Please do not waste your time and hard earned money with EMS internet.. They will keep on taking your money for different things.. And they will not stop!!! Please go to complaintsboard.com ems broken promises where you will see loads of comments from many unsatisfied customers. There are also comments on there from ex employes!! It's pleasant to see that I'm NOT alone in that case!!!!
unfortunately I saw a lawyer for my case with them and until there is £10 000 of damage it's not worse starting a case. they know it and behave as a rogue company. those behaviour have to stop!!!

“Money for nothing!”

I wanted to give this company NO STARS but it wouldn't let me, they want your money, don't reply to emails, site never went live but still expect to be paid. They use mobile phones to call you instead of their main number (probably because people don't answer them) I have contacted trading standards and they have started to look into it. “Could be a lot better!”

I have a mobile website built by (good) EMS and hosted (not so good) by them. I find it difficult to contact them when things go wrong, which is fortunately not too often, but they never seem to get back to me and my experience of customer service is that it's pretty much non-existent. They are quick enough to take my money, try to sell me other products or services and even (very annoyingly) to contact me and try to sell me the same service I already have on several occasions! These people will charge you £199 for a 4 page website which is template based. Following this you will be deluged with cold calls for SEO and add ons. On one occasion a guy said he wanted to update my website by adding a CAPTCHA code and went from a sales pitch telling me he was doing me a favour. As I was setting up my new floristry business I received a call from ems internet. They explained benefits of displaying my business on my own website. Of course it's myself shop window. I have been working with EMS now for approx 8 months and during that time I have spent approx £2000 I have had to deal with a number of different people I would prefer to have had one contact to deal with at all times. I have been emailing and telephoning for two days now regarding this appointment with no reply. So I will have to leave one here again as this is the only point I get a responce from. Due to the amount of time I have wasted with EMS I have now entered into a deal with another internet company they are in the process of building a website with no request for payment untill it is complete. Please4 close down all details you have for me and my company and return all monies paid to date.

“Bad service, Bad product, give it a miss”

Difficult to get through to, poor design service, web site still looking awful. Company wants to be paid extra for putting together a basic web site which was not explained when I signed up to this company. This is a company that has lost its way. I have reviewed your concerns in full; in regards to your comment stating that you have found it difficult to get through to ourselves, due to unforeseen circumstances EMS Internet have had a recent technical fault with their BT Telephone lines which started Tuesday 30th July however we were still reachable by email, fax, post, online chat or the request a call back form on our website. All EMS Internet customers have been notified of the fault by email and a notice has been implemented on our website to notify all customers of this issue, this has now been resolved.

With regards to your website design you are able to request as many changes as required within both the initial flat design stage and within the coded proof stage before confirming to go live and should you have a control panel with your package you are also able to edit aspects yourself. If you require any assistance with your control panel we have a team of professional technicians who we can arrange a call back with for you, if you can provide a convenient date or time we will be happy to arrange this on your behalf.

EMS Internet may contact you to promote additional services and these services are sold under no obligation however if you would like us to remove your telephone number from our marketing list please advise as we will be happy to implement this for you.

I would hazard a guess that this review is probably the work of EMS themselves.

EMS Internet are probably one of the worst companies I've dealt with. Their only prowess is to extort as much money as they can with no results. I have never even seen my website and yet they are still ringing me telling them I need to pay yet another £295 + Vat for building links into a site I've not seen.

AVOID them at all costs

“Very bad sales techniques, underhand and won't listen”

I feel I was misold to by ems. Told me it was to renew website but what somehow ended up paying for was a control panel i didnt need. Then tried to sell me control panel again and wouldn't take no for an answer. I still didnt want it after a 50% discount. I then ignored my phone when i saw their number.
