    Great machine found Vista a bit confusing but getting used to it now. Screen very clear and easy to use keyboard. Lots of memory and a large HD. Who could ask for more especially at so reasonable a price.

    at frst i icouldnt believe my luck, a core2 duo 1.83ghz 2mb cache, 3gb of ram, 250gb HD, 2mb webcam, dvd rw, WITH a decent geforce 8400m gs (256mb dedicated, 1gb turbocache) all for under £400. this thing ran as good as the desktop it replaced, AND i could happily play games at a decent leve ...

    One of the dirtiest laptops I have ever seen
    And also dont take in Currys UK as they wont provide any good customer service and they just ask you to call a phone number
    Currys is famous in selling for goods in UK but due to my experience I do not recommend Advent 5401.

    Overall, I feel the Adent 5401 is a great laptop, with it's sleek dark gray design, huge memory storage capacity and small screen; utterly important if you'd prefer a light-weight laptop to carry rather than having to heave a bulk.     This is an excellent laptop, you will be lucky to find another top brand laptop with this spec for the same price.

    The wifi drains the battery quick but this is the same on most laptops. Make sure you allow the vent to get cool in and out or it will constantly speed the fan up to cool it.

    Works fine at home in the evening. When in an industrial environment have great difficulty in that on switch-on when booting up. The computer immediately shuts down and corrupts and asks to reload vista. Restore and reboot helps. Suspect when using wi fi there was corrupted updates from MSN.
