I have had my iPhone 3GS for nine months now and for me there is no going back. The memory on mine is 16GB, which is sufficient for me but you can also buy it with a 32GB memory capacity. The range of apps that you can buy is quite amazing as some of them help you in your every day life (eg. ShopShop which is used as a shopping list) whilst others include games which make sure that you are never bored.
When using the internet through a 3G connection, it is a little slower than a wifi… Read Full Review

Had this phone for 6 months now. Many great points and some not so good.
Being away from home a lot, I've found the apps really have helped enormously. Just to name a few : shopshop, scannerpro, anote, good food guide, dropbox.. These have all saved me carrying additional bits of hardware or books. Apps on their own make the iphone a must have accessory for me.
Phone functions are average. Battery life is awful if you use apps a lot like I do, so I make sure I can charge it regularly… Read Full Review

I'd had a number of friends who's had iPhones for some time and, having listened to them wax lyrical about how the iPhone was the best thing since sliced bread, bought one as soon as it became available on my chosen network (Orange) and, in many ways, boy do I wish I hadn't bothered!
There's no denying that the iPhone design is cool. The device is sleek, stylish and the user interface is simple & intuitive. The big let down is that, frankly it's a bit of a jack of all trades rather than… Read Full Review

I got my Apple iPhone last year and I've really enjoyed it. I love the apps and have really gotten attached to the ones I've uploaded to mine. You can get balances on your credit cards, bank account, keep up with Twitter, Facebook, play Uno, Texas Hold 'Em AND take great pictures and videos... all in this little device. Mine has held up well. No scratches or anything. The screen has to be cleaned pretty frequently, but I like that it's glass, it's a much clearer view I think. I have had a… Read Full Review

The Iphone is the type of phone that is marveled by many class' and ages. It's capability is astounding with an easy text service, easy email access, and thousands of useful and pointless apps to be downloaded of the convenient square-"The App Store". Yet, among the many strengths, including internet and it's superior connectivity, there are weakness' such as the App's can crash causing the screen to return to the first page of Apps. Another thing is that you can't get rid of stuff such as the… Read Full Review

Seems like there's no turning back once you've started using Apple iPhone. I had a 2G before and I've recently upgraded to 3Gs. I'd recommend an upgrade for 3 major reasons:
1. Email -- I don't stay in the office most of the time and the email feature is very important to me. 3Gs downloads email much faster and works much better with the push features.
2. Map -- It can locate where I'm and can give me driving direction. It's basically a GPS and I can't go anywhere without a GPS!

The iPhone is a device that will divide people for sure; excellent application support and tons of application for you to use - however the cost can be slightly prohibitive and the contract lengths by which you have sign up for in the UK are a little excessive. Overall and excellent piece of kit - finance apart!… Read Full Review

Before the iPhone I never used anything but a Nokia. I hesitated for a while but it is true that once you have the iPhone it becomes your communication hub. The key points for me are its reliability (I have not had a single crash), accuracy and responsiveness of the touch-screen (even with my broad fingers), easier than I thought to carry in the pocket and its simplicity. Only downside is battery life but charging every night is a small price to pay for having a mobile office in your pocket. No… Read Full Review

Just upgraded to a 3Gs 32GB Apple iPhone from a 2G 16GB iPhone primarily because I ran out of memory. I'd also experienced problems with the network (O2) and thought a switch to 3G might fix it. Stupid me really! I am in Bucks on the Berkshire border near to Slough and I seem to get 3G about 10% of the time so it's not much use to me at home. We'll see how it works out on the move but I suspect it is usage not coverage that's the problem. Too many kids downloading cr@p. The processor is… Read Full Review

I am now on the Apple iPhone 3GS and had this one on the Orange Network. I had my 3G on the O2 network. They did me a fantastic deal and although I had to pay for my phone, I managed to get the same amount as Bill Credit and I kept my loyalty discount and text bundle for nothing... So for £28 per month, it works out cheaper than 02 plus I now get coverage at home, but patchy in the office.
The phone is a hell of a lot quicker than the 3G, and where I would wait a few seconds for it to do… Read Full Review

I love my iPhone. It works well and there are some great apps that I use: some daily, many regularly.
The cons are:
- the cost. But what do you expect from Apple?
- the O2 coverage is variable - not the phone's fault
- the battery life, which is dismal. It's not a big problem for me because 90% of the time I work at client sites with my MacBook Pro able to keep the phone topped up, but for anyone using the iPhone a lot on the move during the day extra juice would be needed… Read Full Review
