I have had my saxo vtr for 2yrs now and it is the new type 98bhp type, I have fitted uprated springs, dampers and shocks and the car handles amazingly although the back end likes to get "twitchy" when under heavy cornering, I have mildly tuned it with a sealed carbon fibre induction filter, stainles ...

Overall the best hot hatch in its class with the best value for money.
Performance puts the rest of the superminis in its class (the corsa for instance) to shame
The saxo is such a 'fun' car to drive and looks the part - DONT KNOCK IT TILL YOU'VE TRIED IT!!!!!!

Shopping around for insurance helps. It was my first car and it cost me £1700 for first year and my second year only £899.

ok, so go down any local cinema on a friday night and you'll see an abundance of these things with "supersport" stickers, oversized wheels (bought on halfords finance, no doubt), ICE falling out of the boot, and a young lad wearing a baseball cap doing the driving.
