    Absolutely useless company - you gets what you pays for with this one. Very attractive premiums, sales team upbeat and helpful but wait and see what happens when you have to claim.     Hastings Direct will not reply to complaints. They deducted £131.33 from my bank account without my permission and will not reply to my correspondence for the funds to be returned. I have no insurance contracts with this company and do not know WHY they are charging my bank account.

    Did not give me enough information when I rang on a Saturday. Now Tuesday, and am only just getting problem sorted - very bad as I really need a car 7 days a week at the moment.

    No help whatsoever when making a claim - I had to do all the work (phoning repairers, sorting courtesy car, contacting solicitors) and had to chase Hastings every step of the way for progress reports.
