Coast is the worst company I have ever ordered online with. It's absolutely diabolical. I am still waiting for a refund that goes back to January this year for over £200! I placed an order in January this year and returned the items through Royal Mail promptly (I have proof of return). It took forever for Coast to acknowledge my return but I did eventually receive an email telling me it had received the goods and it would make the refund. I waited for my refund but it never came. In the meantime I was taken seriously ill into hospital and my recovery has taken months. Last month whilst checking over my accounts for the year I realised that they never did refund my money. I contacted customer services and they replied promptly and apologised and assured me that I would receive a refund. This was coming up a month ago. Still no refund has arrived. I have contacted customer services several times and they have responded quickly and promised me it would arrive in my PayPal within a few days. I now contact them daily but no longer receive a response. All my emails are ignored and they owe me over £200. It's been a year in January since the order and they still have my money. It's shocking that a high street brand such as Coast can be so appalling to it's customers. I will never ever purchase from them online or instore ever again.

I am extremely disappointed. I ordered the Fleur 3d dress in two colours because it was that gorgeous. It was pricey but I thought it was beautiful. Well I ordered the dresses in a size 8 and they were so tight on the arms I couldn't bend down. I thought I just needed to size up so I ordered the same dresses in a size 10 just to be sure. Tried them on, and the same problem. So tight on the shoulders and the sleeves - just horrendous. But slightly to loose in waist so obviously the wrong size. I sent them all back, all 4 dresses. The people making these have no idea how to sew. Who needs a dress you can move around in? Ridiculous. And the patterns aren't cut right, they should have had the common sense to use the flowers embroidered on the fabric to do waist, not create that horrible juxtaposed waist the dresses have where the pattern doesn't flow at all. Overall far to expensive to be extremely awkward to wear. The dresses are to tight to get on and off and to uncomfortable to move in. And to top it of, coast have the audacity to charge £2 for returns! The cheek. If other companies have free returns why don't coast? I'm not impressed at all and I don't think I will be ordering from coast again.

Coast have some lovely dresses, the drown side is the stitching and the finish is absolutely poor. I have been buying coast skirts and tops for twenty years. The last dress I bought was beautiful, a lovely design and the material was really. But the finish was poor, I thought it must be a reject. The zip could not go up past the bulky material. The stitching overlapping and the stitching on hem was so poor, almost zig zag. Vast improvement on finish and heming. Overall they have some really nice dresses, word of advice go back the traditional way overlapping the hems and no stitching showing. Nice dresses deserve a good standard of finish

There is no way to get in touch with these people but by message. They take ages to reply and it’s always a diffident person. One month ago I have placed an order for over £230 I payed for next day delivery only to arrive 4 days later. The items were for a wedding abroad and I have ordered it 2 days before my departure but it was impossible to get hold of my items as they were with Evri delivery company. As I knew that I wasn’t going to be at home I’ve diverted the parcel to a neighbour. I’ve arrived home after the wedding and the parcel was left outside my door for two days and two nights strait. I’ve returned the items the next day as I arrived home. Almost one month since I’ve placed this next day delivery order and I still don’t have my money back. By the way the company received my items already, 5 days ago. They haven’t even offered me to refund the amount for the next day delivery charge. I had to ask for it back.Never mind a compensation for wasting my time and patience. Now I’m hoping they are not going to charge me for the return postage. It’s been such a waste of time and energy with these people and I don’t recommend you buy from them. I will never purchase from Coast fashion retailer again. Very disappointed with your service !

Button placed directly next to the button hole, apparently they gave a 6 month policy for correcting faulty items. If only they checked it before sending it to customers. Multiple orders were placed, some items were no longer available and cancelled. Highly annoying as I'd already purchased these items. Returns are not processed in a timely manner. Multiple Customer services agents respond to the same complaint without reading previous emails and expect their clients to do all their work, they are not able to locate email addresses, contact details etc unless it's handed over on a plate. Furthermore, a factory fault on an item is being ignored. Clearly their quality assurance checks are substandard and Customer service process non existent.

Really bad returns service, I purchased some dresses on 23/5/2020 And returned them the next day despite several email requests for a refund, you seem to lag and drag your heels but was quick enough to take payment and sent the items out. After an exhaustive email today 28/06/20 you have finally agreed to refund my own monies after 29 days, ridiculous.... If you don’t buck up your customers services you will be taken over for your failings other companies out there are meeting the demands. I will not be purchasing from you again. If there was a nil rating, that was you deserve.

The quality of their clothing is very poor and tacky, It's nothing compared to the old Coast. Also over priced for horrible quality. I'll advice you stay away.

I bought a ddress and a top from coast. Tried playing with a foreign debit card but payment was refused due to the card being from a different country. I then tried to pay again using PayPal. This time the order was successful and I will send a confirmation email with the confirmation number. However as I checked out as a guest there is no way of tracking my order. I paid extra 4.99 for Saturday delivery but seven days on I still haven't received my order. I have neither received an order nor an email from the courier. The clothes were meant for a special occasion and they're not cheap, and I am absolutely apalled at such a service. I have tried to find a contact number for coast but the only thing you can find is a contact form or an email address. I have sent them my complaint via the contact form and received a confirmation email that they have received my complaint and will reply to me in 12 working hours. However, having read some of the reviews here I am having my doubts as the money has already been charged by PayPal and I will now have to file for a refund. I have always thought of coast as a good quality clothes store with a high level of service on goods, however, their customer service is nonexistent to say the least. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have recieved from my first ever shopping experience with COAST. After having found a dress online, and checking out successfully with my order placed on Friday I received an email on Sunday regarding the cancellation of the order due to the popularity of the product. Not only did I have to wait TWO DAYS after my order to receive this information, I also got an insincere apology which has given me no other options and left me disappointed. The skirt and top I ordered were: LEAH JACQUARD HI LOW SKIRT/VIERA BARDOT TOP in Size 10. I needed these items for a very special occasion this week and I am frustrated and very sad that I will now have to go somewhere else to find an alternative. If an item is sold out in a certain size it should be stated on your website to avoid disappointing and aggravating your customers. This experience has left me distrusting COAST and I I would not recommend shopping at your store to anyone.

I ordered a skirt, sequined top and earrings for a special occasion. I used the Click and Collect service. The top (which was £119 alone) and earrings arrived and I duly collected them from the store. I asked the assistant whether I would be informed when the skirt was ready and she assured me that I would. I was sent a Customer Survey form to complete about my shopping experience to date. I commented on the form that my skirt had not arrived and in addition that I had not been informed as to the delay. Later in the day, I received a reply saying that the skirt was not now available and that I would receive a refund. I sent a reply to them saying I was very unhappy about the whole situation and requested that they at least offer me a suitable replacement. at the same price. What was the reply? You can guess. I'm left with a useless incomplete outfit. What a totally shabby and unprofessional company Coast is. Do Coast know the meaning of Customer Service, or Goodwill?

My order was cancelled by them because I am an expatriate and I live in one country (Mexico) and like most expats, all my fininancial accounts including credit cards are in another.(Australia). They did not advise the order was cancelled (claimsed it was done by a third party security and they didnt know! - how ludicrous! aI was left wondering why I had heard nothing about the order for my WEDDING DRESS!! After that they advised if I wanted to order again, I would have to have it delivered to my card address. As if I would ever order from these idiots again!

I will never ever order from Coast again I purchased an item for a large amount; I checked my bank and it showed 2 payments pending to be taken; I contacted my bank who confirmed this they even gave me the 2 authorisation codes for the payment. I emailed as you can't speak to a customer service agent; an automatic e-mail returned saying they would contact me in 3 day. I received a request asking for a contact number they could call me on 3 days on 6 more e-mails and still no call. I did notice that the order goes through a company called Aurora Fashions. I am now in contact with the Police; also Trading Standards and the Ombudsmen.

I have placed an order online for over £380 worth of goods 7 days ago - I still have no idea where my order is. There is no phone number to call. Emails are not answered for 3 days. They even sent me an email telling my order was going to an address I had never heard of!!! I still don't know if the order is on its way to me or to this other unknown address!! NEVER EVER AGAIN WIL I ORDER FROM COAST!!

The service I received in a coast store a few weeks ago was appalling the lady who served me was rude very unhelpful and made me feel very embarrassed in store coast needs to look at other retailers and focus on what good customer service looks like I am completely in shock at the lack of enthusiasm and respect they had many of my family and friends shop at Coast because of this behaviour they have lost many regular custom coast service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Under no circumstances buy anything from this . They took money from my card, never sent any confirmation of purchase. I started investigation with my bank and a month later I received some crappy dress worth £1 maximum. DON NOT USE THIS WEB SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I placed an order with Coast online 10days ago and they took the money for my order twice, I have sent 3 emails to bring this to their attention (btw this is there only point of contact) which none have been acknowledged, no confirmation of me sending them and I have had no reply to any of them, they've basically stole money from me. I have since received my original order which some of it has been returned and refunded but they still have the extra full amount I paid twice. I'm so angry and frustrated as to how I'm going to get my money back that I'm sure on one thing I won't be using them ever again!!!!! Btw i really wNted to give no stars but couldn't.

Charged three times for a dress I ordered, following two (what I thought were) failed attempts to pay, meaning three payments were pending to leave my account which I had not budgeted for! It's now 3 days later the payment hasn't been accepted yet, let alone the dress being dispatched. I'm not able to cancel the online order (ridiculous) and I've ended up buying the same dress in store as there is no way it will arrive in time for the event I need it for. I will now need to go back in store and return the dress, although i have no idea when it will arrive. Terrible service, frustratingly slow and unacceptable that there's no phone line to talk to a real person. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I recently wore a dress from Coast, which was bought over two years ago and didn't belong to me. I happened to lose the attached flower corsage and, since I was borrowing the dress from someone else, I quickly contacted Coast to see if there was some way I could purchase another one. My email was answered almost instantly, and within a few days the Coast representative had located a new flower and had it shipped to me, completely free of charge. I'm very impressed with the incredible service and would recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality clothing.

I am gay /T girl and i love cross dressing in special occasions I love a nice gown in coast birmingham for a friends birthday party usually im sure of my size i dont but to make sure i got exact size wanted to fit but the shop keeper refused to allow me to use the dressing room because she said its the shop policy not to . I felt bad coz i felt i was descriminated for who i am but i still bought the dress coz i really like it even if i was not sure will fit it . Hope changes will be made to cater custumer like us

Despite numerous contact emails over the past couple of weeks, it is impossible to get anything but an automated response. I am also waiting for a refund for goods returned and not getting any kind of positive response. From this experience and the comments already posted, I would not use Coast online again or recommend to anyone else thinking of doing so. Coast - you need to up your game - considerably!

I have recently experienced the same issue!! I purchased a different item online and was told my order was cancelled due to popularity of the dress. However, when I checked online my size in the dress, was still available. Customer service was extremely poor in relation to solving this issue!!
