“Totally rubbish service”

I placed an order on October 10th. My money was immediately taken. I have emailed and tried (without any luck) to phone. This company used to be excellent but i suspect that they are in deep financial trouble and not being honest with their customers. I am going to try and get money back but i am not hopeful. “Are they still in business”

Agree with previous reviews that this business is now completely unreliable. Still waiting for an old order, for which I have paid and wouldn't buy anything else now. Tried to access the site this morning to see if there was any order update but can't even access the site now. Anyone know if this business has closed down ? Hey I met the same problem as well. They have taken my money without giving me itmes. I tried to emailed and called without any response. Do you know how to get the money back? I am using the debit card to pay! Thanks

“worst ever shopping experience”

I ordered a pair of Oliver Sweeney shoes, the money was taken from account within minutess of placing order, it has never turned up, e-mails get you an automated response with nothing to do with questions, phone number on e-mails wrong it gives you another which takes at least an hour to get through. Customer services then tell you bare faced lies saying they have not taken money which they have. I recently bought a set of cycling gear from BrandAlley in their Dare 2B sale. I got 6 cycling tops for under £70 which I was pretty pleased with! I hadn't really realised their business model, since it was my first purchase from them, so was a bit confused about the 21 day delivery time. I have purchased loads of things from this site over the last two years and with only the minor problems you would expect, but since the new website has been launched trying to buy anything is a complete nightmare. The pages take ages to load you can only view a few items at a time, then you have to reload the page with a few more. My experience exactly. Still trying to find out where my last order has gone; the daily offers arrive as if nothing is wrong, the website blog has been updated as if their world is hunky dory but something(s) clearly is very wrong indeed.

The old website worked and worked well. Now the sort function doesn't, navigation between pages is laborious, especially if one clicks on a particular item.

All fur coat and no knickers.

I used to be a loyal customer at BrandAlley, however some 3 months ago they started being sloppy and their website and Customer Service stopped working. “Understand delay but shutdown for over a month”

Hallo, I have the same experience. I still wait for my orders about 8 weeks ago, no reaction of my emails. I do not get a refund of my return... no phone lines, no email .... horrible. It started with the new site.... DO NOT BUY THERE!!!!

For customer experience on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give 1 to this most annoying new site they put up the last few weeks. Not much is working smoothly on the new site, I purchased various things from there before the change and was quite happy to also browse regularly but definitely not now. “The phones are closed! and so is the business!! ”

I ordered an Aquascutum Trench Coat at a cost of £400 from Brandalley, which was due to be dispatched by 23rd Oct I had not received an email confirming dispatch so I telephoned only to receive a voicemail saying we are struggling with IT and our phones are not working we are sorry but bear with us. Exactly the same issue for me. Ordered 3 weeks ago, ONE day dispatch on both my items. Nothing. Requested to cancel my order over a week ago and no reply from them. Sent TEN emails now and I get the same automated email PLUS the daily marketing emails which must be being sent from Harry Potter as the IT is down LOL incredible.

Do not use this company and anyone reading this that has any power (trading standards or the like) please do something about this company.

I agree - it's disgraceful! I'm in the same situation. You cannot contact them via phone anymore and my order has disappeared from their web page. They claim to have problems with their website but you can still order via the same web page! When you send an email to them you get an automated message with an obsolete phone number on it! I used to buy a lot from them but started getting more and more non-delivery issues. The discounts (which are not as large as touted) are not worth the long waits and frustration!

Having read these comments, I'm now extremely worried about 3 pending orders that have 'disappeared' from my account details. I have emailed BrandAlley twice and just receive a generic reply saying they are sorry and orders are delayed due to technical problems. I was an avid fan of BrandAlley but since they upgraded their website, I am no longer impressed. Saving grace is that I paid for the pending items on credit card so I hope to have some recourse through that. What a shame - BrandAlley used to be so good, they've now gone down the toilet!
