“disaster of an e-shop”

I used to be a loyal customer at BrandAlley, however some 3 months ago they started being sloppy and their website and Customer Service stopped working. Since September and IF you eventually hear anything back from BAlley, everything is blamed on the new website that supposedly turned their systems upside down (bravo for their UXteam and developers!). “Understand delay but shutdown for over a month”

I placed ordered from outlet and payment was immediately taken from my credit card using paypal account. Now more than a month and no sign of any delivery, account still says processing and emails are responded by we are sorry but no update is provided to any emails!! Placed my first ever order after a friend told me about the site, a dress for an event coming up very soon.... 14 - 21 days delivery now overdue and I'm getting worried. They took the money out of my account when I ordered and still no sign of the dress and I can't really afford to buy an alternative dress until I get the money back! Hallo, I have the same experience. I still wait for my orders about 8 weeks ago, no reaction of my emails. I do not get a refund of my return... no phone lines, no email .... horrible. It started with the new site.... DO NOT BUY THERE!!!!

I've used them before without problems but now its completely different and they're in completer disarray following an IT change or at least that's what I was told was the problem. For customer experience on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give 1 to this most annoying new site they put up the last few weeks. Not much is working smoothly on the new site, I purchased various things from there before the change and was quite happy to also browse regularly but definitely not now. “The phones are closed! and so is the business!! ”

I ordered an Aquascutum Trench Coat at a cost of £400 from Brandalley, which was due to be dispatched by 23rd Oct I had not received an email confirming dispatch so I telephoned only to receive a voicemail saying we are struggling with IT and our phones are not working we are sorry but bear with us. Exactly the same issue for me. Ordered 3 weeks ago, ONE day dispatch on both my items. Nothing. Requested to cancel my order over a week ago and no reply from them. Sent TEN emails now and I get the same automated email PLUS the daily marketing emails which must be being sent from Harry Potter as the IT is down LOL incredible.

Do not use this company and anyone reading this that has any power (trading standards or the like) please do something about this company.

I agree - it's disgraceful! I'm in the same situation. You cannot contact them via phone anymore and my order has disappeared from their web page. They claim to have problems with their website but you can still order via the same web page! When you send an email to them you get an automated message with an obsolete phone number on it! I used to buy a lot from them but started getting more and more non-delivery issues. The discounts (which are not as large as touted) are not worth the long waits and frustration!

Having read these comments, I'm now extremely worried about 3 pending orders that have 'disappeared' from my account details. I have emailed BrandAlley twice and just receive a generic reply saying they are sorry and orders are delayed due to technical problems. I was an avid fan of BrandAlley but since they upgraded their website, I am no longer impressed. Saving grace is that I paid for the pending items on credit card so I hope to have some recourse through that. What a shame - BrandAlley used to be so good, they've now gone down the toilet!

Ordered a blue cardigan and I was sent cream. Tried to return it and couldn't get through to customer services. Eventually told to take a photo and upload it to the brand alley website. Called customer services again to be told they didn't receive the photo, I didn't receive an apology or a reason why the wrong item was sent. “NO ITEMS ARRIVED AND THEY DENY ORDER”

I made an order over a month ago for £225 for various items. I paid by paypal and have the paypal receipt and the money has obviously gone out of my account. i have sent numerous emails and they say they cannot locate my order. “Seems to be going downhill”

Ive been shopping with brandalley for years. Whilst the order to delivery timeframe seems to be getting longer, not really had any problems until last couple of orders. This is a very poor company. The website is rubbish, and the customer experience is terrible. Ordered some products, which had a delivery date of 18 days. After the 18 days had passed, I contacted the company as I did not recoevr more order. Without any acknowledgement the order was canceled. “A company selling geniune branded items at a bargain price”

This company sells original genuine designer items. These items are overstock, not wanted returned or cancelled orders from other companies that they then get and sell on at a great reduced price.I have bought many a designer dress of Brandalley and have been at a very low price and they have all been real not fake. I have had a few items from Brand Alley, some of which I have been happy with. However, on two occasions I have ordered items which Brand Alley have taken my money and then weeks later I have had an email to say they are not available and a refund has been sent.
