I'm trying to sell via Seatwave 2 tickets to Rock am Ring festival (5-7 June 2009). The tickets were bought by some guy in Nederlands.
As I put the tickets with FedEx, I also put the tracking number on Seatwave website

From Seatwave: Dear Georgina, I am sorry for your frustration in dispatching tickets and also in the lack of response from the team. I can assure you that if you have dispatched the tickets in accordance with the address details supplied to you by your buyer, using a signed-for next day delivery service, which Fedex clearly is, then you do not need to worry about being paid. Strange as it may seem we do occasionally get customers who purchse tickets that they then never collect!

<br/>Please e-mail support@seatwave.com detailing your order number, attaching an invoice for your Fedex costs and marking the e-mail for my attention and I will look further into why your buyer has yet to sign for your tickets.

Ordered 2 tickets off Seatwave for Enrique Iglesias at the o2 LDN. Were easy to order, and thought we had a good deal as got 2 tickets as "deal of the day". Tickets came 2 weeks before the event! When we got there we found the tickets meant we could go through a fast track que! And they were really close on the side of the stage. Had an excellent view. “Seatwave do not fulfill their promise to 'guarantee to...”

Seatwave do not fulfill their promise to 'guarantee to get tickets to you in plenty of time', 4 hours before the concert was due to start they finally admitted they did not have any tickets...too late to do anything. Worst of all tickets arrived on Monday, 2 days after the concert! I have sent 2 e-mails to their Customer support team as requested and am still awaiting any response. From Seatwave: I must admit, I am somewhat confused by this review. I don't understand how we can have admitted that we didn't have tickets, only for them to arrive! I was told by Seatwave we had tickets right up until 4 hours before the concert, at 3 hours they finally admitted there were no tickets for us. “When something goes wrong Seatwave customer service is...”

When something goes wrong Seatwave customer service is absolutely dire. They simply don't reply to emails (I wonder if they've grown bigger than they have been able to cope with), if you call them you're on hold for ages with no indication as to whether you're near the front of the queue.
And worst of all, when you do speak to somebody about your problem (in my case the tickets weren't as good as the website had said) they try and avoid all responsibility, by trying on the line that they are… Read Full Review

From Tom at Seatwave: We take any allegations of fake tickets being offered for sale on our site extremely seriously. On the extremely rare occasions where this has occurred we have immediately black-listed the seller and informed the relevant police authorities. Due to the severe consequences of such an action on the part of our sellers we have to ensure that we have evidence to justify our actions which is why we need to receive the tickets back into our offices in order to be able to take action. I frequently sell tickets on this site and through ebay and it's a toss-up as to which one is the worst. Seatwave do have a good business model in place to allow you to sell tickets and take care of customer calls but it is really their customer service that let's them down. I would say i get replies to around 20% of my email messages and when they say they will look into something and call you back don't let them do this because they NEVER call you back. well personally i havent had a problem selling my tickets and receiving my money. i put my tickets on seatwave and also viagogo so if you try there you might be in luck, you can usually get more money for your tickets on viagogo as when you are buying tickets it doesnt tell you how much the last ones sold for and also you get the money when you send the tickets you dont have to wait til after concert. i put my tickets on both and see which site i get offered more for my tickets and i havent had a problem with either of them

I am writing as a seller of some dancing on ice tickets for O2 arena.I have not yet been contacted by seatwave about sending the sold tickets on.I have written several e-mails which have not been replied to and have also 'phoned ,after hanging on for over 30 mins without my call being answered the line goes dead.

Back in January I ordered expensive concert tickets for tomorrow (29th April, 2009.) By this morning (28th April,2009) they had still not arrived. Eventually I was put through to a customer services operator who said they were 'still awaiting shipment.' Initially Seatwave said they would try to get the tickets to me by tomorrow morning but agreed with me when I said that seemed very unlikely. Seatwave kept me informed when tickets were dispatched and was issued a number to trace them through royal mail. I was very worried after booking tickets for AC/DC on April 21st, 2009 @ M.E.N Arena. I thought the tickets would not come or if they did, they would'nt be real. I was proved very wrong. Tickets came 3 weeks before the gig and they were real. I think you must have misunderstood. The Michael Jackson tickets have not even been printed yet, so there is no way that Seatwave could tell you they are not available. And even if they WERE not available, Seatwave has got months to find you alternative tickets.

There is a ring of untruth about this posting (or maybe it's a language problem). I sell tickets on Seatwave and on several ocassions they have asked if they personally can buy my tickets to fill an order. There is no way that Seatwave would tell a buyer there are no seats available for a concert as far away as August. Even if the seller has let them down (and how would they know at this stage?) there is plenty of time for them to find alternative tickets.

They are good and I thought they made you replace the tickets come what may if you were unable to stand on the deal though reading some of these reviews it doesn't seem so. With regards to the delivery of tickets it is an absolute lottery when they will be delivered by Ticketmaster (remember seatwave are only agents acting on behalf of people like me) I have ordered tickets through Ticketmaster for Beyonce back in December and still no sign yet Cliff… Read Full Review

<br/>We do expect sellers to find alternatives if for any reason they find themselves unable to provide the tickets they listed. In addition we also use our sourcing team to assist if necessary.

<br/>As you have stated, we are changing our fulfilment process - I appreciate your patience as we migrate.
<br/>
<br/>Finally, we charge both buyers and sellers as we offer a service to both - it seems unreasonable to make one side or the other pay for everything. Overall, tickets on our site are extremely well priced compared to our competitors and we work hard to offer excellent value for all.
