It has been, being dealt with for weeks. Such a slow process.

It has been three weeks of phones call and emails... nothing is being done.

We reserved a room at the Baymont Inn in Aurora, Ill. Our room had dried bowel movement on the toilet sit, a dirty tub and shower, and hair on the pillow case. We called the front desk and someone came to the room. We were told that the stains on the tub were ground in. The shower head was not cleaned nor was the toilet. “Prices different to hotel when you get there ”

Booked a hotel in Amsterdam which included the city tax for €368, one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because of the inclusive city tax. “Facilitating reckless profit on cancellation fee”

I understand your position, situations with cancellations will always depend on what type of policy you select. Booking.com will list the various policies that are provided by the hotels. There is policies such as Free Cancellations reservations, Special Conditions reservations and Non-Refundable reservations. Thanks for the willingness to investigate this matter further. I have now sent a new mail to customer service at Booking.com with reference to this review. I sincerely hope that booking will take a less passive position and assist to resolve this really horrible mater. The cancellation fee amounts to three monthly salaries - I am a Polytechnic teacher - and I will have to take it on my mortgage... I would really appreciate your help.

l have used Booking.com over 60 times, traveling all over Europe, and frequently staying in a different Hotel every night, and l have never had ANY problem with them, in fact l think they are fantastic and now the only booking agency l will use, as they are so reliable. l'm sorry to hear of your problem, but I don't think it's fair to say that it's a shambles, l'm sure that if you stay calm and use the right avenues of inquiry/complaint you will find a resolution.

Further to my previous posts, I can now say that Booking.com has contacted me again by phone and by e-mail to confirm that If I am willing to go ahead with planned holiday and pay the full amount of holiday including half-board, then they will re-imburse the difference between room only and half-board on our return after sending them the receipt. Willing to go ahead with this offer and hopefully this will have a positive outcome.

“Gross Misrepresentation of Distances from Key Locations”

My booking number was 562598231. As I indicated, I already addressed this issue with customer service. Because it's actually 30 miles from June Lake to Yosemite Valley if one draws a straight line between the two locations, the customer service representative informed me that my argument was invalid - that I was responsible for checking the actual driving times (apparently I missed that disclaimer). However, there's a HUGE mountain range with NO ROADS directly between June Lake and Yosemite Valley and there is one, and only one, route to drive into the park, which is approximately 90 miles. I have since checked several other (more reputable) online booking agencies and NONE of them bring up June Lake (or Mammoth Mountain...also an option on your site) as appropriate places to stay for a Yosemite Valley destination. Shame on me for assuming that the number one booking site would actually provide accurate information! Not only was I denied a refund from your company, which was requested to compensate for our time, added gas expenses, plus wear and tear on the car, but I got the impression that Booking.com had absolutely no interest in correcting the gross misinformation listed on its website. I suppose that way, other unwitting customers can be duped into making the same mistake that we did. DISGUSTING! And just to be clear, the cabin was lovely...but I NEVER would have booked it had I known that doing so would have added a 4 hour, round-trip daily drive to my actual destination.

Guess what all 3 hotels said they hadn't received my booking, while I'm there arguing it's there problem and they need to erect the issue. Bookings are always sent to the hotel several ways: by fax and email; but we also have a shared database that the hotel can log onto to see all the reservations they have. Already given your customer services the booking ref, they just sent me some generic apology email, I guess you must use it quite a bit right ?
I have replied to this email, but had no reply, so I'm guessing it's a unmonitored mail box.
I'm fuming at the way this has been dealt with, and looking at all the other reviews, looks like I'm not alone.
I have been left out of pocket, so unless compensated, I will do my worst on every review site on the net !!!!!!

I would assume that the listings on the website are all checked out by booking.com and not only the hotels but especially the apartments and that it is made sure that what is advertised is what is supplied. Our situation lead to a very distressing experience in a foreign country and we wasted a day (we were only there for a weekend) trying to resolve the matter. Also i havent had any contact from anyone just an email saying that they will contact me, which they havent.

My booking number for the whole holiday is - 3198727.

It has apparently been looked into by your colleague. He has repeatedly sent the same email, saying the hotel vouchers were sent. We did not receive these vouchers so he is essentially calling me a liar. I have informed him that he will be receiving a letter from my solicitor if the matter isn't resolved.

“Didn't acknowledge cancellation”

I booked a room and when plans changed cancelled it and booked a different one. Of course they got the new booking, but didn't alert the hotel of the cancellation and I was charged for it. Bookings.com said the problem was between us and the hotel and they would not help. So, we are out $100.
