“Dreadful! Useless! DO NOT USE! ”

I bought my Justin Timberlake tickets ((1st April)last year unfortunatley due to the death of my father I couldnt attend the concert, I decided to sell my tickets through this rubbish organisation! This was the worst decision I ever made! It's dead simple - check the email that Seatwave sent you with the sale confirmation. It will tell you which tickets were sold. You can also check your account on the Seatwave website which will show which tickets you listed.
Seatwave really is an honourable company, and if you have all the proof they will pay you for the sold tickets within 10 days of the concert.

Thanks for your advice.
I have all my proof, I also logged into my seatwave account this morning and my listing was there but when I checked this afternoon my listing had disappeared from the account. Luckily I have copies.
Just have to wait and see what they say, if they are as "honourable" as you say they are I shouldn't have a problem. But I'm not the first person this has happened to I definatly won't be the last.

One of our main priorities at Seatwave is to be completely transparent, this is why we have strict terms and conditions in place for both parties.

By listing a ticket with us, you are committing to supply that ticket; which means that you are making and communicating an offer to sell that ticket. When a Buyer agrees to buy the ticket, he or she is accepting your offer, and the transaction is binding on the parties and you are required to supply a ticket to the Buyer.

If, for any reason, you fail to fulfil on the contract you have entered into in respect of the sale of your ticket to the Buyer, you agree that we can deduct payment from your credit/debit card or account balance with us, for expenses or charges that we incur in finding a replacement ticket or providing a refund.

You further agree that we can set off any amount you owe us against any monies owing to you that we hold at any time. Please see clause 9 in our UserAgreement (Financial Consequences) for further information.

Once you have created the listing, your tickets will remain visible on our site for sale and if you chose to use your tickets yourself after all and these haven't sold by then, you would need to delete the listing first to avoid double selling.

We do appreciate that this might not be the news you wanted to hear and we are sorry that we cannot inform you otherwise.

I provided my tickets to seatwave I dropped them off to the o2 seatwave office and received a receipt for them.

You sold your tickets elsewhere but didn't think to remove your listing from Seatwave. Seems you didn't have a thought for any poor potential buyer who had no idea that the tickets they were paying for were no longer available. Seatwave useless? They can only work with the information you give them. The company is one of the big success stories of the 21st Century, but even they are not clairvoyant.

If you read it properly then you would have realised that I corrected my error and re-bought my tickets so I could provide them to the person who bought them online. So how is that useless!!
I gave them the correct information once again read what I wrote instead of coming to your own conclusions!
I'm only sharing my bad experience.

I think I did read your comments correctly - this is the first time you have mentioned re-buying your tickets.
Please read MY comments - I didn't say anywhere that you were useless, only that Seatwave are NOT useless.
They sell thousands of tickets every day and most of their mishaps are because of sellers' mistakes. The amount of complaints compared to the amount of sales is minute.
As the other poster mentioned, if they have made an error and you have all your proof there will be no problems in obtaining a refund. They are not a fly-by-night company.
The only thing I don't understand is how they could have sold your tickets on the day of the concert unless you had posted them to Seatwave for a Last Minute Sale. Do you think there may be something wrong with your email account and you are not receiving emails on the day they are sent?

“bad experience with Seatwave”

Rated low because: . We were not kept informed on the status of the tickets (Hong Kong 7's rugby tickets), we tried contacting Seatwave many times before getting an answer. . The tickets were not delivered as promised and we had too pick them up from the Regal hotel. . Until the very last minute we didn't know if there would be any tickets at all. Seatwave is a marketplace where people can buy and sell tickets. This means that we at Seatwave do not sell the tickets ourselves and all the tickets listed come from fans and distributors around the world.

We can assure you that we have strict terms and conditions in place as well as penalty charges to ensure sellers are aware of the financial consequences when supplying anything different from what was purchased or worst, not fulfilling the sale, as this is damaging our brand.

We would like to assure you that it is a rare occurrence that sellers are not able to fulfil the sale as advertised and we appreciate the disappointment that this situation has caused to you.

We believe in offering a great service and it's very clear that you feel we've let you down in this case however, we would like to assure you that we as a marketplace have done everything we can to try and rectify the situation, that was caused by the original seller letting us both down.

Bought a very HARD-TO-FIND ticket to Real Madrid X Barcelona (Football) held at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid, Spain on March 2014. I purchased the ticket online 2 days before the event and received my ticket through email within 4 hours. “4 days of headaches”

I tried for 4 days to order through Seatwave. I had an original order but was sent an email to call them by 5pm that day or my order may be cancelled. No number was given. Many emails back and forth but my contact would send back spam reply's that were no help at all. I tried ordering new tickets but the system would not let me so I eventually gave up. “Terrible CUSTOMER service ”

I have been in touch with your website on numerous occasions asking for help, you just send back your set script e-mails,thanks for your e-mail we're be in touch haha,never do,just keep sending the same set e-mail,out of pure frustration of no-one actually answering my queries I telephoned your O2 ticket collection office,where I found the most helpful person,who was on her lunch break,and still bearing in mind this was not her job,she actually took time to explain everything to me,that's all I was asking your so called customer service haha assistants to do,I think she should be promoted to CSA as soon as possible in a managerial position,with a massive pay rise to improve your customer service

Just recieved my tickets from Seatwave, Ticket came with actual price on the ticket which was much lower than the price I paid at Seatwave. Seatwave are a third party handler and not the company actually selling the ticket so the prices are much higher than normal. The reason the price stated on the ticket is different to what you have paid is because seatwave is an online marketplace, where people can buy and sell tickets. Prices are set by sellers when they list their tickets on seatwave.

We believe that fans should have the right to do what they want with tickets they have bought, including selling them at the going market rate if they choose to. Sellers can list tickets to any event of their choosing and can select their own selling price. We provide tools that show the market value of their tickets on our exchange over time.

Buyers on our platform have access to the same marketplace information, allowing them to make calculated decisions on seat location and the best time to buy tickets. We have several features on our buying page that help you to narrow your search to your specific requirements. One of those features is a sliding scale price bar where you can select a maximum price and only the tickets within your selected price range will appear so you can choose exactly how much you would like to spend.

We can assure you that the face value is shown for every transaction on the buying page before you go to the next step and enter your payment details.

We’re sorry if you feel this was not clear, as we go to great lengths to develop our website and make it as user friendly and transparent as possible.

We take it very seriously if a seller doesn't supply the tickets as advertised as this is damaging to our brand.

If the specific block and row are unknown to the seller, they would list the tickets accordingly within the section however, without block or row indication in order to not mislead the buyer in thinking they have purchased a specific block/row which then the seller cannot guarantee.

We hope you appreciate that the actual seat numbers cannot be passed on to secure the anonymity of the seller.
