bought a karcher k2.360
used for 10 minutes on concrete paving
thing started to smell , smoke was coming out of unit and pressure loss
took back and got my money back
wouldnt touch this product with a forty foot barge pole.
will hire a machine to do the job, much safer option

I was just about to replace my 3 year old Lavor which works but I think is a piece of c**p, with a new Karcher. After reading the reviews below, I think I think I'll put my money back in the ol oak chest and stick to my piece of c**p. (read more)

I can only agree with the comments about Karcher. The latest was my third but only lasted from the summer - stored in cellar for winter - used once in Jan and now the cheap plastic pump is leaking so I have just binned it.The later modl are lightweight and shoddy will never buy another Karcher pressure washer. Like most people on here I have purchased more than one of these thinking the first failure was bad luck! They seem to change model number every few months whilst inherently the same machine.
Little use on all three units I have purchased I would say no more than 5hrs each. Biggest job was to clear the moss from my paved driveway, a typical domestic task I would say and probobaly two hours intermittant use although may have been continously for ten minutes before pausing to sweep up.
They... (read more)

Bought it last year, cleaned everything in sight, dog included,All good.
Put it away, got out today to clean patio, water pouring out inside and pulsating, virtually nil pressure.
Thought it was me,changed connectors,etc.
Asked Hubbie on return, looks like it has had it says he,after 1 use?
Nearly chucked it over hedge!
Of course, out of Warranty, and thrown box away.

Same as other folks. Used a few times over summer before last. Left in basement over winter - come spring wouldn't work. Stripped down, bought expensive replacement bits. Re-assembled - worked. Left in basement over winter (no frost or nasties) come spring - dead again. Stripped down but no joy. Binned the piece of c**p. Avoid at all costs! (read more)

Karcher 330M A terrible piece of junk. This is my second one, I should have learned. First one failed right away so I took it back where I bought it and got another. Had it for 2 yrs, used maybe 6 times, now leaking water profusely internally and pressure dropping. No repairs at a reasonable cost. Do Not Buy a Karcher!!!! (read more)

I bought a Karcher (supposed to be the best!) The machine is so light it continually falls over. Small unmanageable hose (stiff as steel) small electrical lead.
Inferior small plastic hose to place into your patio cleaning solution.
Very noisy and not very powerful.
Cheap looking plastic case.
Used it once and dumped it.
Now have a much more powerful and reliable washer and thankfully its NOT a Karcher. (read more)

Absolute rubbish, purchased 3 years ago & after very little light use started leaking oil, then started tripping power as soon as switched on.Told by Karcher agent it was totally uneconomic to repair. Price of parts on internet is astronomic - 1L of oil £66 ! Was also told that pumps in these domestic machines overheat & fail if used continuously on full pressure for 5-6 minutes. Seems they are only suitable for short bursts of power - not much use in that.Would not buy a Karcher pressure... (read more)

This product must be made to fail, judging by the price of the spares sky high prices for little pieces of plastic that cost pennies to make, wouldn't by ever again or recommend. Ive never heard a decent word said about karcher, Trade descriptions should take a serious look at this company (read more)

Absolute rubbish. I've had one for 3 years and it's bombed out 4 times. In order to avoid problem, I buy another one, change over the pump from the old one and return it to shop, refunded. Done this 4 times now. The reason I do this - something that gets used 12 times a year should have a little more longevity. One star is too generous (read more)

Karcher pressure washer? no thanks I wouldnt have another if it was given to me. I've been unfortunate to own several, but after a few months use they fall apart, leak water, oil from the pump, you have to take the wand apart from the pistol frequently to get any decent pressure, my advice stay away from karcher pressure washers they simply not worth the money, karcher dont want to know ,repair service centres repairs expensive, make for uneconomical to repair (read more)

I have had two of these now one of which was a replacement for a faulty one, they are absolute rubbish, the replacement one is now faulty, Karcher"s guarantee policy is all wrong, they give a 12 month warranty but lets face it they dont get used every day, I use mine maybe half a dozen times a year........... Yhe Karcher K2.94M Pressure Washer is a poor quality machine, karcher built its reputation on older better machines now producing too many models and quality is sadly now not its priority.
I have had two machines and the 1st died after 4 years but with plenty of use, I replaced it with a K2.950 it has died after a few months of little use - motor on off switch. I should have read more reviews prior to buying. (read more)

This is the second Karcher K2.94M Pressure Washer I have experienced. Like the first, it has died after approx 2 years light domestic use and the repair cost is uneconomic. I will be avoiding this company's products in the future. (read more)
