Having looked around and found Woolys direct (woolworths.com) to be the cheapest I ordered 2 Tempo Tub chairs on 26th July. Since then I have been told our order is coming on Tuesday three weeks in a row, & recieved an email about a refund of the order which we hadn't requested and they knew nothing about!
We made over 80 (yes I counted them up) attempts to call their call centre. On the few occasions that they have answered the phone they have sounded amazed we have had such problems… Read Full Review

I ordered from this website because of the delivery time. The website claims to offer next day delivery. Once the order was processed the date given was two days later - ok. But 3 days later I am still waiting and the goods have not even been dispatched! The "track now" function on the website shows the delivery date as yesterday!!! The call centre staff seem unable to do anything about this. A fancy dress costume which arrives after the party is clearly useless. Not impressed… Read Full Review

Very disappointed, thought I would see what the new online Woolworths had to offer, ordered Vtech Kids Digital Camera which was on offer for a great price. Ordered it 10th November with a date of delivery 2nd December as they were awaiting stock. Still waiting now and they have put the date back twice now till the 16th December! Ordered a child's toy as a present, as they were the only place offering next-day delivery, which I needed. I paid the extra fee for morning delivery, too.
Next morning came and went, and nothing was delivered. On checking online, I noticed a note saying "please call us", which I did. It was very sad when the British institution that is Woolies bit the high street dust, most of us had grown up shopping there. Having always bought Ladybird clothes for the kids, especially for school, it became a nightmare finding the same fit, quality and value at other retailers. The website is pretty good, however being "Woolworths" it doesn't feel the same, nor does it have the same spark with it when purchasing an item, as the main attraction for myself and im guessing with some others was that woolworths was just one of those shops that was fun to walk around.. browse then buy randomly.
Unfortunately that just doesnt feel the same to me.

I placed an order for some toys for Christmas and had them delivered to my local store. Waited in for my curtains on the due delivery date which did not turn up. I left a message to ask what had happened, i was told they would try to find out what had happened to them but I did not receive any contact. almost a month after the due date i sent a message saying i would like a refund and to say how disappointed i was then that evening got a phone call to say my money would be refunded. Ordered some flowers from Woolworths for a birthday and found out the day after the flowers were supposed to be delivered that the order had been cancelled. No specific reason was given just a list that may have caused the cancellation! Placed an order on 22nd July for an exersise bike (online). Delivery date given in first email as Monday 28th. Waited in ALL day, nothing. i ordered a 32 inch medion tv from www.woolworths.co.uk on 19th july 2008, and woolworths emailed to say it has been despatched, only to be told when phoned by a courier today(a courier that is unknown to me, and apparently not trackable)that it will be tuesday at least before i get it, when i buy online nearly everything is next day, so why the time delay?

I ordered an item on 15th April for my son's birthday on 25th April, I received an email on the 21st confirming it had been despatched and should be received by 23rd, great or so I thought. I ordered two slob chairs from Woolworths on the 9th of November, to be delivered on the 14th. I am still waiting! The first order was lost, so they were reordered. One was delivered on the 5th of December, and now I have been told that my other order may be lost again. As they are Christmas gifts, and there are only 5 days to go, I am very disappointed. The telephone service is so busy, in my experience, you can be hanging on the phone for 40 mins before you get answered.
The people try to be helpful but can only send an email to the couriers to find out what's happening and that takes 2 days.
They are not allowed to phone them direct unless they get permission from a supervisor.
I have now just been told that the couriers have now LOST the order and I could re-order but they can't make sure I will get the order.

Having placed the order online back in May and been advised by email that the order should be delivered on or before Tuesday, 19th June 2007, we decided to go ahead with this. One of the DVD's was intended as a gift for a birthday, and another for a friend, and both were initially wanted for May.
