The Nokia 5110 mobile phone was, for many people, their first "proper" digital mobile phone.
I got mine after SIX previous different models of phone that never lasted more than two
months, and although old even when I got it; I had very few complaints with it.
You still see thousands around, which must be testament to their longevity.
I replaced mine only when the screen started going blank. (Solved with masking tape around the headpiece)… Read Full Review

There is honestly nothing I like about the nokia 5110 phone. The ringtones, games, the covering even. I would even go for no phone at all. I hate the phone… Read Full Review

I have had my nokia 5110 phone for a while now and it is a very good model to use.
The only problem with it is you can not make or up load ring tones but as there are 30+ ring tones and a very good quality you won't need to up load ring tones… Read Full Review

The 5110 was my first Nokia, and a major advance on the Motorola Memphis which had been my first mobile. Delighted at the wider choice of tones particularly the musical ones, the changeable covers and enjoyed playing Snake and Memory. However, with not being able to download or compose any tones, I did feel I was missing out on something.
Still, it was a good basic introduction to Nokia phones and, like all Nokias, it had that easy to navigate menu system and if you missed a call, it was much… Read Full Review

The Nokia 5110 is a great phone. I got mine 2 years ago and i still have it (in a cupboard somewhere!!). Although i now have 3330, i still take my 5110 to school, downtown etc. The removable facias can make your 5110 that bit more special. Also the downloadable logos can let YOU express YOUR feelings… Read Full Review

I have had this mobile phone for ages now, and believe me its had quite a bashing! it still looks good, and its lasted really well. compared to todays mobile phones, its nothing special, but its fine for those ppl who simply want a basic mobile. its not all that expensive, but it has quite a few features, so, no...i wouldnt discourage you from buying it… Read Full Review

I had the Nokia 5110 mobile phone for the last two years. As mobile phone goes it works great. The battery life is fantastic. On one charge it has a standby time of about one week. Even after two years, with some battery care the standby time remains unchanged. I highly recommend it for those who recharge their phone infrequently.
Unfortunately, being "old" technology, the phone is larger than some of the newer models. With a leather case, the phone is quite large, and would be difficult… Read Full Review

Interesting Incidents of my Nokia 5110: It was a 1998 make, I was cheated by a foreign goods seller as new piece. I bought in Apr-01 for INR 4400. I gifted to my wife. I'm satisfied with the performance. Even if it gets dropped, it is working fine without any problem… Read Full Review

this was a good phone at the time, and remains so today due to it's customizability and battery life- mines nigh-on 2 years old and has one overnight charge to last the whole week!
the only significant problem with this mobile was that on both of them that i had, there was a problem with the actual phone, where the battery clips on.it wore away a bit, allowing the battery to slide slightly, and disconnect itself frequently during calls, texting etc...
i think it gave good reception and good audio… Read Full Review

The Nokia 5110 is indestructible, but heavy. The menus are very easy to navigate though it has hardly any features. It's actually fairly waterproof too. The sort of phone you can sling in the bottom of a bag and not worry about, unlike a lot of 'modern' pieces of plastic four times the price… Read Full Review

well i first bought this mobile phone in the year 2000, i had the choice of either a nokia 5110 or a nokia 3210, i bought the nokia 5110 because i had reviews of the 3210 being bad for reception, it was because my friend gave me one for a birthday and i hated it, i sold it a week later, i still kept my 5110, although it doesnt have many features it is a great phone, it is a pretty old digital so it doesnt have composer and it doesnt get tones, but it is a great reliable phone, i have dropped it… Read Full Review

This mobile is ok. not the best phone around, but you have to consider that it came out 3 years ago. Good price considering all the features. The games get a bit boring but that's ok, I hardly ever use them. The only real problem is the battery size. it's huge! Otherwise the phone would be very slim… Read Full Review
