The Neapolitan Riviera enjoys excellent public transport enabling holiday makers to visit local sights cheaply and easily, e.g. Pompeii, Capri and Positano. Thomson reps would only talk of public transport when asked direct questions.

On arrival at Palma, I thought the Thomson Reps were very unhelpful, no reps attended at Delfin Azul Alcudia or advised that we would have to get our own transfer to Hotel Presedente in Alcanada on arrival or departure.

We decided that we wanted a summer holiday abroad this year and picked up a Thomson Brochure. Thomson are a well known holiday operator and has been operating for as long as I can remember. Since they opened a Lunn Poly near us we have been picking up their brochures instead of the usual JMC ones.

Visited Cala d'Or, Mallorca in June 2003. Overall Thomsons performed acceptably well. The prices for the holiday we chose were competative and the brochure offered the hotel we wanted to stay at. We booked through a local travel agent and included Thomsons car hire for two weeks in our package.
