Nationwide contacted me the same day and arranged to collect my (driveable) car from my workplace a couple of days later and to bring me a courtesy car (covered by my insurance) at the same time. “An awkward scrape invisibly mended.”

After an unfortunate encounter with my nearside garage up and over door fittings the car had a substantial scrape behind the front wheel and across the front door at the hinge outside area, the folded wing mirror was also damaged. The repairs carried out have left the area blemish free with a perfect match into the adjacent areas. A fox ran in front of me and I needed a completely new front bumper, I recieved a few quotes and decided to go through my insurance. “Hail damage repair”

We recently suffered damage to two of our vehicles through a violent hail storm, this left both vehicles with loads of small dents all over the roof, bonnet, and some side panels. Our insurance company used Nationwide as thier approved repairers and the vehicles were duly collected taken for repair and we were left with a couple of loan cars, we were told that we could not carry our dogs in the loan cars despite the insurance company knowing we needed to. Absolutely horrible place to go and get your vehicle repaired. When checking up on my vehicle the receptionist does not help instead they transfer you to someone different who has to give you and update. Poor communication throughout. Do not recommend this place at all… Read Full Review

What can i say other than awesome! When you first damage your car (and it is entirely your fault) you just want the problem to go away and as effortlessly as possible. From the moment i picked up the phone to my insirance company to the moment i picked up my car (3 days before estimated finish time!!) the communication was second to none. my partners car was written off in a non-fault accident. Nationwide called to say he was able to collect everything out his car whenever suited him. as we both work full time he said it would be a while and that was fine. got a phone call today from another company saying his car is in the borders! he was not contacted to say his car would be moved and also they knew he was still to collect his things! he has things in the car he needs for work for the end of this week also money and car jacks… Read Full Review

“Poor shoddy work carried out”

My car went in for replacement drivers door and rear drivers door as an insurance repair. Car came back and everything was fine, until weather started to pick up. I used the back window a few times and realised it wasn't going up as fast as it should, thought need new motor. Until I was putting it up and heard a crack. Well I cracked my window putting it up. Recently had my Ford Focus repaired at the Falkirk branch and the service I received from the beginning was outstanding! I was given proper directions to the centre, was asked if I had wanted them to deliver a courtesy car to my house but felt as I was passing I would go there. Excellent service. Was told the car would be ready at the end of the following week (Took it in on a Tuesday). I was offered a courtesy car but didn't take it as the insurance was £80 which as it turns out didn't really cover you for anything as if I had had some damage to that car, I would have to go through my own insurance again and pay the £400 excess again!)The staff did agree that it wasn't very good.
