This is a part of priceline.com so buyer beware. There are NO refunds if you have to cancel even in case of death in family. And to make matters worse I was only saving $10 as apposed to booking directly with hotels. From now on I'm staying away from these rip offs. “Unreliable reservations”

I booked with Booking.com nine months before a big event I was traveling to. I was informed 2 weeks before the event that my reservation was no longer available, and that I would have to make a new reservation elsewhere. I chose from one of the hotels that Booking.com suggested, which only had reservations available for two-night stays (I only needed one night). On a two week vacation, we used Booking.com for 8 nights in a row successfully. Then I mistakenly booked a room for the wrong night. When I tried to contact customer service at Booking.com, I found they were not reachable by phone. Well I was charged almost the complete amount but then when I had to cancel, the golden nugget hotel in Laughlin was supposed to return my money back to my account and didn't! Do not use bookings.com . I booked three rooms and got a confirmation for all three of the rooms and the hotel only received reservations for 2 of the rooms and they were sold out by the time I discovered this. “My Comments on the Hotel Pennsylvania New York”

I stay in the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York and on arrival the hotel was very busy but seemed very clean and organized. After waiting at least half an hour to book in, arrived at our room only to be very disappointed the bed was meant to be a double it was more like a large single and wasn't even made properly so in the middle of the night we had to re-make the bed. I have booked 16 accommodations with booking.com in the last few years and I could not be happier with their service! It's not just a regular travel agent with the best prices on the market - they genuinely provide good customer service and when things go wrong with the hotel, they don't turn their back on you, like most agents do. I booked a room and then cancelled it the same within the cancellation policy. The room was able to be cancelled and the hotel refuses to refund my credit. I booked online using bookings.com and I have never been more sorry. The first 2 times it went well and it was not until my third booking that it all became a painful experience. I cancelled one of my bookings that offered free cancellation so the payment of more than $1000 dollars should have been credited back to my account. Instead nothing happened. My husband and I stayed in the hotel for the first 4 nights of our Italy, London and Paris tour. IVE BEEN LET DOWN TWICE!We used for our honeymoon in Florence 2015. When we arrived at our villa, they double booked us so we had to stay in another hotel. We just booked a holiday to Spain and booked my parents in the same hotel as us. We booked this 3 months ago. At short notice they told us they double booked the hotel, AGAIN! Booking.com takes no responsibility for inaccurate hotel information which they promote, that can compromise the comfort and safety of it's clients. I recently booked and stayed at a hotel that was rated as "2 stars" by booking.com and promoted as "deal of the day" by booking.com.
