There were pros and cons. Pros included their prompt email replies, friendliness and availability. Issues included: as new applicants, we felt like we were prompting the agents on certain processes, especially during referencing. Overall, we managed to move into our flat on the set date, however the week prior to that date was quite stressful, as there were a couple of mistakes made by the agency, which complicated the process.

Since moving in, the team have been most helpful and attentive to solve any problems I had with the flat. She is quick and responsive and deals with the issue very precisely to a high satisfactory level.

I have rented a property through this estate agents for over a year now and I have found them to be very professional and amenable to any requests or concerns I have had in relation to the property. Matters are dealt with in good time and staff are helpful

A friendly & well organised letting agents. The team were readily available throughout our tenancy to help respond to the queries we had. They were swift in processing paperwork when we made ammendments, and remained flexible enough to facilitate complex arrangements at the end of our lease. Thanks again you for your help!

I have dealt with them on a number of property renewals. She is an absolute asset to Brinkleys through her professionalism and attention to detail. She has made the whole renewal process simple and straightforward. She deals with emails quickly and accurately. Nothing is ever too much trouble. She is a wonderful addition to Brinkleys staff and I am sure the department runs a lot swifter because of her professionalism. Thank you for helping me so much!

My properties have been managed by Brinkleys Estate Agents since 2009. I am very happy with the management of my properties. I would recommend Brinkleys Estate Agents to anyone who would like excellent property letting and management. In particular, I would like to give credit to the Property Manager for doing a good job and her professionalism. I am an overseas landlord. Her followup on any issue is very good. She works hard to keep my properties well managed. I have never had a problem with her. My properties are well looked after and professionally managed. I would highly recommend her for property letting and management.

We had a leak in our property and were most impressed with the way that they handled the situation. The leak occurred on a Sunday and she called us immediately and took action. We were also advised, a few hour's later, of the findings of the contractor and the approximate cost. So far we have been satisfied with the Brinkley's staff - they keep us informed and updated on the situation on the house and do not hesitate to contact us if something needs attention.

Brinkley's were extreme fast with dealing with our application. They were very efficient and professional when dealing with us over the phone and via email. Extremely good with answering all our questions and queries and keeping us unto date with any developments for our application. No complaints out end, everything was organised within a week, and with a constant feed of information and two way communication. So everything you could ask for from an agent really. Thanks for all the help.

Brinkleys have let 2 properties for the past 5 years. They have been professional throughout. Moreover they have proactively engaged with existing tenants timeously to renegotiate and extend leases terms. I can recommend them as a good value letting agent.

There were a few issues with my flat that needed dealing with. They were not easy issues and i found that they were diplomatic with dealing with the tenants as well as seeing my side and my aspects. Things were sorted, they could have been a bit more timeous as follow up had to be prompted on some occasions but mostly they were very good.

The good: Sourced new tenants quickly and efficiently Managed tricky repairs and maintenance issues well Lettings team communicates well with landlords and tenants The bad: Accounts department communicates badly, makes mistakes and is slow to correct mistakes Commission is all charged upfront, I see no justification for this, especially for longer contracts

I have found the team at Brinklets extremely efficient in both finding tenants and managing my 3 properties. The maintenance team always deal with clients requirements quickly and cost effectively. Which means I do not have to worry about anything. It would be useful to have a contact It's. This is probably available somewhere but I do not know where. I have not had much contact with the sales team and this could be improved.

Brinkleys are efficient and reliable. They are easy to contact and respond to communications speedily. I particularly appreciate that they keep me informed and also will offer advice. Additionally they will, for example, send a quick email to say that an issue is being dealt with even before things have been sorted out. This way I know that everything is in hand and has not disappeared into cyberspace or been forgotten. A good professional attitude

Since moving into our flat there have been a few problems and every time we have had to practically BEG Brinkleys to sort them out. The day we moved into the place the sinks were overflowing because they were clogged. Three of the rooms had lights that didn't work. The extractor fan in the kitchen has never worked. We went 3 months of winter without heating. We informed Brinkleys of these issues and they basically laughed in our face saying it's not their problem and we would have to sort it out. We informed them about paint peeling on all of the window frames in JANUARY and that we are having to hoover every single day because of the paint falling on the floor. They still have done nothing after countless emails to them that they ignore. Guess what!? Tonight we have arrived home to no hot water! I already know that trying to contact them is a waste of my time as it will probably take a week to reply (if they even do) and if they do they will more than lightly advise me to fix the problem myself. Do yourself a favour and use another agent. Trust me you will regret it if you don't.

We bought a property via Brinkleys. I particularly liked their honesty with regards to the questions I had during the search and their efficiency in dealing with queries, and driving the sale forward so that the exchange of contracts was possible in a timely manner. The staff were professional and approachable, and overall we were happy with the high level of customer service provided!

*Edit since this was posted Brinkleys has in fact fixed the water problem, had to threaten to contact the property owner though.
Still waiting on the painter...
