I orginally wrote a bad review on the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 Air Rifle. I'd had this gun for over 2 years and never got good accuracy out of it...not even acceptable accuracy.
I was ready to throw it in the trash. Well, I'll own up to one mistake with my review. I was using improper mounts o ...

I have read some negative reviews about the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177, and it's hard for me to believe that those people are writing about the same gun that I own. I got the Gamo 220 combo .177 around 15 months ago. Just a few weeks ago, I contacted Gamo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I told them that ...

    Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177:
Bad points are easily fixable. Remove one of two
trigger springs makes the trigger very easy to pull. Put a longer stage adjustment screw in trigger. Travel is now perfect. Spring lube on the main spring takes care of the twang. Should know how to slightly modify anythi ...

I've had my .177 Gamo 220 Hunter Combo now for about 2 years. I keep hoping once it 'breaks in' it will shoot accurately. I guess after 2 years, this just isn't going to happen. I didn't return it right off the bat because I know you must give springers a chance to break in. 2 years later....
    Power ...

I had this gun for at least 5 days and I just sighted it in yesterday; it's in the 10 ring every time. I was shooting at 25 yards; it does pretty well at 50 yards also. This is an overall great hunting gun. It's good for chipmunks, squirrels rabbits and pigeons. I got my Gamo at Gander Mountain for ...

I just bought the Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 and attempted to sight it in. I am very! disappointed in the accuracy. It just will not hold a decent group. For shooting something as large as a rabbit it will be Ok up to about 15 yards, but if you want to shoot anything smaller you better spend a lo ...

Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 - I got this gun as a birthday present and at first it was appealing because of the speed but when I tried to sight it in it wouldn't hold zero. The trigger is repugnant and accuracy with the standard sights just do an ok job at short ranges. It is plain old junk.

    Gidday.

I bought a Game 220 Hunter Combo a couple of weeks ago for my oldest (12 year old) son& I to use to practice prone, sitting and standing shooting skills (as we have started going to an outdoor .22lr silhouette range).
I paid NZ$299 for it. I put three rounds through it at the Petone Hun ...

Ok this Gamo 220 Hunter Combo .177 Air Rifle is my first spring air gun and i think it is a great gun, for a kid like me it is extremly accurate for me and my brother and my dad shoots great with it too. My first shot with it went straight through a 5/8 in. thick piece of plywood and it sounded much ...

The Hunter 220 is one of the best rifles I have ever known... the accuracy, the power and the built of the gun is just shocking... I own a Hunter 1250 and it is too powerful, I went hunting with it couple of times and it was a big loss... The Hunter 220 is almost as powerful as H-1250, it is a great ...
