emails etc....promised call back today ....nothing....no call back. Absolutely disgusted this was a hamper for an old age pensioner for Christmas!!!!! “very poor service ”

The company I used to order the flowers were www(dot)ihampers(dot)co(dot)uk - I ordered a hamper and flowers to be delivered on the 19th December 2012. The hamper was delivered on the 14th December (great!)and the flowers were eventually delivered DEAD on the 31st December as they had been sitting at the Delivery Company's Outlet (Yodel) for almost 2 weeks!!!!!! I ordered on 01/12/12 so well in time for Xmas, to be delivered on the 7th so plenty of time and no delivery. I managed to find a number and was told it was returned on the 12th. I was assured it would be re delivered. Still no joy. I emailed and emailed and received 6 identical emails of their intention to re deliver as a gesture of good will.....what? Same as most here they promised and did not deliver even phone on christmas eve and was told that the items were on course that day and all is well , given that they were two days late at that point did not bode well they lied to me on the phone and took my money with a smile!! “No hamper, no apparent interest in finding it, no...”

I ordered two hampers to be delivered on Xmas Eve. One arrived, one didn't. I wrote to i-hampers asking where it was and they gave me a number and told me I am in a queue, as they have such a large volume of queries to deal with. They also told me NOT to contact them using this code, as this would mean losing my place in the queue! A week later, still no answer to my question, no hamper and no money back. I had a very similar experience with a delivery date of 21 December. Couldn't call them so sent them an email via their website. To date, no response, no hampers!! Their level of service is horrific, no care or any effort to resolve the problem. If they truly gave a sh*t, they should employ someone to deal with people chasing up their Xmas hampers, instrad of leaving us in the dark!

Can we take them to Consumer Affairs?

“Avoid at all costs”

Two hampers ordered for Christmas delivery, nothing delivered. Money was taken from my bank account immediately on December 17th for a December 21st delivery. Online and telephone customer service is completely useless with no response to enquiries. Not very hopeful about getting my money back but I will try.
