purchased football top after two wears top appeared full of runs and pulls, returned to store and was told by an uppity manageress that my washing machine was to blame? funny it had only been hanwashed twice. ordered some socks, trainers and a coat. They sent me the wrong socks and also sent me a mug and a useless magazine that I hadn't asked for - oh and they charged me for them. They are only a pound in total but to send them back would cost me around £5. They obviously thought that they had the rest of the order correct and so would charge me an extra pound with the mug and magazine so that I wouldn't return it as I would be out of pocket. I just had the same problem and have written to SD asking for a refund. Ire clown they shod also refund some of the postage too as the package will be heavier if a mug and magazine are included. If they don't respond to my satisfaction I am writing to trading standards.

Wow, I can't believe they're still pulling this. They did this to me last year too, and I have not bought anything from them since. It doesn't matter how cheap their prices are, not when they trade in such a dishonest way. Your review is fair, and you're not alone.

“Terrible in every way!!!”

Bought a new squash racquet a few weeks ago, the strings snapped when I was playing which is really unusual for a new racquet. I did end up going back to the store 2 days after the 28 day period to take this back. I had to speak to three different people and wait 15 minute to be told no. There is a store policy that strings have to be replaced by customers (regardless of circumstances). “queue at tills!”

I was in sports direct in the metrocentre gateshead on friday 14th feb am, there was one person on a till and one on exchanges till. the queues were down the shop, one customers asked if there was anyone else for the till and the lad behind said no sorry, for a big company like this it quite bad. “Pathetic queuing an customer service”

I was at sports direct in touchwood solihull and the queuing at the tills is absolutely pathetic with no queuing system at all and customers jumping at the first till being available. I almost ended in an argument with an idiot who decided to jump the queue ahead of everyone else. Sports direct don't exactly attract the cream of society and I for one would most definitely not be shopping there again.. “Printing stains on front of shirt”

“Horrendous customer service no refund after 2 months”

The online order system is a JOKE. I ordered my items on Friday 24th of January at 7.20am ( cut off for Saturday delivery is 7pm). When you order online they automatically add a catalogue for £1 why do i need that when i'm ordering online therefore can see everything online. you can remove it but you have to remember to do so. Same thing has just happened to me. They have refused to refund my money. I plan on calling them every day until they refund my money. I am also planning on contacting watchdog & i suggest that you do the same.
