“Ive tried a few!”

Written on: 29/11/2011

Ive tried a few of these sites over the years, sad but true! I currently use sexcontactsclub , yeah sure there are the usual fakes ive found them on every site of this kind, it happens, but what i like about this site is the chatrooms, with members actually appearing on cam! You cannot fake that! And trust me they aint no models! Very real… Read Full Review

“These sites should be closed down by consumer protection.”

Written on: 07/10/2011

I joined this website yesterday and have somehow regreted it by now, today I received 15 messages from people without pictures sending me very generic messages to tell me that they have just joined and I should go check out their profile, none appear to have checked out mine. Half of the profiles have since been deactivated, it is blatantly obvious that those emails are being generated by the people running this website and do not reflect actual traffic or people subscribed to this service… Read Full Review

White Label Dating are closely allied to Global Personals, based in Windsor, which is probably the biggest player in the UK-based internet dating market. According to a Radio 4 programme in which they were featured, rather too positively in my opinion, they are behind thousands of websites so if you are looking to start looking for a partner on-line your chances of running into them are very high indeed.

“DO NOT JOIN ANY SITE RUN BY WHITE LABEL DATING ”

Written on: 28/09/2011

What a con, useless site full of idiots. Had abusive messages from people who then blocked me so it is impossible to report the users when you go through support they brush it off and don't care. They also claim to be specialist sites but it is one big database so you won't be joining a specialist christian site or bbw site… Read Full Review

Written on: 28/08/2011

White label dating is a complete rip off, they continue to launch website after website. Forbidden flirt is just another typical site of theirs. Just a suggestion, before you register with a dating/sex site, just take the time to see who is supposed to be behind the site and check the addresses, even the company addresses as this will enable you to determine a few truths. WHITE LABEL DATING, STAY CLEAR… Read Full Review

“Sham, rip off, full of fakes”

Written on: 24/08/2011 by FoveaCentralis (2 reviews written)

Rockxdate is one of many 'dating' websites under the umbrella of Global Personals. Utter waste of time (and money if you join up). The site is riddled with fake 'profiles' presumably to try and get you interested enough to take out a paid subscription. You even receive emails from inactive 'member's' - yeah, that's clever isn't it?! It's a recurring payment service and they will just take your money every month until you cancel. Try telephoning the customer service number, and surprise… Read Full Review

Written on: 12/12/2011

So so true. Really pleased to see the Global Personals connection highlighted as this company now dominates the UK internet dating scene and appears to have no scruples whatsoever. They were recently given a major 'plug' on Radio 4 by a programme that really should know better. The sooner someone reports then to Trading Standards the better.

PS These guys were recently the subject of an ASA ruling over their Veggiedates site. Apparently it contained meat-eaters.

“Plenty of Size”

Written on: 07/08/2011

Having recently joined Plety of Size, I now discovered that most of the people who chat are on a different website to me. How can this be you might ask? Well I can tell you - your profile is shared to a huge hub of sites. So this might be ok for some but when someone asks how you are getting on with blah blah.com - you say I don’t have a profile on there and it all becomes only too clear. I am a larger woman and on a more general dating site its maybe slightly harder to attract… Read Full Review

Too true. I joined the site these jokers run for slim people and found the users to be anything but. For some reason overweight men go for me the way cats go for people who are allergic and I'd really wanted to get away from it.

“A site of fakes”

Written on: 28/06/2011 by lm1973 (4 reviews written)

White Label Dating like Easy Date employ people to send fake messages to guys in order to drives revenues. None of their sites are dating services and should be avoided at all costs. For this reason you can give no more than the lowest score for any of their hundreds of dating sites. 1 out of 5, but it really should get zero... It is bordering of criminal… Read Full Review

“data protection”

Written on: 26/06/2011

I joined 'truedate' in 2006, which I cancelled after about six months, and have been on no others since. Recently it was brought to my attention that I was on a site called 'singles365' and when I checked it out, simply by joining as a member of the opposite sex, i saw myself, with my original profile and photo but with a user name which I had never used, and masses of messages and winks! I did the same with 'truedate' and there I was. Using the 'contact us' facility I discovered that the… Read Full Review

It's about time the BBC's Watchdog programme did an undercover invesigation on British company Global Personals Inc (White Label Dating), setting up a boring profile with a dowdy-looking but not obviously outlandish profile, and looking at all of the fake winks and unreadable messages from corporate messagebots resembling models, from just a mile away from your location. Then BBC investigators should swallow the bait, sign up, and realise that alll of the enticing "will you subscribe" winks and emails were bullh*it designed to make even the most junappealing loser feel like a sexgod. Once he signs up, he will get nothing, until it's auto-renewal time when more bot generations will get him hooked.

The whole "autorenewal" scam needs to be looked at. It's difficult nye-on-impossible to leave before the autorenewal date, even when you check the small print.

The directors of White Label Dating / Global Personals should be arrested by the UK Police on serious fraud charges, but it's hardly likely to happen. Can you seriously imagine PM David Cameron passing a new law to help stop sad loveless "British subjects" from losing cash cos of corporate crime.

Does anybody know the contact details of the producer of Watchdog?

They don't even bother changing the details in the fake accounts. One mailed with me for 6 hours untill I gave an email address, then silence, then account disabled. I have demanded a refund and to cancel my membership, but they write I need to phone. No way, I did not need to phone to sign up.

I was a member untill I discovered there's a network of Russian fraudsters using the site. When I notified them of the problem, they blocked my access to the site because I was going to warn other members that it's a dangerous site. Bad luck white label! White Label Dating A.K.A Global Personals is a scam, I know - I used to work there. Many members you chat to are fake people. They previously had a team of people who just sat there all day every day including weekends writing to members. These are called pseudos (fake people)...And if you're a MALE member of one of their adult sites, ie Marital Affair - DON'T BOTHER - there's pretty much no real women actively using the site - hence that's why they'll NEVER meet with you and disappear after a… Read Full Review

I am a guy, have been a member of a local newspaper advertised white label site twice in the last 18 months (including 4 paid up months)and can honestly say it has been a brilliant experience. I have met some wonderful ladies, though sadly none have developed into life long relationship yet. I have just parted with another £24.95 and so far within a week I have had 3 scammers. The first nearly had me fooled. Well written email, the 2nd email had flaws ie put 'his' dob and star sign in brackets which did not match. There were other things like not answering any questions from me.
