“Problems with two mattresses ”

We bought a king size divan and mattress with a pillow topping from our local Dreams store two years ago, after refurbishment of our main bedroom. The first problem we encountered was that for some reason the order had been cancelled so even though we had received a delivery date, we did not get our bed on time. “Dreams are the best”

I was quite apprehensive about ordering a bed on the internet ..I searched for ages then when I had an idea of what I wanted and needed I rang DREAMS. The salesman couldn't have been more helpful and indeed managed to interpret what I was trying to explain . I ordered a divan ( it has to slot into a antique bed frame) . “Terrible customer service - AVOID”

We recently bought a bed from Dreams. I have to say now, if you want terrible customer service then you have arrived at the right place. We ordered a new bed for our new home which we were due to move into in 5 weeks or so. When we visited our local Dreams store we mobbed by one of their many sales persons eager to get business. At Dreams in Weston-super-Mare, my fiance, myself and mum were helped by a super shop assistant and also the manager. We were impressed with how they both let us take time to make our own choices (when looking for a bed) but then they offered useful and helpful advice when we were ready. Dreams' delivery staff were great, courteous, friendly, efficient etc, however they forgot to leave the headboard bolts after assembling the bed, no worries though a quick e-mail and they had them with me via courier the next day. The bed itself is probably the most expensive I've ever purchased (although it was marked down from 1,850.00 to 670.00 or so). It is however the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I recently had to buy a bed for my Aunt, who had been seriously ill in hospital. Because of her illness, she could not choose the bed herself and it was at very short notice before she went into sheltered accommodation. The staff at Dreams, Crewe, could not have been more helpful with my plight. They spent time finding me the most appropriate bed which could be delivered in time. I would just like to say what an excellent service I received from the Dream Beds order and delivery service. We visited the Dreams store on Oxford Road, Reading and the gentleman there was very helpful and polite. Firstly l must say that over all we are happy with the bedroom furniture that we brought from Dreams. From the start the sales team in the store were very helpful took their time in dealing with our large order for two bedrooms, in fact they went past the stores closing time to process the order. Customer service from point of sale on the internet, through email, delivery of items, and follow up service is the best I have seen from a UK company in a long time. Staff all very friendly and helpful and call back regularly regarding the items and times of delivery. When 1 item was marked, they replaced it with a higher priced item at no extra cost and fitted it free also. I PURCHASED A DOUBLE DIVAN/MATTRESS FROM DREAM'S IN FEBRUARY 2012. AFTER JUST 4MONTHS THE MATTRESS HAD SAGGED AND WE COULD FEEL THE SPRINGS!!! DREAMS REPLACED THE MATTRESS IN AUGUST 2012. “Bad! Terrible!”

I bought two beds. But only one bed is deliveried on time. Another one will be delivery on next month. The customer service is really bad. They do not try to deal with the problem. Terrible! I purchased a bed on 25th May from Dreams, was told it would take a month. A couple of days later they rang me whilst at my sisters wedding and said they could deliver it sooner. I said I couldn't discuss it now but would ring them Monday to sort it out. In December 2012, I purchased a crystal bed from the Feltham branch, the sales guys were on me like flies when I first went in, purchased my dream bed and waited for delivery. When my first bed was delivered the guys assembled it, I then had a horrible squeaking noice, I called customer services and they arranged for a second bed to be sent to rectify the problem. “Never buy at Dreams - it is a nightmare!”

Dreams are very polite at the point of selling...As soon as they get your money - they do not care about you whatsoever. never buy any expensive item at Dreams...Customer Service - never bother calling you back, only keep promising to look into your problem or question - but nothing happens. noone care.And they never refund, you can end up with the product you do not like or need... This is all absolutely true. We were sold a Tempur mattress - which was awful. We got a comfort exchange agreed, for a higher priced mattress and then we were made to wait another 6 weeks for delivery! Dreadful! Go to John Lewis instead it'll save your sanity!!

“Low quality and poor customer service”

I purchased an Amy day bed for my one daughter and was happy with it, so when my other daughter needed a replacement bed I bought another Amy day bed - I wish I hadn't. The second bed is not of the same quality as the first one. After the bed was just over 12 months old the slats started to break/split and when you move, the squeaks. The customer service from placing my order through to delivery was exemplary. Every member of staff I spoke to was polite, and regular updates by email and text kept me, as the customer, fully informed of the progress of my order. I especially appreciated the 4 hour window provided for the delivery time. Three weeks ago I ordered a bed and mattress from the basingstoke branch. The sells guy confirmed that it would be delivered and assemble it. Well it was delivered today but it wasn't assembled as per prior agreement. When I phoned the store I was told to contact customer services. I ordered 2 single bed memory foam mattresses, on a certain date, only afterward I realised I had put the wrong date as I needed the mattresses 1 week earlier as they were for my holiday cottage. I bought a bed from Dreams, but found the mattress to be to hard for my arthritic spine, but the shop were unable change the mattresses before the thirty days,quite understandable!
