If you need to cancel a holiday on behalf of someone, the you're stuffed. My brother is in ICU and had booked a holiday, after 2 emails the replied with, " we will respond in 28 days". I've tried ringing them and have just been left on hold for a week and a half. I don't need this at this moment in time. “Bad Customer Service BEFORE HOLIDAY”

Me and my Boyfriend decided to book for Cyprus in April this year. We saw a 5 star hotel on Jet2Jolidays website for £825 each B&B, which we thought was good since it was a 5 star hotel. WRONG! on the website it claims THE VENUS BEACH HOTEL is a friendly, modern hotel with a private beach. 1st holiday with jet2, so impressed with everything staff, flight, hotel, Riu Belplaya, Torromelinos, (10th-24th june 2013) our usual Thomsons could certainly do with your staffs attitude, so happy to be at work, good fun but still professional . “no room at the inn”

I have just returned from a much needed holiday.Myself and two adult daughters booked flight and hotel half board with jet2 at the Hotel Globales Sumba Borneo in Cala Millor Mallorca. This happened to myself and husband on our recent trip, we arrived at 22.30 to be advised that the hotel was fully booked, we were sent to another hotel for 2 nights and told to return 2 days later at 10 in the morning and our room would be ready. We arrived at 10:30 and they said we would have to wait until 1pm as they had a flight coming in and after all the rooms were allocated they would find us a room. So angry about the way it was handled and a email of complaint has gone to Jet 2.

Booked a holiday over a month ago with Jet2Holidays and emailed them at the same time to request a private transfer add on. Got an automated email back telling me they'd respond within a week (I thought that was long!). Tried to call them twice but after 25 minutes on the phone waiting to get through, I gave up on both occasions. Over a month later (one month and 6 days) I've finally had a call back. “Just Returned From A Well Needed Family Holiday”

“Holiday Disappointment With Rear Facing Rooms ”

As usual,Jet2 delivered but,sadly,the Hotel (The Condes De Alcudia)did not. Having stayed before,we felt confident in booking and taking friends,but the rooms(425 and 429)were quite basic. In room 425 the 2 foot square shower tray was crackedand had a 7 inch mixer tap protruding from the wall. The drains from the shower and the wash basin were fithy and slow to drain, and black fungus/scum showed under the toilet bowl rim(which I cleaned as best I could). “What you get with jet2 holidays”

We have booked 2 holidays with jet2. They are a lot cheaper than other holiday companies. They also give you 22kgs luggage and 10kgs of hand luggage each per person .This is a lot more than other holiday companies they only give 15kgs and charge you more for an extra 5kgs . So that is a big bonus for jet2. The plane itself has more leg room than Thomson and Thomas cook . Both holidays we have done with jet2 we have left on time no delays . I used Jet2 holidays with some reservations after reading some bad reviews about the company. However I was more than happy with the service provided. The 22kg luggage allowance is brilliant, I went to Majorca with my wife and 18 month old girl and we needed the large allowance. The check in went smoothly and the flight departed on time. “Great value for money!!”

Went with hubby to Portugal twice last year booked with Jet2 Holidays! Great flights, comfortable with enough leg room for him ( I'm only 5'3"). Staff are really friendly when you arrive at the airport and there is no waiting/hassle when checking in - on the return flight home checking in was easy and trouble free as all the staff are efficient and friendly! We stayed at this 5 Star Hotel also with a package from Jet2.com. , in December 2012. What a difference it was when we booked to stay in March 2013 for 2 weeks. To say the food had gone downhill was an understatement. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, no complaints.The tea and Coffee machines dispense half cups (already small cups) and you have to make 2 or 3 trips to get a drink fully. At very short notice my wife and I booked a 10-day half-board holiday from the Jet 2 brochure staying at the 4-star Vulcano Hotel at Playa de las Americas in Tenerife. Booked a hotel room based on photos and info on website. Rooms appeared spacious and description said "Balcony or Otaman [sic] balcony". Actual room was broom cupboard sized and no balcony. Complained to reception following day, Jet 2 rep the day after and emailed Jet 2 in the UK also. No help whatsoever. In fact we got messed around horribly - but no room move.
