“Rip off ”

My daughter wanted to buy a snake I told her if she saved her money she could have one. Hoping the novelty would wear off. However she said enough money to buy a tank and heat lamp etc she purchased the item . In august and we are still waiting. I have rang emailed but no response. She is so upset as she saved really hard for nothing totalk rip off would never buy or recommend this company.

“Do not use this company!”

I ordered items in August. They took money and that was last I heard from them. I've opened dispute with PayPal oo get my money back. Seems from a quick look on here that I a!m very much not alone. As they've even taken their website down that they've packed up and run off with our money. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

“Do not use this company.”

I ordered 6 cans of Johnsons Dog deodorant on May12. £22-65. It's now September 7th and I am still waiting. I have received several excuses every time I have phoned and been promised that it will arrive any day. I understand the company has now closed.

“Competely Unreliable Untrustworthy”

Made our order, it arrived after a few chase up calls to them. The order was 3 items short and have been chasing since the 10th August for those 3 items or a refund. Have rung, have emailed, have threatened, tried everything - now trying my credit card company like a previous customer! They do not respond in any way and they have stolen my money. Why they are allowed to still run the business is incredible! They should be taken off the internet. You are much better off not using Seapets. I recommend you don't!

“Untrustworthy Company - BEWARE do not use”

Ordered item on 24th July 2016 and payment was taken. Goods did not arrive so contacted customer services by email on 3rd August. They agreed refund as THEY could not fulfil order but did not communicate this fact. On 27th August emailed again as refund not on statement. NO reply so am taking matter further with Credit Card Company This company is not to be trusted ...do not use.

“Report to Action Fraud”

Bought goods that never materialised??? Report to Action Fraud if bought online. or police if paid for in store.....they have taken money from loads of people...including me! Took my money last week, knowing full well that they couldn't fulfill the order! The Managing Directors/Owners names and private addresses are public information from companies house. Just search Seapets, then click on the "people" tab. They have had the cheek to report me to other review sites for posting their details "because it is against the review sites policies"....how about it being against the law to take peoples money????

I placed an order on 10th August payment was taken on the 12th but still no order delivered. Have sent e-mails no response and nobody answers the phone. are they now out of business.

I placed an order on the 25th August paid extra for quick delivery as yet it has not arrived . I have sent emails tried calling and had no response . now the web site is down and facebook page has gone . I wish I had read reviews first and just popped to my local pet shop . This looked like a safe site to use but I think I Not . Avoid

“Terrible customer service - AVOID!”

Placed an order 3 weeks ago and still waiting for delivery. Sent 30 emails and left 25 telephone messages ....no response at all. They never answer the phone or even say they have received your emails. I am reporting them to Trading Standards for bad business practices as I have requested the goods promised or a refund and had no response at all. This is a terrible company, totally unprofessional and will take your money and give you nothing. Avoid them at all costs and go spend your money somewhere else. I have no idea how they are still trading. They are a no star company...had to leave one star to do the review.

“Taking money from customers”

This company took my daugher's money and haven't bothered to deliver. Seems to me a right bunch  are running this company. Here's a thought, lets all report them to trading standards and possibly the police. Even if she doesn't get her money back now I am very happy to fight all the way to make sure they stop. You need to telephone trading standards  I will keep posting until everyone gets this message, no matter how often it's deleted. Fuming doesn't begin to describe how I feel about SEAPETS.

“Awful Service”

The prices and products they carry all look good, but be warned they have a terrible reputation for customer service. I have placed one order with them and they took my money for two weeks before dispatching my goods. I had to constantly email them and message them to get any response. I did eventually receive my order but I would never get anything from them again. It looks like at one stage they were pretty good but I would urge people to read their more recent reviews on popular review sites before using them. People that ask for a refund are left waiting for months on some occasions.

“DO NOT BUY”

What a RUBBISH company I made an order waited over a week then contacted the company only to be told they were out of stock and waiting for re stock, no updates from their end. cancelled waited for my money. There was me thinking this might have been a one off so gave them a try again six months later different product not expensive and guess what over a week and I'm still waiting only to be told my product will be sent to me asap, Oh and no updates from sea pets.  I have learned my lesson and I will never spend a penny at sea pets in the future. Please do yourselves a favour do not order as you will be waiting for the postman everyday only to be disappointed, you won't be updated by this company, and all you will end up doing is chasing your product or trying to get your money back. “Disgusting returns policy”

I am writing this in absolute disgust with seapets.co.uk. I purchased a Clix floating training aid and took receipt of it in the middle of June 2016. The product worked well and appeared reasonable quality, however, less than 3 weeks later, with less than half a dozen uses, the item split completely down the seam; with the stitching opening completely and spilling the contents. No problem, I thought, a simple replacement job. I emailed seapets with a photograph; to be told that as the product was over 14 DAYS old, it would not be replaced, despite it clearly being either faulty or not fit for purpose! A floating dog toy afterall should be of sufficient quality to withstand water; and a dog. Consumer rights act letter sent; but I am left absolutely disgusted with seapets customer service. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs

“Terrible Company”

I have been using this company on and off for years now but the last transaction has made me run a mile. Spent over £50 on dog food, waited over 3 weeks for delivery and it never arrived. After spending ages trying to get through to them on the phone (it's virtually impossible - they never answer the phone) I was consistently told until they got the dog food back they could not refund me. That's after waiting now for a month. I have now opened a case with Paypal to get my money back because Seapets don't seem to be in any rush to give me it back. I'd steer clear of this company.

“Rubbish service”

Ordered & paid for 6 cases of Natures menu pouches on 20/05, still waiting for delivery a week later 27/05, phoned customer services to be told delivery wouldn't be until the following Wednesday 01/06 because of the bank holiday, rubbish. Told them to cancel the order and to repay the money back onto my card, was told would take up to 14 days as had to be agreed by a manager & there were none about. they stated they would sent an email confirming conversation 4 hours later nothing received. Spoke to, I assume a supervisor in the Tollgate Store who would try and sort out from his end, still no response. I phone them up to cancel my order because they were taking too long was on the phone asking to speak to a manage but all I kept getting was excuses I would personally not order from here very bad experience very poor of communication

“Ridiculously over priced”

Visited today to buy 4 cuttlefish bones. When I took them to the till they wanted to charge me almost £12. I usually pay less than a £1 at a different pet store. When I queried this, the cashier said there was a price increase. I said to put them back as a price increase of 1200% was totally unacceptable and I am sure cuttlefish aren't going extinct. I visited my usual store later on and paid 63p for the same thing. I also noticed that certain pets were for sale at greatly increased prices so I won't be returning.

“Do not waste your time or money”

Do not give them your money. Seapets advertise products that they do not stock. They do not advertise this and do not email this to you either. What they do,do is take payment from you instantly. You get get an email saying this but that's where the communication ends. You get no further correspondence what so ever. They have your money and are not at all bothered if they deliver the goods or not. Try ring going them and it takes days to get through, I wonder why?... When you do get through you get fobbed off, oh it will be despatched within 3 days, oh, we are expecting a delivery from one of our stores. They must have training on the list if excuses. So when they eventually say you can have your money back, oh that will take 2 weeks. 2 weeks, we all know that money transfers happen instantly now. Another fob off. Please do not give them any money for their retirement fund.

“If I could give 0 stars I would !!!”

If I could give 0 stars I would !!! So I've ordered from this company (Seapets) 3 times now and every single time has been such a let down ! First order I checked everything was in stock then phoned up and ordered. 7 days later I phone them to ask about my order and it hasn't been sent because or a pair of £3 tongs hadn't come in even tho I was told everything was in stock. I asked to remove that item and send the rest of my £200 order. 7 days later still no delivery. Phoned up they said there still waiting for the to go that had been removed from my order !! My second order was 2a few weeks later I was assured it would be with me within a week so I thought I'd give them another chance. I needed the items as soon as possible. 7 days later no delivery. I phoned and they couldn't find my order at first, 10 mins later they found it and couldn't tell me why it wasn't sent so I cancelled my order and had a refund. So I thought I'd give them yet another chance and ordered stuff on Monday. I was told it will definitely be with me on Thursday. So it's Thursday today and guess what ? No delivery!!! Phoned up and said I'm supposed to be having a delivery today but haven't received a dispatch email . I was told yet again that my order is delayed which has really p'd me off as I've had to take a day off work to be in for the delivery !! I have yet to have a good experience buying with this company. From ridiculous delivery time to no email replies for days to taking hours for someone to answer the phone. I'm so disappointed with all this. Especially the fact that I had to take a day off for no reason.

“Appalling communication, no order update, part delivery”

laced my order of 6 items valued at about £60 on 20th March when payment was taken immediately. Received confirmation email. 2 weeks later had received no update so emailed them. Reply came 3 days later explaining supplier issues but no expected delivery date given. Phoned but no answer so sent email 7 days later requested further update & reply stated 2 items still outstanding from their supplier. Part delivery arrived 7 days later containing 4 of the items, one of these was broken. Emailed them immediately with pictures of broken item requesting replacement & update of outstanding 2 items with their reply apologising & confirming the sending of a replacement but not the other 2 items! 10 days later I phoned but no answer so emailed again but received no reply. It is now 7 weeks since order taken & payment made & still I'm waiting for the 2 remaining items & replacement for broken part. Have now emailed them asking for refund. Wish I'd read the reviews before placing my order, something I shall not be doing again with this company...lesson learned the hard way!!
