There is no guarantee that Viagogo can supply you with any kind of ticket. The company are just middle men selling tickets that they are not guaranteed to sell. I bought tickets a month in advance, where it clearly said that tickets were available. “Would not recommend”

We bought our tickets about 4 months before the night out, was all confirmed, tickets paid for etc. Then 2 weeks before night we got an email to say the sellers had pulled out and they would offer us tickets further way and refund £20! It's more than possible that the lady sitting next to you had ordered tickets from the same seller who had let Viagogo down. Viagogo only act as the middle man between buyer and seller and are at the mercy of the seller. More power to Viagogo for honouring their guarantee and finding you tickets for the event.

Hi totally agree we went from Glasgow to Leeds on sun 24th Nov paid £179.00 for 2 tickets & got £45 tickets seats terrible stuck up almost on the ceiling couldn't even see the big screen as had this thing hanging down covering the middle of it. have never used viagogo before & thought I was buying tickets from genuine company. RIP OFFS. gutted.

Viagogo act as a middle man between buyer and seller. They never see the tickets, therefore they have no way of knowing if they are fake or not. If the tickets were fake ofcourse they will refund you, but they do need proof that you were refused entry - that's obvious. Once they have the proof they will offer you a full refund and they seller will not get paid.
Yes, Viagogo is based in Switzerland which is not a third world banana republic. It's one of the most law-abiding countries in the world.
They have refunded you for the tickets you were able to prove were fakes and have offered you a 50% refund on the one you have no proof for, which is actually above and beyond their call of duty. What else do you expect them to do?

First of all, who actually are you?
If you work for Viagogo you really have to brush up on your customer service skills.

If you don't work for them, only 1 word for it -Sad!

As I am not going to get in a discussion with someone with no customer service skills, I would just like to clarify a few points for any other customers reading this review.

1. Viagogo offer a 100% ticket guarantee.
2. At no point did I say Switzerland was a 3rd world banana republic- these we're Andiamo's words.
3. This company is based in Switzerland, so it is difficult to get support from Trading Standards and any EU authority.
4. I have actually received a FULL refund for ALL the tickets purchased.
5. Unfortunately the police in Turkey did not stop to write me a letter to state I had fake tickets.
6. I still have 2 of the tickets in my possession.
7. I travelled half way across the world to see this event.

I would like a reply from a trained member of staff from Viagogo please.

“Did exactly what they said they'd do”

Had been hunting for reasonably priced last minute tickets for Richard II at Stratford. Finally found them, the day before we wanted to go. Not only good price (Viagogo added £15 fees - fair enough) but arrived by special delivery on the day. This, despite Royal Mail sending them to the wrong sorting office and having to redirect them!! “Rip Off”

I purchased tickets to see Elton John in Las Vegas which were very expensive but I assumed that the seats would be brilliant for the price we paid...wrong! They were the cheapest seats, right at the back, the mark up on them was outrageous and to top it off I had no choice but to pay and extra £40 to have them couriered. “Awesome site and great tickets for Beyonce concert”

I was a little skeptical at the beginning as I got Platinum tickets for $50 each less than the original price. Once I confirmed the booking I received the tickets as eTickets so I had them right away. The viagogo staff assured me they are true tickets and if not i was covered by their guarantee. “Do not trust VIAGOGO they lie and take money fradulentlly”

Me and my friends purchased 6 tickets 30 days ago, to go to a Dortmund football match tomorrow. We were supposed to receive the tickets, but we never did. Viagogo blames the reseller. It's a shame that somebody of Viagogo stills trying to clean their name on the net after a day like last saturday. It's also a shame that this person, don't sign his comment, because probably don't know what is he talking about because probably he wasn't at Barcelona disorder. There were more than 100 people with no tickets, I don't think there is a small number of buyers. There is no point on compensation that can repare to be a weekend abroad spending huge amounts of money to only see a match that you'll never get a ticket for. NEVER WILL USE VIAGOGO AGAIN

Had the wickedest seats - awesome!! and have certainly spread the word :) My only issue was that it took a few hours for my tickets to be emailed through and then I couldn't print them.
