Have had my Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia in and out of the workshops so many times I can't count, to have the air conditioning looked at. Ford finally replaced the whole system. Out of warranty now and it's packed up again!

Likewise the windscreen wiper motor regularly blew fuses (Ford said we must have ...

Lots of people complain about the Galaxy but I think it's a great car.

We've had one for 3 years and have 4 children. There is loads of room and we don't have any problems with space. When we go on holiday we add a roof box and have plenty of capacity.

As long as you remember it's a big MPV an ...

What a load of moaners below. This is my second Ford Galaxy. This one has done 265,000 miles! Petrol engine. Same clutch same exhaust!
Has had 2 coil packs and 1 extra set of discs all around.
It was hammered as hard as it could be, up hill, down dale and around the bend. Has never let me down. W ...

I replaced my very expensive Ford Galaxy windscreen wiper motor just a year ago and there are already signs of it deteriorating again.

I wouldn't buy a Ford Galaxy again. Bought it new, 2002 model, and have been beset with problems including almost 18 monthly replacement of brake discs and brake pads. The front tyres also need far too frequent replacement and at around £110 per tyre, that is a very expensive regular replacem ...

I don't like the Ford Galaxy for the reasons stated above, but the dealer service departments are what really hurt. I find the vision out of the windscreen very limited and in particular there is a constant blind spot when turning left or right, where pedestrians can become invisible. The car has do ...

Does what is is designed to do - carries seven adults or after leaving seats somewhere, can take a three piece suite. Seats are heavy, but easy to fix if you have a strong back. Handles very well for a big van and by using gears, with seats out and air-con off, will mix it with the best of saloon c ...

This Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia is the first People Carrier type vehicle I have been given for work, performance and engine wise it's OK - but the interior and creature comforts necessary for long journeys are in urgent need of a make-over

Ford Galaxy 2.3 Ghia - I get a private lease car every 3 years. This time (2 years ago) I was going to have one of the new Espace's. Because of constant problems with delivery, I opted for a Galaxy instead. What a mistake that was.

I find the car uncomfortable, the seats are difficult to remove. ...
