The Hunter 220 is one of the best rifles I have ever known... the accuracy, the power and the built of the gun is just shocking... I own a Hunter 1250 and it is too powerful, I went hunting with it couple of times and it was a big loss... The Hunter 220 is almost as powerful as H-1250, it is a great ...

The Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 is a good rifle if you want to put it on the shelf, but it is a very terrible rifle to go hunting with... I was shooting everything with it... the scope gets off sight every couple of shots... The rubber bearing of seals on the barrel are very bad too... if you can sho ...

First off I would like to say the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 lives up to its 1000fps and more with certain pellets. With daisy wad cutter this rifle was blasting through the speed trap (chronograph) at 1050fps! after just 500 rounds. However due to heavy recoil it took quite some time to get the han ...

The Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 was not a great buy at $170. Gamo online says send it back pay $10 and shipping from CA to FL. Apparently no west coast reps. It won't shoot a 4 shot 4" group with the scope (BSA) and is a little better without it. This is from a bench rest with sand bags.

Just got the Hunter 220 Combo a few days ago on sale at Sports Auth for $150. Out of the box gun sites were right on target. Put the BSA scope on and had it sited in 15 mins. This rifle shoots dead on target shot after shot. Even my 10 year old consistently hits bullseye at 30 feet. This purchase ...

Ratings were based on each rating system, Gave my Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 an overall 8 Stars because of the Cocking Bar breaking on it. At moment I am in the process of buying myself a Webley Scott Patriot, much more powerful hunting rifle, specialy in .25 caliber.
I'm not dogging Gamo but think ...

I first bought my Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 caliber combo from the sports authority, and the first one had a frayed rubber seal (around where you load the pellet), so I returned it after firing a couple shots. The first gun handled and fired like a Shadow 1000, same recoil, same power, same accura ...

Ok... by the sound of some of these bad reviews, it sounds like people dont have any patience. The Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 will smooth out after 500 - 1500 shots. This is standard spring air gun stuff. The twang of the spring will get less, the barrel will pull straight and everything will co ...

If you have ever shot a Beeman or RWS spring piston air rifle and are looking for the same accuracy and quality you will want to pass on this one. I tried 6 different kinds of pellets-including pellets that shot well in my RWS model 36 like the Crosman Premier- and I did get some decent groups up cl ...

I have found that firing the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 from a bench rest that it will group at 2 inches at 100 feet. Heavy pellets such as the Beeman Sivler arrow help hold accuracy at 100 feet. Lighter pellets will give a longer range and have 6 inches less drop at 100 feet. Accuracy of the light ...
