Went into deep thought and a lot of work to the last detail, very spacious and also includes private parking for guests of bed and breakfasts. “Avoid this site”

Booked an apartment through site. Hotel was overbooked and send us away. I was charged the full amount on my credit card.Booking.com did absolutely nothing instead took the side or the hotel because they give them commission . Planning to sue them. In overbooking situations then the hotel is supposed to offer you an alternative with the same quality as their property and they should be rebooking you at no additional charge to you. “Mistake on my part”

My husband and I stayed at Cal Mar Hotel from July 25th through 27th. While there I misplaced a gold necklace and earrings and erroneously thought that a staff member had taken it from our room. I found the necklace and earrings about a week after returning home but had written a review that turned out to be false. Booking.com is to be avoided at all costs!!! Not only are their policies horrendous (no refunds no matter what) but the hotels they recommend shouldn't even be considered for homeless people!!! I recently booked what I thought would be a decent hotel in Ocean City, MD (SpinDrift) based on the reviews that booking.com offered and the ranking it gave. The policies and conditions are set by the hotels themselves. If a guest wants to cancel a reservation which was booked with non-refundable conditions we always try to negotiate with a hotel. If a hotel accepts free of charge cancellation we are happy to inform our guests about that and we never stop hotels from making refund if they agreed on this. “Not a bed and breakfast ”

We arrived and was pleasantly greeted by the owner told to pay and then shown our small rabbit warren , we could hear every noise and conversations then during the night awoken by a couple refusing to sleep in there room because if the size , not happy beds to small room to small . “Arrived at hotel, no record of booking!”

When we arrived at the Quality Inn & Suites Danbury, they had no record of our reservation, despite my showing them our Booking.com confirmation. It's a good thing we decided to check in earlier than we had planned, because we would have been stuck without a room at nine o'clock at night. Well, just to update, through the intervention of Booking.com we received a credit from the hotel for the difference between the room we booked and the more expensive room we had to take, so we appreciate that. Still not sure on whose end the error occurred, though.

“Do not book avoid this site at all cost”

I booked b&b la piazza on booking.com in Pisa. The next day I received an email from booking.com to say that my booking has been ccancelled because the property is no longer operating and that I should claim the money back from my bank as this was pre-paid in advance. The problem is that the name of b&b that took the money as well as 2 transaction charges is b&b de giovanni. I booked a family room for 3 adults using the search engine. Plus specified this in the special requirements box. Having received a call from what I believed was Booking.com they explained 3 adults cannot stay in one room despite the disabilities two adults have which would be wiser/safer staying as a 3. I have located your reservation and it looks like the room type you have selected was indeed not able to accommodate the 3 adults, as stated on the website next to the room type you booked. As you booked through Booking.com, the reservation should of been cancelled through Booking.com as well to be able to receive a cancellation and not be charged by the hotel. As Booking.com did not charge you, we would not be able to refund any money, but I will try to contact the property one more time on your behalf and will send you an email shortly to follow up.

I just booked a room in a Hotel in Orlando through booking.com. I got the confirmation e-mail with the booking number and pin code. The reservation clearly states that the room has to be paid when arriving to the hotel. This hotel is a beautiful old converted farmhouse in a very quiet setting outside Bruges. In the description online it says there is a bus stop within 100 metres, which may be true, but the buses stopped running in 2007! It also refers to the gardens which are indeed pretty, but by English standards they are manicured and colourless, without a flower in sight. Even the trees are cut neatly. Booking# 835.858.360. The reservation date is incorrect, the date was supposed to be August 9th. I have the email confirming with Arcadion Hotel 8/9 which they confirmed all was well.
