    Hastings Direct Car Insurance - Claim service very bad accident happened on Saturday and as I write this on Wednesday evening my car still sits in a recovery yard and has not even reached a repair shop despite the fact I was informed that this would be dealt with first thing Monday morning

    This company are ok if you don't need to make a claim, but by my experience with them when you do need to they aren't very helpful and their communication skills need working on!!!
    I wouldn't recommend them.

    As with 3000 odd others they invoked a (unfair) clause in the contract allowing them to cancel with 7 days notice after I had been with them for over 5 months due to a pricing error! The letter was sent standard mail and I only just got back from holiday in time to deal with the fallout! No compensa ...
