“Unbelievable terrible service, not sure how they survive!”

I'm a 36 year old man and I ordered a flintoff jacket and shirt. What I got was a womans size 36 bra and dress. I rang them up they apologised and said they would get the jacket sent back out but the shirt was now out of stock!!!!!! They sent a courier to me to collect the the bra and dress. “Jacamo will damage your credit rating”

Take a serious thought before setting up an account with this lot. I had an account for about a year. I ordered goods paid for them in full when my statement turned up and everything was ok at first. Last month I decided to take a holiday so I paid my Jacamo account early with a minimum payment plus extra to cover the next months payment in case I spent too much on Holiday. “FRAUDULENT”

They have created me an account when I have not ordered anything. Also they told me that they had checked me out on credit agencies on delivery address not on the billing address, that they had and even though after two months they removed their credit search from my credit report, a further month later they have put on 5 late payments, making my credit report into poor. “sale of goods act 1979”

Do not sign up with this company unless you have no other choice. I purchased a 32inch tv seven months ago which has become faulty. They have told me they will take it away for 7 days for repair. I am not prepared to wait 7 days so i asked for an exchange or refund they told me this is not there policy. After obtaining legal advice under the sale of goods act 1979 they must exchange or refund my account, but they have decided this law doesnt include them. “2nd order, 2nd time they have lost returns”

My previous order was for about 8 items, I returned all bar 1 or 2 items and in the note i stated the coat and jacket were to small. Now they updated the website that all had been returned except the jacket and coat. Then they sent out larger sizes, which I found kinda odd as I didn't really request them, I just put the reason why they were being sent back. “I did not order this itim.”

I received a mans belt in the post from Jacamo which I did nor order. I had not even heard of this company. Then two weeks later I received a credit account statement with a £3.99 delivery charge? I don't do credit and certainly would not pay this price for it to be delivered. Surely any credit agreement requires a contract and signature? Is this a clever scam or fraud? “My first order with them left me promising to never...”

Placed my order at 6.00am on a Wednesday with next day delivery, it didnt arrived the next day after taking the day off work so I had to take another day off work to accept the delivery on Friday. “Suit delivered to outbuilding !!!! I have not got one”

I ordered my suit and payed for next day delivery 11 days ago. I keep getting told that the suit was delivered to an outbuilding on the 2nd of October. Its now the 10th of October and I am not being listened to. “THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!”

We had to stop dealing with Jacamo because we were getting angry letters about unpaid bills with late payment penalties added. I rang them and they said they had sent me five different invoices which I had REFUSED to pay. This was not so. We paid them off anyway. We tried again a couple of months later and had exactly the same response. A huge bill for a couple of cheap items. We paid them off and will never deal with them again.

Hi, I am absolutely shocked at the attitude of this crowd. I have basically been tricked into having an account with them...I never ever use credit with online purchases in this way. I pay for everything on the spot by debit card. Now they write saying I owe them charges for this and that...I am determined not to pay anything but what I owe them.

Have any of you taken this further? I would be very interested to hear your advice about what I should do. Thank you

It's not that easy to take things further. You order goods, they arrive, you open the package and use the items. Weeks later a letter arrives from Jacamo saying that you are being charged for non payment with added late fees. You telephone them to protest. They swear you have been sent at least five reminders which you have deliberately ignored. You, of course, have no proof that these letters have NOT arrived. They then threaten to sue you with added court fees. You have no recourse but to pay the, now huge, amount as you have no proof of your innocence. But, of course, you never use them again.

“Poor customer service”

Used my 10% discount on my first order despite me returning it as it had a stain on the jacket, so they then wouldn't give me another discount on my next order even though I hadn't technically used it which I thought was a bit unfair. The helpline wasnt much help as the lady sounded on the verge of suicide. I still got charged the delivery fee even though my first order was faulty. “Restocking fee”

“Fraud at Jacamo”

Someone used my details to set up a fraudelent account. On receipt of a statement I challenged the statement. Customer services what sutomer services?? basically told me I was the 10th person that day. I explained I did not receive any items, the customer services assistant told be that I had signed for it.. but I was at work.. not interested and to forget it. I have the same problem. Never registered an account with them, but received a small parcel. I called customer service straight away, they promised to close the account (someone used my details) and put a flag on my address. There was smth else ordered on my name as well, the customer service promised to cancel the orders, The smail parcel was collected by a courier later.
One month later I receive a statement that I have to pay £140 for the goods I never ordered!
Called customer service again, they could not do anything about it, fraud department will give me a call on Monday.
Now I am writing a complaint and I will send it by recorded delivery on Monday.

Hi there, I would be interested to hear how you are getting on with these people. They are trying all sorts of tricks to get money out of me by tricking me into having an account with them which I do not have. I pay for everything on the spot by card and do not use such credit systems.

i recently ordered 6 rolls of wallpaper and as i am on a low income decided to accept spread payments. however on my first statement saw a £6.99 monthly credit charge. As my payments are only 9.50 a month that means only just over £2 is actually going to what i owe. “Misleading and Poor Customer Service.”

Most items do not have model numbers example laptops you dont know what you buying. Also charge delivery fee saying nxt day delivery where never happens. “EXPENSIVE TAT”
