For the sake of better information, I'm rewriting a new review on the Winchester 800x.
My first review of this rifle was based on my then first experience of shooting air rifles. And now after months of shooting, gaining some better experience, and understanding more about the rifle I had in my ...

I have the Brazilian made Daisy Winchester 800X. To me this rifle is a very rugged built gun, so if all you want is something to beat the bush with and make a respectable shot within 25 yards and don't mind toten a weighty airgun around the woods then I'd guess this guns for you. It has excessive b ...

The Daisy Winchester 800X gun is a power house. It's .177 break barrel
I love to go hunting and this gun does the trick. Recently while dove hunting a dove landed about 25 yards away in a tree. I loaded up the 800x with a Eun Jing 16.1 grain pellet and put the cross hairs(excellent scope comes with ...

I'm an avid hunter and the Winchester/ DAISY Winchester 800X knocks any squirrel rabbit chipmunk or bird right down from 50-60 yards. It has great accuracy for the money, the only really bad downfall is the trigger but after shooting it a while you get used to it and find the sweet spot.

I bought a Winchester 800X a while ago and it is great. I work on a farm and I go and shoot pigeons once in a while and it works great. This gun is a humane way to kill birds (it will kill them in one shot). I was doing a little plinking a while ago and I saw a piece of 1/2 inch plywood that was ...

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That is, according to my chronograph.
Anyway, this rifle averages 850 fps at the muzzle using Crossman hollow points. Here are the numbers as measured at 3 yards: 799/819/816/800/808/803/808/814/803/823 with a mean deviance of only 24 fps (Fe ...

There are two versions of the DAISY Winchester 800X rifle; an early one made in Brazil and the current ones made in Turkey. The Brazilian model has a much nicer stock with a single large finger groove and Lt / Rt cheek rest (I shoot left-handed). Trigger pull on both are very poor. The Turkish mo ...

I first got the DAISY Winchester 800X air rifle because I love to shoot and live in the city, I was very, very happy with the detail and finish of the rifle really great quality for the price, I thought shooting a target would reveal why this rifle was so cheap but no this baby is very accurate.
I ...

I thought I'd write a review from an "old guy's" point of view, i.e.: from someone who needs glasses. If you're under thirty read something else. If you're over 30 or wear glasses, read on.
Why? Because those of us in the latter category know only too well how hard it is to sight a scopeless rifle ...

This is a great air rifle, but I live in a humid area and it gets rusty fast so I have to oil it periodically, it is very very accurate, I shoot more than 10 yds and I can still hit the bulls eye. But if you put a big scope is hard to unlock the safety. I have a 4x32 bsa and is dead accurate in pron ...
