Great bike although faulty batch and issues with the front folks! Recall issue, but not explained to me till I got there (60 mile round trip) Anyhow now without a bike for potentially 5 days with a derisory £50 voucher to spend for the inconvenience! Not told till I got there that they didn't have a replacement on site which was ridiculous! Simply shows the poor level of customer service by Evans bearing in mind the cost of the bike. Delightful people at Evans made my calls easy and I felt welcome. In my experience it's rare to find such outstanding customer service these days, Evans certainly have the magic touch. Ironically, I used other well known companies for my first couple of attempts to purchase a bike, both bitterly disappointing. I hoped I'd be third time lucky, I wasn't disappointed. Evans cycles is for me a very very good website to acquire bike equipment, clothes and accessories. Also their customer service answer all your emails, in a short period of time, and if you have a problem with some product, they solve you the concern with the best solution for you. “Reliable service every time....”

I have bought my second bike at your Notting Hill store today. I want to tell you that I have been using your notting hill store since it opened.Their service has been fab everytime. If there has been any issues that have cropped up in the past, they have always been super quick to correct the problem. “Quick trouble free service”

Last Thursday evening I ordered a Scott Metrix 40 cycle I received notification that it was being built on the Friday, I received further notification that it was being shipped on the Monday, and I received the bike on Tuesday!!! I would highly recommend the Evans Brentford High Street Branch. The Customer care was superb. “In store - Great. Online - Apalling”

I have have experienced great customer care in store but when it comes to ordering online or by telephone...well just don't. You will receive numerous e-mails promising deliveries that never materialize.Calling customer care is useless. The stock availability online is simply not to be trusted. They will take payments for bikes they do not possess. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing a bike to only buy from a store where you leave with the bike. I ordered a bike costing 400 pounds with expedited delivery because I was taking it on holiday. It arrived just over one week before my departure, but unfortunately it was damaged. All the paint was flaking off the front forks - something which when fitting say the tyre or brakes to the bike surely must have been very very noticeable. “Extremely poor customer care”

I have bought few bikes from them and never had a problem until four months ago when I notified them about a cracked frame. It has been the worst experience. I am an older woman who loves to bike, i wanted a better bike. I went into Evans Milton Keynes. I think any cycle shop will be a "man's enviroment", I wasnt wrong, however, all the staff who helped me were courteous, and yes very helpfull.They all encouraged me to try however many cycles i wanted to. “Don't use on-line delivery!”

I had a bike delivered via the website to my house that was so badly put together I had to take it to the Edinburgh store to get fixed. The staff to start with couldn't believe that one of their employees had put it together so poorly. Awful customer service. I bought a bike at Evans Cycles whose chain and derailleur broke. I took it back to the shop in the hope it would be repaired under it's warranty. First they said they would repair it in a day. The next day they said it would take two weeks. Two weeks later I rang the manager. He hadn't even heard of me or my bike. “Appalling customer relations”

My partner bought me a £55 voucher for a silver service at the Canary Wharf branch of Evans. I went in to book it but, as is usual for that particular branch, the wait was a week. During this time, my bike was stolen. I cancelled the service immediately and have since been trying to have my voucher refunded. This has proved an absurdly frustrating experience. Ordered two bikes for our kids' birthdays - Evans quoted 3-5 days delivery, but a week later, no bikes., I emailed Evans - no reply, so I called and was told someone would get back the next day. “Non existent customer service and false advertising”

Emailed Evans 'Customer Services' regarding their £50 of free clothing and accessories if you spend £300-£1000 on selected bikes (which is advertised on their website not via a third party) I have tried this using dummy basket and always gives the message 'spend £500-£1000 on selected bikes.......' In short I have tried this with well over 10 bikes over £300 and some over £500 and the offer is clearly incorrect or doesnt actually exist at all which I believe would be illegal in some way… Read Full Review
