For my Cloverfield review I can honestly say I really don't know what to make of the movie as I neither loved it or hated it. On one hand; the plot was one dimensional, the story undeveloped and the ending somewhat blunt, but then on the other hand it was a truly original piece of film making and on ...

Cloverfield is almost a hybrid of Blair Witch and Godzilla, which, although it may sound pretty cheesy, is actually very good. A possible contender for one of the best films of the year.

The whole movie sucked. Only the explosions and action and actually seeing the monster were the only good bits. It bored the hell out of me. Please, America. Leave the city-destroying-out-of-this-world monsters to the Japanese. Please.

I can see why some people may be disappointed by this film as the plot basically consists of the main characters trying to get away from a monster, however I thought it was really well made. A far cry from those films of the same ilk - Godzilla, King Kong etc; Cloverfield is a harrowing depiction of ...

What is the point? The most talked about part of the film is the hugely annoying and unnecessary way it was recorded and filmed, this is not for those who suffer from travel sickness or have trouble with inner ear balance.....go and watch another film.....but not Sweeney Todd........boy is that a le ...

Cloverfield is a very interesting film, really pulls you in and leaves you wanting to see more. Overall film is well presented and entwined. Got a lot going for it. Good the way they tried to film it differently.

I don't usually watch thrillers but this film was intriguing enough for me to go to the cinema. I was not disappointed. I was gripped from start to finish, as was the rest of the audience, who were silent throughout. I'm not going to give a synopsis because I believe you will enjoy the film more ...

The cinema is the place to see this film because of the effects and the vibrations which you get when sitting in your seat. Wasn't going to see Cloverfield as thought the trailer looked rubbish but after a few people raved about it i thought i would give it a shot. Bit far fetched for my liking with ...

I have never been to the cinema where everyone - and I mean everyone, left without saying anything apart from negative comments. The most frequent comments we noted were "What a waste of time", "We've been stitched-up..." and "We could have seen Sweeney Todd instead, wish we had".... There was ...

Just got back from the cinema. Didn't really connect with the characters, didn't care if they died or not. I thought Rob the main character was meant to be intelligent - just got a VP job, but he makes stupid decisions and he friends and the authorities let him get away with it - all for love. The j ...
