“excellent service”

Written on: 07/01/2014

I had not heard of viagogo prior to purchasing tickets for the ashes cricket test in Melbourne Australia on 26th January 2014. These tickets turned out to be sensational tickets with front row seats. The ease of use printing straight from an email, I would certainly recommend to a friend… Read Full Review

“Incompetent at getting tickets to me in time.”

Written on: 06/01/2014

On December 18, 2013 I ordered theatre tickets from the U.S. for a hot play in London for January 2, 2014. On Christmas Day Viagogo placed pick up order with UPS to send tickets to me in the U.S. They should know, since they are London based, that UPS in UK is closed on December 25 and December 26th. UPS finally picked them up on the afternoon of December 27th. Arrived in the U.S. on January 4th. Tickets were for a play in London on January 2nd. They were in my mail box in the U.S. when I… Read Full Review

Written on: 14/01/2014

That's correct, I received the tickets six hours before the event and could attend the match.

However, I'm not happy with the service, once it was stressful and time consuming during my vacation with the familiy.

I only got an answer from viagogo when I sent 10 messages (after the ones I had already sent) and start commenting on the Internet how bad the service is.

“So glad I used Viagogo!!!!!”

Written on: 03/01/2014 by Walkergirl (1 review written)

Was extremely nervous using this online agency for the first time - found great tickets to Justin Bieber, paid my money and then prayed I hadn't been taken for a ride!!!!! After a couple of anxious weeks, my tickets arrived safely to my local post office and I couldn't be happier!!!! Will definitely use this service again as it sure beats having to line up for ticket releases and I ended up paying less the face value for the tickets anyway!!!! Thanks Viagogo!!!!… Read Full Review

Here the information: Transaction ID 3736140 is confirmed (ref:36161721).
In specific I did buy the thickets, and the tickets were not delivered to me, I called the shipping company (OCA) with the reference number viagogo gave me, and they had a different shipping address than the one I wrote in the request, I do not know why that happened, SO Im claiming to get my money back.

I am happy to say that even before you contacted me via review centre I received details on how to request a refund. After submitting my evidence through your process I received my refund. Thank you for this. It was a just tad slow to confirm what was happening. Anyhow thanks again for the customer satisfaction.

“Paid too much money and still don't have tickets. awful”

Written on: 26/12/2013

ABSOLUTELY NO communication. I have emailed multiple times and heard nothing back. I received one completely unhelpful email yesterday. I want the problem fixed and my tickets sent to the correct address. I paid my money, how hard is it to get them to me. Or respond to an email especially when i pay 250 aud for 80 aud tickets. I want someone to answer my questions or give me a refund for undelivered tickets. No matter how desperate you are to see a show, unless you have much money to burn and… Read Full Review

As a present for our son and his visiting australian friend, we applied for tickets for the boxing day match Manchester City -v-Liverpool from Manchester City partners VIAGOGO. My wife found 2 seats and tried to purchase them, but payment refused and transaction cancelled. So she tried again this time it was confirmed, then 20 minutes later an email stating payment had not been authorised this was all done before lunch on Fri 6 Dec 2013. Doesn't sound as if Viagogo is being very helpful at all. Why don't you list them for sale? At the very least you may get your money back. (It's free to list tickets).

Unfortunately, it states on the back of the tickets, that it is a criminal offence to re-sell them. Viagogo, wont transfer us to a supervisor, thier contact us links are disabled, having read more reviews on this bunch, Watchdog and the press are a definate approach.

As Viagogo have entered a partnership with Manchester City it's perfectly legal to list or buy tickets on their site. If they didn't have a re-selling agreement with Manchester City you wouldn't have been able to buy the tickets in the first place!

No - I don't work for them! Only trying to be helpful. If you're not happy giving Viagogo your business you could check out Seatwave, Stubhub or Getmein and see if they have a selling agreement with MC.
It is only illegal to sell the tickets without the permission of the home club.
Honestly, all the big re-selling companies are the same and although sites like this make it look as if they are totally incompetent the majority of buyers are happy with the service. You have to remember that they all sell thousands of tickets every day and a very small minority of buyers are unhappy. You have obviously been the victim of a computer glitch and I am surprised that Viagogo haven't been more helpful. Are you sure their original email didn't say that they were still trying to get authorization on your card?

“Lost my money”

Viagogo act as a middle man between buyer and seller. They never see the tickets, therefore they have no way of knowing if they are fake or not. If the tickets were fake ofcourse they will refund you, but they do need proof that you were refused entry - that's obvious. Once they have the proof they will offer you a full refund and they seller will not get paid.
Yes, Viagogo is based in Switzerland which is not a third world banana republic. It's one of the most law-abiding countries in the world.
They have refunded you for the tickets you were able to prove were fakes and have offered you a 50% refund on the one you have no proof for, which is actually above and beyond their call of duty. What else do you expect them to do?

Hi,

First of all, who actually are you?
If you work for Viagogo you really have to brush up on your customer service skills.

If you don't work for them, only 1 word for it -Sad!

As I am not going to get in a discussion with someone with no customer service skills, I would just like to clarify a few points for any other customers reading this review.

1. Viagogo offer a 100% ticket guarantee.
2. At no point did I say Switzerland was a 3rd world banana republic- these we're Andiamo's words.
3. This company is based in Switzerland, so it is difficult to get support from Trading Standards and any EU authority.
4. I have actually received a FULL refund for ALL the tickets purchased.
5. Unfortunately the police in Turkey did not stop to write me a letter to state I had fake tickets.
6. I still have 2 of the tickets in my possession.
7. I travelled half way across the world to see this event.

I would like a reply from a trained member of staff from Viagogo please.

Regards

Had been hunting for reasonably priced last minute tickets for Richard II at Stratford. Finally found them, the day before we wanted to go. Not only good price (Viagogo added £15 fees - fair enough) but arrived by special delivery on the day. This, despite Royal Mail sending them to the wrong sorting office and having to redirect them!! I purchased tickets to see Elton John in Las Vegas which were very expensive but I assumed that the seats would be brilliant for the price we paid...wrong! They were the cheapest seats, right at the back, the mark up on them was outrageous and to top it off I had no choice but to pay and extra £40 to have them couriered.
