I have tried six times, at least, to order the Edwardian Advent Calendar for family and friends. I sign in. I enter the recipient information and the number of copies. I press and orange button which says Continue and in small print to method of payment. The site takes me to another page where I have to log in again. Then it refuses to accept my log-in. “Jackie Lawson Edwardian Advent calendar”

I've given Jacquie Lawson Advent calendars to family and friends for the last three years. Although some have worked, most haven't. My computer configuration is more than adequate but I've not yet managed to get an Advent calendar installed. The helpdesk seems to be staffed by non-English speakers (despite the English-sounding names) who seem incapable of reading my queries and simply respond with cut and pasted paragraphs from the help pages. “Problems with site and no way to contact them. ”

they don't list a phone number, and I have tried e-mail for over a month, with just automatic replies from them saying they would contact me and they never do. can't login to the site which I have another year and 3 months already paid. Same here. They got my subscription for 2 years from my bank account 3 weeks ago and now refuse to acknowledge my subscription. I have sent 3 messages and I am still waiting for an answer.No contact possible, no phone number, no address, no courtesy and soon it will be no business with me.

You`ve probably done this in which case I apologise but keep on emailing and threaten them as I did when my advent calendar wouldn`t work. I told them I would contact bbc consumer programme (which I will) and broadcast this on London radio which I will if the opportunity arises. They refunded my money.

“Unique and Joyful”

I've been a member JL for what seems like forever :-) I continue to be amazed at the depth and breadth of the wonderful animated cards for all seasons and reasons. Obviously as a world wide Global phenomenon, there will be issues. But remember JL is a small mostly family and friends run business - not a huge conglomerate with endless staff. Yes I agree with all of what you are saying. I have been a member for ages too, and the last two years I downloaded their Advent Calendar with no probs whatsoever; however, just recently someone sent me The Circus, which wouldnt install, and I have just bought the Edwardian Advent Calendar and really looking forward to it, tried, repeatedly to install it, to no avail, have tried everything, the same error message keeps coming up! So although I do agree that overall the company is good and the cards amazing, it would seem that there are an awful lot of people out there who are very disgruntled!!

The cards are tastefully and beautifully made . I usually get a landline to say 'Thanks very much ' from recipients . I appreciate their contacts as I am elderly Her artists must be special people to produce first class cards covering many celebrations. “Catch 22”

I used to enjoy the convenience of sending Jacqui Lawson cards, so after having a one year subscription I decided to next get a two year one. This was fine for the first year and three months but then suddenly the site would not accept my Password. When I tried to re-set a new password a message appeared saying that I was NOT a member (even though I still had 9months balance left). Some of Jacquie Lawson cards are very good particularly their Christmas cards but try to get a St. George's Day card and you are out of luck though they do plenty of St Patrick Day cards and all sorts of cards for American Independence and all the other events America celebrate. “HOPELESS”

I was a member of JacquieLawson.com and was very happy but when the time came to renew they took payment from me in US dollars when I have a UK Bank account and my bank obviously charged me for converting the transaction from Dollars to GBP Sterling. I emailed and complained got the money refunded but in Dollars so my bank charged me AGAIN. “Paid for two gift memberships, neither have been received!”

“Clean Up your Act !”

I signed onto Jacquie Lawson Last Xmas. Things were going fine for me. However several cards were not being picked up because people could not download them. Then a friend told me that the site caused so much havoc to his computer that it took him 2 hours to get rid of it. Since then I have had nothing but problems myself. The site is easy to use, delivery can be delayed, addresses are easy to import, and you can review your history. New designs come out regularly. “do not sign up!”

I just signed up to this site and I have a mess on my computer! I have not even used this card company YET, they will not respond to customer service or to any unsubscribe site! All they did was take my money and now I have a computer that will not respond to anyting. It is a sham and a shame as I did recieve a nice card from a friend. “Unauthorized charges to account.”

I cancelled my service at the end of 2011. On December 26 a renewal membership fee was charged to my credit card THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. There is no way to contact Lawson's customer service which is probably off shore anyway but I ought to charge them for my time in attempting to resolve this issue with my credit card company. “No customer service”

My visa card indicated I had paid. Their website indicated membership cancelled as not paid. 83mails to them and no reply except for automated that they would reply in 48 hours or less.
