“No customer service levels at all”

I tried to make a booking and no confirmation was sent. First thing I knew about the reservation was the money for it being taken from my credit card. Hotel, quite rightly were entitled to the money, however when I took up the matter of no confirmation was sent, booking.com shunned any responsibility and would not even meet half way. In addition to receiving notification on the device you used when making a booking that it was complete a confirmation is also sent to the email address provided during the booking process for your records. “price misrepresentation”

I booked aroom in va beach va for 2 nights for $59.00 per night. when I checked in it was $182.50 for 2 nights.. what a shock. I had traveled a good distance so I had to pay it. don't use booking.com . there are more honest booking companys out there… Read Full Review

You also receive a confirmed confirmation via email of the rate you will need to pay once the booking is completed. “Old but very hospitable and cheap”

I stayed at Tiab House Hotel in Dokki, Cairo for 4 nights, April 2014. it was a temporary short stay due to lack of cash, having moved from another hotel close by as the Tiab was alot cheaper. The hotel is old and in need of an uplift, very basic and looks very tired. I'm sorry to hear about this. Booking.com does state the price of rooms correctly on the website. Anything quoted on the website must be charged by the hotel as the price on the website is the price the hotel's would like to advertise and rates are handled by them. In regards to your review sometimes it can take a few days for your review to be posted on the website. This review must be about the quality of the hotel and the room you were given. Regarding the Customer Service Questionnaire, this questionnaire is sent to you by email after speaking to a Booking.com agent over the phone. I have just received my money. Exactly 1!!!!!! month after I cancelled the booking. The hotel missed to cancel it and they kept holding the money. Nasty business. They kept lying to me telling loads of nonsense, but eventually I was right. They kept the money and never cancelled holding it.

On the other hand, booking.com only assisted them and never helped me. Booking.com never contacted them until I had sent a few messages showing how dissatisfied I was. This was my last ever booking with you guys. You are not a trustworthy website. You dont deserve the people's hard-earned money. Thanks

“Do not use it, just call the hotel!!”

I've been using Booking.com many times untill they told me they charge a lot the hotel on your reservation, up to 20%, VAT excluded, so owners have to raise theprice to earn the same money. Unfortunately they cannot even give you the room for a lower price, otherwise, if Booking.com finds it out, they would cancel the hotel from their network. “Good Price for Accommodation and Service”

The Managers were very pleasant to deal with, you only had to ask and they would get it done. Awesome customer service, ample parking and good security. We made a booking for a studio near Disneyland Paris during Easter and after a 6 hour drive from London we were told by the hotel that they couldn't accommodate us as we were a family of 4 and the room was too small (health and safety). I'm sorry to hear this. It sounds like you had booked into a room with the hotel's non-refundable policy. In situations like those, it is completely up to the hotel to decide whether the reservation would or would not be refunded. Hotels usually have two different policies which include a cheaper non-refundable rate and a slightly higher priced rate with modification or cancellation without penalties before a certain date. If you would like me to try asking the hotel one more time if they would waive the cancellation penalties then please provide me your booking confirmation number.
