When my Fuji Track bike frame cracked around the seat tube (rendering it impossible to clamp the seat post - although I did keep cycling with a giant jubilee clip ...), I thought I would have to go in search of a local welder. “Returning Goods.”

I purchased several items from Evanscycles last weekend and returned home to Spain, after a lot of deliberation I decided to return a Garneau Massimo Wind jacket for something more thermal, I rang the shop to resolve the matter but because I purchased the jacket in a shop I couldn't post it back as I had hoped. “Rubbish company rubbish service”

I bought 2 bikes online from this company, I received my confirmation email that my order was being dispatched, this never materialised. I rang countless times to chase up the order every time being told no manager was available and they would call back, nobody ever did. Eventually one of the bikes arrived, opened the box and it was full of scratches, again spoke to customer services and again was put through the same bulls@it. I have bought items from Evans in Leeds City Centre a few times and I am always impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff are. “Upsold on Silver service!”

I put two bikes in for a service in a West London Branch. The bikes were then outsourced to another service shop for the services. I received a call from the service shop with an update on the bikes. I was informed that I would need new brake blocks on bike 1 and a new chain. I was happy about the new chain but felt my brake blocks were fine (I can replace them myself anyway). Very friendly and accomodating staff - Paul and Jack. Covered all the basics of bike maintenance with fun and enthusiasm and passed on some very useful tips. It is a great sadness that Evans' customer service has deteriorated to such an extent that their sales team are unfortunately frequently rude and are not aware of their own company's promotions or current prices. “Lost my bike!”

Ordered a bike, took 4 days for it to be picked up for delivery. Sent an email to the delivery company (Nightfreight) and sent a message to EvansCycles contact center after a further 6 days had past without seeing bike to which I have not had a reply. Evans have written to me asking for money they think I have not paid. 'a small number of credit card transactions in the last year failed to complete'. this is an absolute lie as I have evidence I have paid these charges. they are even offering 25% off for me to pay. “Don't Stock parts for a 2010 Bike.”

Asked for a replacement Hanger and derailer for Pinnacle mean streak 1.0 which is as far as I know their own brand. Reply I got ( bought the bike mid 2011 ) "Unfortunately as we do not sell this bike we are unlikely so sell a compatible one on the site" I have to go through the special parts who may be able to source this. Right at firs I gave my bike in to the Evans cycles in Liverpool hanover street on Saturday because the frame was cracked, and they said that thy would send off punctures off to CSG of the bike, it took them till tuesday to send the pictures, since Saturday the said they will contact me and haven't, they orders the frame for Wednesday (because it's on warranty) and when I get the frame, they wantedto charge me £45 to fit the parts onto the frame then I said no because I didn't have the money… Read Full Review
