Just received my order and they have sent the wrong spec driver.Only noticed when unpacked completely so unable to return.Driver advertised is only available with stiff shaft they have managed to send an extra stiff one.Bought the same spec 3 wood from Jam golf,channel islands.They managed to send the correct one in just 3 days.Will never bother with direct golf again.How can they get such a simple order wrong? 17/5/2014… Read Full Review

Hi I order some clubs from you're company of the value of 265 pounds after 3-4 days no one came back to me and no order received after I queried it , seems you didn't have them in stock no notification on your website.The 1st of April you were more than happy to take the money. I placed a small order with them last month with the offer of order by 2pm and get a free next day delivery, they took the order and confirmed stock only to find the items were out of stock and they did not make me aware, I called and was told the new system was not up to date. I said this would not happen again, they offered me an extra discount on my next order. So this month May I thought I would give them one last try, same offer, I placed an order and nothing!! The facts of this are as follows: I purchased a golf driver, wedge, glove, balls and shoes from Golf Direct and they supplied the wedge, glove, balls shoes and driver. However the driver was missing the head cover and tool to adjust the loft. I proceeded to phone Direct Golf and (I won't bore you with all of the calls) the end result of this was they said they would not supply the missing items and I would have to source them myself and they would issue a credit note. Ordered a wedge and some tees from DGUK. They have always been excellent to date. After 2 weeks, nothing had arrived. Called and e-mailed them. Advertise Items that they do not have in stock for a price that you will go for. Continue to move the Estimated Delivery date forward whilst they shop around to get you the goods at a price that enables them to make money on as they have offered the goods to cheap.Then cannot fulfil the order and you are left in the lurch. “Really Hard Work to Deal with”

I ordered a new set of irons but the order was out on hold which I did not realise. This was so that they could push their custom fit service which require two measurements hight and fingertip to floor which costs £30. I gave and a agreed to this but you need to pay this separately. I am still waiting for this to be sorted and do not have the clubs. Price was good with a good discount but I have still to see the product. i had this "custom fit" when i ordered a set of irons due to my height (6'5") when the golf professional at our club actually checked the clubs he said they were perfect for a player who is 5'8".

Don't waste your money !!!

Just one thing: Avoid it! They put things up for sale whereas they do not have it in their stock!!! They promise a delivery within 4-5 days, but you can expect 1 month if you buy something they don't have in stock... Very disappointing when I try to call the customer service. I have a different version each time I talk to someone else. They seem lost. “Golf pro's or not so clever sales pitch?”

I am a little concerned that the Direct Golf store managers are being pushed to sell certain clubs and will gain extra commission or incentives as a result. I don't have a problem with this unless the information I have been given by one of the pro's is genuine. I have just bought a club from them today and felt they were guiding me down the path of buying a John Letters wedge with a graphite shaft.
