Booked through Qwerty after seeing a deal on Travelzoo. Must admit I booked the deal after checking the hotel reviews, did not think to check the travel company. Was a bit apprehensive, but have just returned from a great holiday in Cyprus. Had to prod them to send me the holiday information as it had not been emailed to me 7 days before flying as advised, but other than that it was fine. First things first, this company is so bad they do not even deserve a star rating. In June of this year, I booked a holiday for my boyfriend and I to depart on the 19th of October. We were both very excited, so when the day came (the 18th) before we were set to go, I recieved a phone call stating that our holiday had to be cancelled. booked a 5 star hotel to rhodes promised by qwerty travel a 50sq room and a seaview got to the hotel qiven the worst room on the complex, 30 sq complained to reception and was told that was the room booked by the agent,we were classed as independant travellers, what qwerty travel do is book your flights and hotel seperate which you could do yourselves and cheaper found the admin staff extremely rude very happy to take your hard earned money would never ever use them again… Read Full Review

This agency is only interested in receiving your money and then they don't send you the vouchers, the don't reply to e-mails and they don't answer the phone, eventually I waited 11 minutes for someone to answer the phone and was greeted by an awful attitude and made to feel that I was a real bother. I'm hoping the holiday is going to be okay (leaving tomorrow). I recently booked a holiday through Qwerty travel, when making the booking i asked if transferes were included i was told no, but i was told the hotel was about 20 minitues away from the central bus station in venice so should be no problem walking there. Hi, I also could not beleive the rude attitude I received, after reading the reviews on here I cannot beleive she is still employed by them,when I told her I had spoken to consumef direct for advice she said " they don't know what they are talking about and that she was 'an expert jn travel law' really how arrogant can you get, she does not listen to you and even though I pointed out on several occasions that the mistakes made were hers she has never apologised. She desperately needs some customer service training.

I stumbled upon this travel agent(Qwerty Travel) through a comparison web site, and as it was a very last minute holiday for three people I rang them up, explained exactly what I wanted and asked for an all in price (flights, transfers etc) After only a few minutes Ben rang back with an acceptable price and so I booked. I have carried out more research regarding qwerty travel, and their standard 'rip-off' is to 'up-grade' your flight (and room apparently).
The 'manager' Samantha, seems to take great delight in verbally trying to talk you round...even though my account was debited by £24 and no explanation whatsoever!
An absolute JOKE.
I will never use this company again.

I have looked into the matters you have mentioned and have found that the £24 you were charged was for the online web booking fee from Ryanair which was our error and as soon as this was drawn to our attention, we refunded the amount. Unfortunately refunds can take 3-5 days to work through the banking system.
I believe your Guinness Tour was booked but you hadn’t initially received confirmation confirming this – again this was something that Samantha re-assured you of when she spoke to you.
The flight times and airline that you booked and agreed to were different to those advertised on this deal, hence the price difference and the booking was confirmed only after you agreed to price.
Whilst I appreciate errors were made in terms of admin, I can assure you that nothing untoward went on and I also understand from Samantha that you were re-assured once all was confirmed.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Side, Turkey sourced by Jamie Adams. We gave him our budget and holiday requirements for a party of eleven and he came up trumps. If only we had found this review site before making the mistake of using Qwerty Travel. We checked directly with the hotel booked for our stay in Crete to find it is closed. The alternative Qwerty offered to us does not meet the criteria on which we made our choice. Qwerty claim we are only entitled to receive refund for the accommodation,not flights a significant loss yet they have sold us a package holiday… Read Full Review

Don't book with this company!!! You will be misled. We have just booked a holiday to Kos through Qwerty Travel, it was advertised on Travel Zoo and seemed a really good deal. The booking was made by phone - BIG MISTAKE, it was a con. The holiday was advertised at £259 per person, a saving of £200 each. Not so, the total cost was £647. I recently booked a 4 nights holiday in Cyprus through Qwerty Travel. Everything was fine. I flew Eastjet from Bristol without any mishaps. I was met at rhe airport and transfered to my hotel with no problems whatsoever. The Hotel (MONIATIS) was clean, the staff very helpful and the food was excellent. I have just booked a fortnight's holiday to Alanya for the Easter holiday period. This was off the Icelolly.com website via Travelwasp.
I can't comment about the holiday yet, but I have already been mislead over the phone. I dealt with 'Will' for my booking who told me on more than one occasion (as I questioned it) that the FlyThomasCook cabin baggage allowance is 10kg per person. I had actually booked through a company called Travel Wasp - which I only discovered afterwards was a trading name for Qwerty. When I read all the negative reviews on this site I was very worried. Wow I'm pleased for this customer as I have had the most horrendous time with Qwerty Travel and Meds Hotel. Qwerty Travel are arragant and completely devoid of responsibilty . I personally wouldn't book anything with them ever again. What this episode has done for me is show us consumers there is no body protecting us from rip off companies.

i booked a holiday with this company back in May for five people due to the failure of kiss I was contacted the very same day by qwerty which i found quite impressive knowing how many people were affected. I should have known it was too good to be true. When i originally booked my holiday i paid extra to upgrade my rooms as i am travelling with a disabled person we needed to be in the main building of the hotel.
