The Weihrauch HW 97K is a great spring air Rifle, but I encountered problems first wet day out....
After a good soaking I returned with the usual wet wood swelling to show open grain and cracked varnish.
With my previous BSA I had no problems and assumed the HW97 it would be the same.... NOT so I ...

I purchased the Weihrauch HW 97K in haste and regreted it, was advised that the weight would hamper my shooting and it did. I have over twenty years shooting experience and really was not impressed with the accuracy of this rifle I used a quality 3-9X50 scope and was toiling at 30 yards to hit bulls ...

I got my Weihrauch HW 97K three weeks ago and I am very very impressed with it. I zeroed the scope in at 15yards, I was then making 1/2 inch groups at 35 yards (kneeling) using accupells.
I thought it was a bit heavy to cart around so I fitted a sling to it which is much easier now. when I went on ...

Have owned my Weihrauch HW 97K for a shade under two months and it's had two outings to date. Nikko-Sterling 6 X 40 scope completes the package. Have fired about 500 pellets and 'feel' that the rifle is easing up.
I've applied a couple of coats of walnut oil preparation to the stock which gives a ...

After reading various reviews I decided to purchase a HW97K in 0,177. I bought second-hand and am in the serial number range 159xxxx which believe is an Mk2. After having had both a 95K and a ### I'm really happy with the handling ability of the 97K, obviously heavier but very well balanced. I've fi ...

Just an update on the measured power of the Weihrauch HW 97K. Now it's nicely run in I decided to check the energy at the muzzle with a couple of my favourite brands. For anyone interested I have a set of down-range results too. But with RWS Hollow-Points it's recording a consistent 11.8 ft/lbs (wi ...

After reading many reviews on different air rifles I finally plucked up courage to go out and buy a Weinrauch 97k. I am extremely pleased with what I have purchased. I have a Simmons 8point 50mm scope. Started 'plinking' in the back garden about 20 meters away, once I had zeroed the sights in I was ...

I purchased the Weihrauch HW 97K rifle on say so from a friend as my old gun has no way of fitting a scope. It's modern so spares shouldn't be a problem. I'm pleased with it but for close range ratting it's a bit noisy when loading. Scares the rats off .. also can't unpower the gun without shooting ...

After 1000 rounds the Weihrauch HW 97K .22 rifles is nicely run in, and whilst performing well out of the box, it's only after some lead has been laid in the barrel that the gun delivers into its full potential. Starting with accuracy, the 97K is quite simply outstanding. Shooting groups of 5 shots ...

The Weihrauch hw 97k is my 5th spring gun and it is by far the best. After running the rifle in the gun settled down the cocking effort eased up and the firing cycle became a lot smoother only then was I gob smacked by the accuracy of this rifle. At 40 yards I was putting in 0.5 inch groups using Cr ...
