I was in sports direct in the metrocentre gateshead on friday 14th feb am, there was one person on a till and one on exchanges till. the queues were down the shop, one customers asked if there was anyone else for the till and the lad behind said no sorry, for a big company like this it quite bad. I order ed all this fab looking coars and tracksuit, well wat a pile of rubbish, none of it fitted, very rubbish poor quality, order came to 45.00 quid cost me 12 quid to return it all so in total with the 4.99p &p I paid I think they makin a tidy profit,so 16 quid in p&p and returns, stupid me wont get caught like that again, they used to offer to buy a prepaid returns label but cudnt find it this time , ive stick to foot locker ta v.much pay more get better quality items. ******* nasty nasty… Read Full Review

“Pathetic queuing an customer service”

I was at sports direct in touchwood solihull and the queuing at the tills is absolutely pathetic with no queuing system at all and customers jumping at the first till being available. I almost ended in an argument with an idiot who decided to jump the queue ahead of everyone else. Sports direct don't exactly attract the cream of society and I for one would most definitely not be shopping there again.. I have bought loads of stuff from Sportsdirect.com stores, and never had a problem. Opened an account and thought for convenience order from the website, ticked next day delivery. Basket had a giant mug and something else added to it which I hadnt ordered, and I couldnt delete it from the order. Then the next day delivery didnt happen. “Printing stains on front of shirt”

Bought a complete outfit for a 9 year old birthday and when goods arrived I discovered stains.Also shorts had previously been somewhere else as bag was torn, not even repackaged. Shoddy treatment. “Horrendous customer service no refund after 2 months”

I placed a large order before Christmas, when the order arrived the clothes were cheap and looked like had been stored In a warehouse for months the items had lost there colour , I contacted there customer care department was advised I could send back free of charge I was emailed a freepost returns label and advised to take to post office and get a proof of postage. Placed an order on line and went through payments and when directed back to their site I got a whoops something has gone wrong error from sports direct. When I looked I could see they had taken my money but no order was showing on system. The online order system is a JOKE. I ordered my items on Friday 24th of January at 7.20am ( cut off for Saturday delivery is 7pm). Not only did my order not arrive; getting in contact with them is a complete nightmare. It seems that when you chose a category for your email they send an automated reply based on that. When you order online they automatically add a catalogue for £1 why do i need that when i'm ordering online therefore can see everything online. you can remove it but you have to remember to do so. Also our delivery was a present direct to the persons house, but they used yodel and the delivery said delivered but it wasnt. After not receiving the items for two weeks when they were due, I contacted sportsdirect and apparently the items were delivered to my neighbour. This was a complete fabrication and the name of the person that apparently signed for the order didn't correspond with anyone that lives near to my home, moreover they were not able to provide an address or signature for who the items have been left. Same thing has just happened to me. They have refused to refund my money. I plan on calling them every day until they refund my money. I am also planning on contacting watchdog & i suggest that you do the same.

I've ordered twice. Had the goods sent to Spain for just 5 euros, is cheap! Most of the items are cheap apart from some of the more highly priced goods, which are the same price elsewhere, so ignore the exaggerated mark down price! I do though have a problem with their review system which doesn't actually allow you to leave any type of review which is not full of praise such as 'best product in world' type review.
