I emailed prior to making reservation for hotel in Penang asking if room had terrace as was advertised on the hotels site, an agent replied asking for booking number totally ignoring that I wanted this info before booking, I emailed her back on 5 occasions with no reply.
I made my reservation direct with hotel as she obviously didn't want or couldn't be bothered to supply me with info.

I can not warn people strongly enough not to make a booking with booking.com After booking a villa (and paying in full) in Thailand we noticed (just by chance) that the property had been removed off the site. On no occasion did booking.com attempt to contact us to inform us of this serious problem It turned out after my investigations that the villa was a scheme. “Booking.com is not reliable”

I have used booking.com twice and both times details provided about the hotels on www.booking.com were wrong. The first hotel was simple and easy to fix but the second hotel had many discrepancies including booking.com stating the hotel was "steps from the beach" when in fact it was 1 mile from the beach. My six year would take a lot of steps to walk that mile. We were going to a new city without knowledge of the city. They did not honour our cancellation. Apparently if we had booked directly with the hotel : price would have been the same and we could have cancelled 24 hours in advance. Very disappointing – we will NOT be using Booking.com services again. “Lots of road noise ”

I have just stayed at the Galaxy hotel in Oxford and I would not recommend you stay in one of the rooms at the front of the hotel if you want a good nights sleep. The hotel is on a main road and the road noise is terrible, the windows do not cut out any of the noise, I actually thought the window was open till I checked. What a fantastic family hotel. This was our 7th visit to this hotel and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean, with the rooms serviced daily and towels replaced daily as well. If you want a great place to stay then the Vine House Llandudno, is a great place. I helped my parents book a beach front condo at Destin Beach on June 28th for June 30th-July 5th. We gave our credit card info and printed out the confirmation papers provided by booking.com. It has been, being dealt with for weeks. Such a slow process.
Please can you check the progress of this and get back to me ASAP.
It has been three weeks of phones call and emails... nothing is being done.
