“The worst experience ever!”

Our experience in Wolverhampton Dreams store was the worst we have ever had with any company. First of all, when we bought our bed we asked to deliver it in a few days and paid £40 for that. We never got our bed delivered on the arranged date and when we went back into the store to sort it out, they were rude and ignorant(seemed like we weren't the first people they've done this too), they openly lied to us saying that they delivered it but no-one was home even thought we had been waiting for… Read Full Review

“Lied to a lone, disabled customer”

I'm sitting here sobbing my heart out because I'm trying to get an adjustable bed delivered that I paid for three months ago (August). I spent around 1300£ in store for 2 mattresses. I bought Zen Rejuvenate Pocket Spring mattress from Store.We bought Rejuvenate after lying on the instore mattress and finding it to be comfortable. After delivery on first night I could not sleep on this mattress it was so uncomfortable and firm. How can actual mattress be so different from the one instore? on day of delivery the delivery drivers put bed together it didn't sit properly so they ordered a new one, on the day the delivery drivers asked to see the bed and asked why we were having a replacement I told them, they asked to look at it and they said it just needed adjusting and took the mick out of the other drivers, so they adjusted it ok now it sits ok at the bottom but the left side of the ottoman bed and the top is slightly raised and when the bed is up the pistons are not in line and… Read Full Review

I bought a kingsize bed last year, from a North of Ireland shop, had the bed a few months when things started going wrong,everytime you turn in the bed it creaks and thumps, it sounds like a 90 year old bed. “Dreams- more like nightmares!”

We purchased a divan bed from Dreams in February 2012. We spent £1000 on the mattress alone. After having it a few months we noticed there were dips in the bed that didn't disappear. I am 8.5 stone and my husband is 13 stone so not overweight. We had taken out the 10 year warranty and called dreams who sent out an inspector. Ordered Bedroom furniture 11 weeks ago and paid £2233 in full on ordering,And still waiting! been told three times it's on the ship (It's from Germany)been into the Oxford store and they tell us it's on the way. I purchased a Leather Manhattan Double bed from Dreams in June 2013 which turned up on time and delivered by helpful guys. Initially pleased with the bed but after less than two months it had worn through around the edges of the leather on the base and the drawers in a number of places. “Dreams Beds - Appalling service - will never use again”

Ordered an electric bed for 89 year old father from Dreams - spent almost £2,600 on bed and accessories. No one told us the delivery would be via 2 different suppliers - one for the base & the other for the mattress. This in itself should not have been a problem if Dreams co ordinate the delivery, but they do not. They just let the deliveries come separately. Will not go in to the long saga of many calls to try & sort out the delivery but the end result is that the base has turned up 5 weeks… Read Full Review

paid for bed frame to be put together this was done by the van drivers who were not skilled in this at all. Bed wobbly had to get it inspected and then they sent another 2 clowns who were as competent as the first 2 so don't listen to the lies about skilled workers put the bed together. This poor quality work led to the bed frame buckling and the wood splitting and the bed collapsing. The process was great, from the moment we got in - the salesperson wasn't too pushy, the products recommended are simply perfect and that is 6 month after the purchase, everything is still perfect. Dreams being Dreams of course I had to remind after seven days that they owed me £1288.00. this company is incompetent from the top down and the only word of praise goes to the delivery drivers. As I have received a full refund ( less delivery costs, bloody cheek ) I see little point in giving you an order number. I have dealt with your M.D and most of your customer service dept.
Your company from the top down is a disgrace(excepting delivery drivers). You have the worst customer service department I have ever come across. I will never deal with you again and I go out of my way to discourage others to do the same.
I am really surprised that a company such as Dreams manages to keep going. Read all your reviews, most say you are rubbish apart from the ones that I suppose were written by the staff.

Ordered 2 double beds, a single toddler bed and two sets of drawers. Spent probably about £2000 and have received them most poorest customer service, and after care!! WAITING FIVE MONTHS FOR A BED AND STILL NOTHING .. NOT EVEN IN THE COUNTRY APPARENTLY!!!!Worst service ever. Ordered Kyoto bed at end of April and still don't have it. Customer services never ring back, and the store take 2/3 days to reply to our voice mails. We have been told many excuses why the bed hasn't arrived ... It's in quarenteen, been checked for health and safety standards ... Yet the grey one is still advertised on the website .... The docking station is faulty , etc... Just excuses. We were then told by somebody else that it wasn't in quarenteen at all and that they could only order this bed in bulk.We received our mattress early but don't appreciate sleeping on the floor in our first new home together, especially as it is coming to winter and would also love to watch tv in our tv bed. We have received 200 pounds in vouchers but this wasn't enough for the wait .. I also suffer back pain.they sent us pine bunk beds, two mattresses and another 120 pounds in vouchers for my partners two children.We spent 2500 on the bed and mattress and another 800 on wardrobes, so their not really giving much away. I was told the bed would be in the country today 23rd sept, but I contacted the store and customer services and they still know nothing. If I don't get my bed this week I will be cancelling my order. I can't wait 5 months for a bed!!!!!!!!!!!

From walking into the store to delivery, I honestly cannot fault the 'dreams' team. The gentleman in store was friendly, experienced and was fantastic with my 2 year old son. The communication from the store was excellent. The delivery team were friendly. I bought and paid in full a bed frame and mattress from the Botley Road store in Oxford. The so-called manager was rude, arrogant and ignorant and I will never shop there again!
