I ordered Quadrilla Twist and Rail for my son on Thursday and it arrived promptly on Friday. The product is better than I expected, more substantial than others in the market and so many options for construction which has great play value. I have used Why Wood Works twice before and they have always delivered on time, promptly and have a great range of products. I have already recommend them to all my friends and look forward to using them again as Christmas approaches.

As my young daughter is now very much enjoying her 'animal theme', my husband and I decided to purchase a Animal Barn. We wanted a wooden one so looked around for a one that we liked. We found the Barn to be very reasonable at Why Wood Works, the website was very easy to navigate and use and the order process was easy, without glitches. And the chance to pay via paypal...always a bonus! It arrived within the stated time (and free delivery as a bonus!) The barn was easy to assemble and good quality.....PERFECT. Not sure who will enjoy it more, my daughter or my husband!

A friend recommended this site to me, and I was delighted with the whole experience! The website was very easy to use and navigate around with plenty of ideas for me to help with the birthday selection process! Delivery was as described and on time and more importantly the product description and review matched perfectly = one happy five year old daughter (marble tower!!!) After receiving the Hape All Season Wooden Dolls House a day late I found that it was missing a drill hole. I then paid someone to drill hole (didn't have right skills or tools to accurately drill without splitting the wood. I contacted Why Wood Works who were initially apologetic but then did nothing to resolve the issue. They "passed the buck" to the manufacturer and said that they would replace it. It was also for a birthday present so we could not wait to go through the whole process again and then wait for delivery. They also offered no compensation for the hassle and cost....not even a free doll.

After shopping around for a marble run set we decided on the quadrilla twist and rail set. Why wood works offered the best price plus free delivery, I ordered it that night and it was delivered just 2 days later. Very well packaged, great item, very pleased. I received notification emails every step of the order so if needed I could have checked on my delivery. Great service and I would recommend and definitely buy from them again.

On shopping around 'Why Wood Works' offered by far the most competitive price for the Calffy Cow. It's a really beautiful product, great quality and a fantatsic present. Whatsmore it was delivered on time....I can highly recommend!

I bought John Crane Transport playmate for my little boy. Fantastic price, delivery within 24 hours and a fantastic product. I ordered a Plum wooden sand pit of a certain size through Why Wood Works thinking their site looked genuine enough and they had a good rating on Google Shopping. Unfortunately, upon calling the company to order it for me, they were advised that this particular one had been discontinued! Quite wonderfully though, they managed to offer me a LARGER sand pit for the price of the smaller (quite a price difference too) as there were no middle options... I did have to check my garden was big enough for it before accepting... :) Sundae and Nathalie were extremely apologetic and helpful. You couldn't ask for better service really. Obviously, the delivery was slightly delayed because of this, but it was only a few days and well worth it!! I have yet to build the sand pit, but had a look through the box and it looks very sturdy and the wood smell is lovely... Thank you!!

Ordered a wooden balance bike at 1:55pm and it arrived at 8am the following morning. And it really was free delivery! Just fantastic as it meant I did not have to wait in all day. The bike is great too.

Cut it fine for kids xmas present & Dubiously ordered on line 3 days before xmas on last day after cut of time. Contacted on day of delivery & although could not get through on phone, my email was replied to instantly with a treking number and reassurance from Sundae. Parcel arrived, Bike is wicked, all good. Happy xmas ho ho ho x x

I bought the Rock with me Puppy rocker, which, at £72 on the whywoodworks website, seemed the cheapest online I could find. I was initially dubious as with it being Christmas soon, I know some items online may not arrive on time. However, the rocker was delivered within a couple of days and we were very impressed. On opening the box however, we realised the rocker was damaged so we called the customer services dept and were told they would send out another one for a day later. I was very dubious by this point but couldnt have been more wrong!! They were true to their word and another one arrived a day later, in perfect condition! Very impressive customer service and I will most definitely be buying from again! The rocker is fab and I have seen lots of things on their website that I know my daughter will love for her birthday in April. If you are worried about buying from here, dont be!!
