Booked and paid for a luxury car transfer for 2. Paid in advance. Its a shambles at the airport, you get offered a minibus with everyone else. Finally, after a long argument, a minibus on your own. Beware

“Disappointing ”

Disappointing. We booked a return service from Faro airport. We had a little delay at the airport on arrival, we were looking for a driver holding up our name but our name was on a list of names held by someone just past the pick up area. The journey to our hotel was fine and the car was very comfortable. Our return journey was cancelled. We had a scheduled early pick up of 3.45 am, We received a text message at 11.30pm to cancel the pickup and advise we had to make other arrangements, luckily we were able to book an uber. I appreciate things go wrong and so on my return home, I requested a refund for the return journey that wasn't provided. This should have been processed quickly as I provided supporting information, however 4 weeks later and I've had no contact from the company to resolve or a refund. Ive had to raise a claim via paypal. Poor customer service :(

“Avoid at all costs!!”

Please avoid at all costs. Use suntransfers instead. Our experience with this company has been nothing less than appalling. Our experience is summarised as follows on our recent trip to Barcelona with a 10 month old baby. 1. You are not met by a driver at the airport, you are met by a rep who then calls a driver. Eventually 20 minutes later you are in a car. Just got to the cab rank you'll be far quicker and cheaper. 2. Despite confirming with the company and the rep where we were going the driver went the complete opposite direction for 30 minutes, not until we asked where they were taking us did it become apparent they were going somewhere else entirely. As such what should have been an hour journey ended up taking 2 hours and 15 minutes. 3. The style of driving we received for our "Premium package" could be described as white knuckle. Despite being in heavy traffic the driver would rev the engine and race up behind the car in front, tail gate them for about a mile then heavily hammer on the brakes when we reached traffic despite it being a sea of red brake lights from some distance away. No apology was ever offered for the delay or the manner in which she was driving despite our very audible concerns. 3. The customer service is APPALLING!! We first waited a month for this company to confirm we had gone in the wrong direction. Apparently the cars are limited to 100km/h so that makes the driving style totally safe and our concerns are totally unwarranted. They advised the local company would give us a small refund. On emailing back advising we were not satisfied with the small refund they were offering we received no response, after 3 weeks of emailing every day we finally received and email advising it basically wasn't their problem. They had our money they weren't going to look into the matter any further and we should be on our way. Most people will not read this but for those that have I would implore you to not risk dealing with these people.

“Never Again..”

No problem being picked up it was the return pick up they never turned up after complaining and explained that we were there 15 minutes early the person who investaged insisted that the pick up shuttle was there. My argument as we were instructed by the drop of driver that we were to return to this taxi pick up point but no shuttle arrived they are saying they were there. We just made the plane by minutes this was stressful and at 79yrs and paying 97Euros to get to the airport we could have well done without. Reading many reviews like mine this company needs to investigate the criminality of what’s going on..

“Avoid using Holiday Taxis”

AVOID: Shuttle bus failed to collect us, to take us back to the airport, leaving us stranded. Fortunately, we managed to get a public taxi to the airport, just in time to catch our flight home. Complained to Holiday Taxis Customer Relations, and asked them to reimburse us for the €45 taxi fare, that their failure to honour our contract had cost us. Holiday Taxis supplier then fabricated a story about what happened, and even though their story didn’t make sense, and clearly breached Holiday Taxis own T&Cs, Holiday Taxis showed absolutely zero interest in resolving the matter fairly, and after 9 emails to them I had to give up.

“Terrible service ”

Terrible Service. Our party of 8 booked a transfer from Chania airport(Crete) to our hotel & return. On arrival we proceeded to a desk, as instructed, only to be told our driver was not at the airport & we would need to wait a further 20 mins. This was not acceptable & so cancelled & made other arrangements. On applying for a refund we were informed that a 20min wait was, in their opinion, acceptable & could even be up to a 1 hour wait & still fall within their terms & conditions. KEEP WELL CLEAR of this company unless you don't mind sitting on your case in arrivals watching the remaining passengers depart for their hotel.

“Shuttle never came. Almost missed my flight”

The transfer shuttle from Kemer to Antalya Airport never came. Due to the lack of communication between HolodayTaxis and the supplier Atik Tours, the shuttle came to a different hotel in a different city, instead of our hotel. I had to pay 100 EUR out of pocket for a taxi, so we didn't miss our flight. I'm never using this website ever again, and I'm pretty sure they won't reimburse the extra cost to the airport and the price of the original tickets. Avoid this site.

“DO NOT USE.”

Never gave me my refund for a service I never used. would be assured i’d be refunded yet when I stated this on call and email, was DISMISSED and blamed even thought they had not made this clear, bare in mind this was a month in advance. I had also tried to cancel the service online which it gave me no option to, just stated it was confirmed??? and then suddenly a month later my money is taken . An unfair system , DO NOT USE.

“Very poor serbice”

Was due to be met in arrivals. The driver phoned (30 minutes late) claiming he could not find arrivals... that it was our responsibility to find him. He made no attempt whatsoever to meet us. We had to negotiate traffic and traffic barriers to eventually get our taxi almost an hour later. The driver was then exceptionally rude claiming we had kept him waiting. He dismissed the idea that he was supposed to meet us. Would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

“worse service ever”

My wife and I arrived in Alicante airport in mid June at 9pm and I had booked a transfer to Calpe with Holiday Taxis,however no driver was waiting for us. I contacted the local number provided in booking email and was directed to a PR desk downstairs the guy at the desk could not help me as I was a private transfer,so I had to get a taxi. I emailed the company in the uk the next day to get a refund for the first half of the journey and they replied they would investigate and get back to me within 72 hours.I got no response so sent another email a week later and got a reply we will investigate and get back to you within 28 days,nothing came out of this so sent a third email and this time got no reply or no refund. So my advice is avoid HolidayTaxis.com County Kerry Ireland

“Took payment, no taxi, no refund, reported for fraud”

I tried to book online, inputted my debit card details, they replied immediately to say they couldn’t confirm and would refund me. I wrote 6 days after, after not receiving a refund. Six weeks and multiple emails later, no refund, very rude customer service. So I have reported them to VISA who are looking into it as fraud, taking payment but not supplying goods. Disgraceful and unprofessional.

“Good journey but bring own infant car seat”

We booked a private transfer with an infant car seat, we contacted holidaytaxis' previous to the journey and specifically asked for a rear-facing seat for our 5 month old son. We were reassured that this would be available. When we arrived our transfer was waiting for us, and the driver was very friendly. In the minibus there was a car seat in the only seat with a seat belt, however, it wasn't rear-facing, and only really suitable for a child over 9 months old. They had no smaller seats available. Fortunately, the journey was smooth, we were very disappointed in an appropriate seat not being available especially when we had specifically asked for one before the journey. Next time we will bring our own seat. The return journey was punctual with another friendly driver.

“Awful experience, avoid this company ”

My taxi did not arrive, despite paying over £50 in advance e to book the car. I was eventually told (after 4 phone calls to various customer service agents with conflicting advice - one of which said the taxi was 2 mins away) that I should walk to a local taxi rank so as not to miss my flight!! Which led to a 20 minute walk in 32•c heat with a heavy suitcase and 2 hand luggage cases. The whole reason you book a door to door service and pay over the odds of your average taxi is to avoid the stress and walking?! Ridiculous. And the cherry on the case - despite emailing and contacting the company instantly and following all their advice, they still have my £50 and I have not heard a single thing from them since the taxi failed to arrive over 3 weeks ago!!! Horrendous company. Avoid.

Very easy to book, competitive price and the drop off point of our choice. Very easy to locate the transfer desk at the airport, checked-in and within a very short time we were taken to our air conditioned mini bus ready for our transfer to Lagos. Driver was friendly and helpful, the journey was extremely comfortable, journey time was as stated and we were dropped off at our chosen drop off point. My friend is going to the Algarve later this year, I will definitely be recommending Holiday Taxis.com

On arrival at Airport was a little unsure where to go was directed by holiday rep but found they were not that helpful. felt was standing around but once taxi rep was found everything went smoothly. they do try sell excursions however at thew airport was told to meet the hotel rep for taxi the next day to sort the return details out and talk about excursions. so went along to sort return out to find all the rep wanted to do was to sell excursions and when told my parents had sorted with tui she was ok thats it and to send details of return flight etc to her whats app which i sent twice and never got a delivery message or a reply, so in the end called the uk number to make sure everything for the return taxi was sorted .

First time I've booked at transfer from Faro to Luz. Chose this company as it had better reviews than the cheapest but still very good value. I would definitely use them again. Went to the desk within Faro airport after landing. Only waited about 10 minutes before leaving on the transfer in an 8 seater transit sized people carrier. Just two other couples and us (2) in a very new and comfortable vehicle. Would definitely use this company again.
